[Discussion] X Drake a confirmed member of Kaido Pirates?

The latest cover story showed a dinosaur attacking Caribou and the only dinosaur we know of is X Drake. Also, if you look at the dinosaurs spiky head it resembles the drawing of X Drake with all the Supernovas post-timeskip.

I don't think so. I mean before the time skip he was looking to get Kaido's attention by attacking one of his territories.

But I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Why would he randomly attack Caribou? The only reason I can think of is: The protector of the island was defeated and thus Kaido send someone to get his territory back.

Yeah when I saw the T-Rex I immediately thought of Drake, I really don't think there you need to doubt about that being Drake. I'm pretty sure I predicted that Drake would join Kaidou's crew all the way back just after the time-skip as it was supposed to be one of Kaidou's favorite islands and I doubt that Kaidou would let a rookie take one of his favorite islands away. Also in the anime (not manga though I think) the protector of the island wasn't really impressed by Drake's transformation.

I'm going to see if I can find it somewhere.

There's no way Drake was supposed to be able to take down Kaidou, so I still say he might have joined Kaidou.

I predict that the first thing the Strawhats will encounter is an armada of marines just when they resurfaced again after FI

Seems like he indeed has joined Kaido pirates, though he might do some type blackbeard type shit in that crew. He couldn't stick with the marines, same might happen this time. P.S with a guy of his intellect, it is quite possible.

Last time we saw him he was facing off with Scotch and looking for Kaidou. Now after Caribou defeated Scotch, we saw him jump in to help all of Kaidou's boys, it's obvious he's with the Yonkou. The only way to survive in the New World is to constantly go up against the Yonkou or join them.

If both Iron Body Scotch and X Drake survived their Fight and now a Dinasour is fighting an enemy Iron Body Scotch couldn't defeat then it most probably is X Drake who allied with Kaidou.... =D =D

I fail to see how it would make him a part of Kaidous crew. I think that Drake took that Island as his territory (keep in mind it's the same Island he first landed on in the New World.). If he was a Kaidou pirate that would be a pretty epic plot twist on Odas part. He's always had an interest in Kaidou...

How can Drake made a Yonko's territory his own? If he is protecting the Island from outsiders that obviously means that he has that island under his watch and for that he needs to be a part of Kaido pirates, because he can't snatch it from them.

It's pretty obvious that it's Drake. He might be in allience with Kaido, but that is either a fake one or one that will help him dethrone another Yonko. I seriously doubt being a Yonko ally was Drake's ultimate motive...

Kaido does have a monster army and who better to recruit then another OP monster


It makes sense considering that guard survived and that dinosaur looks alot like Drake.
What probably happened is that Drake beat the guard to gain Kaidou's attention and in some way proved his skills.
He then got accepted into Kaido's army.This would be a cool way of reintroducing him and it would certanly add to the plot.It would be an awesome interaction between Law,Luffy and Drake.

But there is always a chance of him working from the inside to take Kaido out(which would make sense since Drake doesnt seem like he would enjoy being an underling) but considering we have seen that done by both BB and Law to benefit it would get kinda repetetive to watch Drake do the same even if it is a Yonko spot.
