hey guys can any1 plz help me to understand wut is izanagi???how it works???and wut they meant by turning illusion into reality???

Have you seen the first fight between Itachi and Kakashi?When Naruto was still young,Itachi trapped Kakashi into an illusion and stabbed him inside the illusion,but the pain could be felt in reality.

i know this already but i dont understand how madara was able to dodge konan's 10 minute paper bomb blasts using izanagi???did he just make those blasts into illusion???is yes than it means is izanagi invincible untill it tires out just lyk in case of danzo???
ok so u know things go through his body right??? but it only last 5 mins.
5 mins of his "gost body" + 1min izanagi wich turned the explosions into ilusions and was enouf for madara to cold down and get into "ghost" mode again for more 5 mins= 11mins.
11 min > 10 mins.

so is izanagi invincible???untill the eyes is lost???or it can be countered???in case of danzo sasuke too benefit of the time gap after which danzo eyes again opened???and madara said that izanagi costs the person his eye sight but in case of danzo his eyes although closed but again opened after sometime why is it so???
not exactly. madara's eye closes when he warps behind konan, and according to his words izanagi works on even after that. of course he could have just casted a genjutsu later, but concerning the eye i would definitely say that madara's lasts at least 5 minutes.
@topic:
since it's a genjutsu, you could possibly break it with a stronger genjutsu. in theory there are other ways to beat genjutsus, but izanagi doesnt seem to disturb chakra, so it is used by the user, not on the enemy. therefore sage mode and bijuus dont work.

WELL danzo's sharingans are mutated or something like that. its not the original uchiha sharingan.
There Can only be the original uchiha sharingan if people could just MAKE sharingans dont you thinkthey would and im gessing your reffering to the fact that danzos sharingans dont have an outer cornea ring kishi just messed up the drawing thats all or whoevr draws this and even if there was a mutated sharingan i dout it could not be affected by izanagi
