Would you be okay if Sai replaced Neji in Team Gai?

Since his days as a Sasuke fill-in are now over. That was kind of the vibe I was getting since Sai basically took Neji's place in the 9 tails Power Ranger attack and was drawn with Tenten and Lee. Everything would fit then with a new Konoha 12.

No matter how you look at it, Sai is the current member of Team 7. It was Sasuke who left the team.

Sasuke would join their team, but I doubt there's anymore ''teams'' in their ranks.

Neji was himself and he was irreplacable imo; i don't think they would put a spare one instead of him; i see Gai dying thus leaving Tenten and Lee as a "team"; but there would not be much to reform. Lee was meant to surpass Gai, i think after the war he would have his own students instead of being a part of a cell he is not the head of. Putt,ng Sai in team Gai would be off and redundant.
Plus they had been a taijutsu oriented team; Sai is not fitting ing such formation.
