[Discussion] WOW! Fairy tail is garbage.....

I am currently watching Fairy Tail and am on episode 50 and wow this anime is sooooo "Lack Luster" i mean damn, on episode 50 the story is still Sluggish and the character developement sucks, i mean damn man in Naruto by episode one it gets str8 to the point about the main character and by episode 50 the character developement very well done and you are already hooked, just like Bleach...Bleach is even worse though by the start of the Gotei 13 arc you are an addict cause everything is soooo epic! Let me get to what Fairy Tail is lacking and why is kinda sux.

Character Development: Garbage

Story line: Mediocre, most of the time i dont even care

Feedback after arcs: NONE WHAT SO EVER!!! Thats one thing i hated, after an arc they dont even show you what happened cause of the events or hear people talking about it. (I luved one piece for that)

Characters: Weak at best, main character is so-so....doesnt really get me fired up

Antagonists: Bullshit, they all seem weak....and especially with Jalleel, it could've been so much better (example Aizen from Bleach)

Overall i would say the story sux and i dont even think i wont to watch anymore episodes, its the worst anime i've seen yet and i've watched....

Yu Yu Hakusho- Beast
Naruto- Spectacular of course
Bleach- Insanely Badass
One piece- F'ing Genious
Gundam Seed- Action packed and great plot
Death Note: Wayy shorter but still better
Fullmetal Alchemist: same as death note

Don't watch Fairy Tail for the story, it dosen't have one. It's like Bleach, you watch/read if for the fights and action.

Every single arc involves the main party from Fairy Tail (Natsu, Lucy, Erza and Grey) to face a new guild or a group of villans who seemingly are much stronger than them, but Fairy Tail always wins. Either due to "the power of nakama" or a random powerup.

It's not half as bad you say it is, its actually quite fun if you ignore the non-existent story. Read the manga, the illustrations are really well done and there are no fillers.

naruto is my favorite anime because of the story , in my opinion a good story is 80% worth of the manga , it makes it more novel like

I don't know... sometimes I'm watching 10-20 episodes from a bad anime if I'm curious about what is the ending, but... 50 episodes...

well a fan of FT just said that it lacks story , which doesn't mean it sucks , it just means it's not my type of manga

Frankly, I found Fairy Tail better than Bleach.

In fact, everyone have different taste and frankly, you should not overstate things like that.

You said that there is no character development. Well, I don't agree with you cause here's a constant evolution of the characters' past but there's just no random power-up of characters like in Naruto or Bleach. In Fairy-Tail, it's mostly constant new characters and very strong characters appearing throughout the story. That's what I like about Fairy Tail. If you look at it carefully, the main character is "supposedly" Natsu (it's debatable) but they, instead start it with Lucy entering a new guild. And as the story proceeds, new characters enter the scene little by little or at-least show their powers as time proceeds.

Sure, Naruto does that too with Madara, Oro and Akatsuki but they are all antagonists. Here, even protagonists are shown little by little. That makes it more intriguing. Also, there's no constant powering-up of several characters that make 2-4 characters completely OP'd compared to others as time goes. Also, all the girls in FT are damn hot.

Moreover, I find that the battles are much better than in Bleach at least to me. Also, the main point of Fairy Tail are not their fights or characters, it's the humor. Every episodes are dipped in funny moments and hilarious situations. And to entertain, I find it to be the best. In fact, for the humorous approach, Hiro deserved applause cause instead of making a mainstream manga, he made something more on the humorous road that's usually distinguished to the excellent One Piece only.

The fillers goes on the same funny moments line and that's make it very good. It's not like the boring, shitty and damn-long fillers like in Naruto or Bleach that tests your patience. This one gives you a serious dose of laugh and silly moments and perfect as entertainment.

Last but not least, the story gets better and insanely better once the Edolas arc starts to me. And about antagonists, well, Jellal is not a compete antagonist. There's no definite antagonist yet, though more powerful and stronger antagonist come later on. I won't give spoilers.

Hiro twists things up often while still remaining to what to me is the core of Fairy Tail - funny moments with hilarious dialogues. His story and battle may take the second importance due to this but his unpredictability makes up for the not-so great story according to me.If you want to check Hiro's ways of twisting things up, go check out the latest manga chapter and you'll get all your jaw dropped. (though it won't be a good idea if you never checked FT before as it will be a huge spoiler) Sure, that's just a tease but it's one fantastic one cause once more, Hiro gets free road to his imagination now.

It's up to you. Anyways K stunna, if you wanna something with great story and plot, go and try something like Death Note or Code Geass instead of trying something that's firstly a humor+action manga that promises entertainment and meant to relish that way. Searching for battle thrills in FT is a bit hard. It's like searching for a beer taste in Coca Cola.

But to the guys who haven't read/seen it yet, I'll still ask you to give it a try instead of just listening to a hater uselessly. After-all, everyone's got a point of view. And I'll ask you question: "If it's sucked, do you really think, the manga will have been more popular than Bleach in Japan?"

It's up to you, if you wanna something that includes sexy girls, Naruto-ish battles and constant humor that's a bit on the line of One Piece humor, then Fairy Tail is perfect for you and a great non-stressful anime.

dude the anime is yes total "trash" but the manga is awesome, once again like naruto, no fillers and so much better fights.

in the anime they use this seal rubbish to use magic in manga they just kick ass and don't use the seals, dont have a clue where the seals came from, + all the attacks are the same bloody clip over and over again!!
