If Big Mom was slightly more focused on Luffy and less on the wedding, he would be as dead as a door nail. If Smoothie was more "competent" according to you Brook wouldn't have made it out with the plans.

All this bitching and moaning because you can't handle the 1 chapter a week rate. And complaining after the fact. Probably going to say err mah gawd i feckin hate Whole Cake island after you finished it. Because you have been non-stop whining about it for 90 weeks. It's no wonder that you don't come to like it.

Drop the series for 6 months and binge read it if you're having so much trouble with the pace.

I didn't say he was a loser, I said he's failed at every turn since the chaos started. Nothing he's attempted to do has ended in success. Him trying to shoot Sanji and killing the priest instead is still a failure regardless of what people around him are doing.

Him being unable to stop the cake from being destroyed shows the limits of his foresight relative to the rest of his abilities.

Him failing to even notice Brook going for the picture shows his inability to adapt beyond his visions, making his foresight a liability as it's just distracted him so far.

Trying to act and resulting in failure is just as bad as not acting, period.

Plus as Love Cook has mentioned, the chaos has been relatively brief. It literally JUST started and you're already expecting them to be super on top of what's going on?



Right, because I'm sure Big Mom would put her Poneglyph/valued treasure behind a door that's easy to break down? Don't forget that there are materials in this world that even top tiers like Whitebeard can't break, like the siege wall in Marineford and seastone, so it's pretty stupid to ridicule a character for not busting a door the Emperor she serves has to protect that Emperor's extremely valued items.

Being fair to the guy, it was quite the plan really. Luffy having so many clones and then coming right out and stating who he was, thereby taking FULL focus from all the other Luffy's who they now think are just animals (what with the noises they were making), to then Jinbei taking attention of Big Mom and everyone else so that Brook, disguised as just another fodder Luffy, could go behind even Big Mom's back and break the Mother Caramel picture.

I'd like to know if that was the plan that Jinbei and Brook cooked up.

And also, what I found disappointing was how Bege bigged up the BM crew saying hey only have seconds before they're all attacked and I'd say from the time of Luffy busting out of the cake to Brook breaking the picture has been way more then a mere few seconds, so what are her crew doing??

I will have to agree that smoothie isnt living upto my expectations as a Yonkou commander. Katakuri and Cracker are beast but Smoothie isnt doing anything for now. Also BM is a terrible leader, its not her crew that's incompetant, but the way she rules over the WCI and runs it with fear, kinda makes her crew half baked. Pretty sure if it were WB's Crew, Luffy would have been an unofficial part of it already.
