Wrong timing for Kakashi gaiden?

Ok i was wondering how many people think the timing for Kakashi gaiden is a bit off.
We are gonna see Sasuke facing Deidera and then all of the sudden go to Kakashi gaiden???
You would think they would have put it when kakashi dies fighting Pein or maybe when he encouters Tobi for the first time, but not in the middle of another part of the story.
Don't get me wrong, i love to see Kakashi gaiden as much as anyone else, but to show it in this part of the story is just weird and not well thought through if ya ask me.
