Is FT Logic saying
God(s)<Dragons....

Cause last i remember..God Slayers can eat Dragon slayer powers.. Yet we have 2 god slayers.. their that are excluded from the picture.. can somebody explain this

Was god slayer magic introduce just to hype things up? If so i want to see these God(s) come down to help defeat these damn dragons:devil::devil::devil:

i mean, god slayers were never said to have slayed gods. there was no proof. so it was definitely a hype up, especially after natsu ate the flames and wendy was able to stalemate.

As far as I know there's no evidence that physical God's actually exist, so the name "God Slayer" is really just a self given title to show that its a powerful type of magic. Really they just use advanced types of elemental magic, but their spells weren't designed to do damage to any specific type of individual.

the real gods in FT are dragons so a puny god slayer should just sit down and let the real God slayers (dragon slayers) do the work.

I always theorized that God Slaying Magic was in fact derived from Dragon Slaying Magic. DSL was originally taught to humans by dragons and that GSM was then a result of research to obtain DSM without a dragon teaching you. Frankly what makes DSL DSL is that your own body transforms to that of a dragon, something that never happened with GSM. Also people tend to forget that somewhere at the start of the series DSL was referred to as magic amplified by emotions. With other words DSL is much more potent and has more potential than GSL. However GSL provides a solid alternative. Compare it to having a risky, but potentially way more rewarding option and a safer option.

Not to mention dragons might be considered higher than gods in FT.

God slayers in base are more powerful than Dragonslayers , however we have not seen God slayers use Godforce, and "Black Drive" (as all god elements are black) in order to increase their magic power , UNLIKE dragon slayers who have been shown to be capable of using a second magic other than the one they are taught ; adding versatility etc. along with their Dragonforce and "___Drive" magic

I have the feeling we might see a God slayer as one of the four gods of ishval , maybe a "white" god slayer , thatll be quite a task to illustrate

God players probably have the same role as Dragon slayers. They are probably meant to kill some god or something. Or maybe the gods have already been killed, who knows...

I don't see why gods can't exist in fairytail world I see God's being the next threat after dragons I think zeref is a god of death or darkness God's are magical so why not exist in a world with magic.
