What do you think ?

No and there shouldn't be the Otsutsuki Clan is the perfect rivals to the current Naruto Earth! Anything more should at least be old enemies of Hagoromo that he sealed away but they somehow become free again to wreak havok in the current Earth. Like maybe something like Jashin in concept or more real demons like what happened in the movie Blood Prison with that giant bat.

Would be interesting to see adult Sarada and Boruto with Sasuke facing opponents that don't have Rinnegan and all those other Otsutsuki techs we've already seen.

I don't know.

Hypotetically speaking, if even Hagoromo failed to seal those enemies, how would the next gen do it? Considering they will hardly get in Sasuke's and Naruto's level.

Sarada and Boruto aren't fodder and Naruto and Sasuke would still be alive.

P.S : Notice how Vatox always salty :lol

Eh, I'll take it. Still prefer the "technology creates conflict" idea though.

I'd rather have the next generation focus on politics, worldbuilding, and focus on character-depth. Rather than needing powerful villains for no reason, I'd like to see the generation interact with their parents, their Village, and so forth.

As a personal choice, I'd like to see Boruto go traveling with Sasuke to watch him grow up as a person. Because he started off so naive, I think it would be great character building.

For the rest of the generation, I'd like to see them work hard towards their goals (and if they don't have any, establish it). Building more side character focus rather than focusing on just Sarada, Mitsuki, and Boruto.

As for villains, we can go with rogue ninja who despise Naruto, Sasuke, and this 'peace'. Without having them being extremely powerful, we can build it on numbers and having them all be anonymous. In the sense that we know there is a large group of people who feel this way, but we are not able to locate each and every single one of them.

So that will lead to missions, politics, world-building, and character depth. Without the need to have our main characters fight extremely retarded alien characters, whilst keeping the Naruto-lore sane from Part 1 (probably better).

But the idea of his happening is as large as Chou Chou losing weight, so none :lol

Yes but it would be an asspul you see we already got backstories on hago so at least you'd think some foreshadowing would be in order. I like the idea tho.

Exactly this. Then and only then would it be considered an actual story with depth, focusing on everything not just a section.

"old enemies of Hagoromo that he sealed away but they somehow become free again"

That already sounds pretty bad. Also Jashin isn't real.

This sounds like an interesting idea, and would invite back the idea of using stealth tactics for gathering intel, infiltration and spy missions, working from the shadows, etc. that would bring this series about "ninjas" back to being ninjas and not demigods setting off mountain busting explosions every other minute.

Of course it's better, Boruto serves the most complex story and the most dynamic characters you'll get unlike Shitpooden!

I disagree with the premise that every new development needs foreshadowing. Think about this:

While it is true that we've gotten back stories on Hagoromo, we didn't get every small detail on his life. We only got the stuff that was relevant to Kaguya, the juubi and the infinite tsukuyomi. (Not counting the anime filler) We never really got other details about his life such as the details pertaining to his journies and his teaching of ninshuu. For all we know, Hagoromo could have encountered various monsters (such as the satori, the monster from the 5th shippuden movie) on his journies and sealed those. Additionally, we were never really given a reason why Hagoromo created his treasured tools.

In short, there is plenty of room for unforeshadowed new developments about Hagoromo that would not be a-pulls.

I like this idea, (though I also like epic power). I especially agree with the part about the new gen interacting with their village and their families. For example, for the longest time, I have wanted to see some interaction between Boruto and the Hyuuga clan. They are technically his only living side of the family (since Naruto's side is dead). It would only make sense then, for them to be at least somewhat a significant part of his life. I'd also like to see if Hanabi finally took control of the clan, or if Hiashi is still in power.

On another note, this idea reminds me of something: Where the heck are/were all the Namikazes?! I seriously wonder if Minato was really the only Namikaze in Konoha! There had to be some Namikaze out there (some cousin or something) that could have taken care of Naruto!
