Yep, I would stop both military progression and space exploration, at least until humanity stands on it's feet. As a whole.

Won't mind with military progression stopping but space exploration must be done, there's lot of good things came because of it from medical equipments to communications and we waste lot of resources so stopping that will help world hunger more .

No. Barely have enough to survive as it is. Don't need more useless shit that serves as an excuse to steal. Even if they did go there they still wouldn't probably find anything there. The closest to a living thing they'd get would be something like a bacteria, and that wouldn't be anything spectacular. Well not with our current technology anyway.
