At first I thought Hagoromo put him under a spell because he might have wanted to save his wife or something, but then we find out other fruits could be grown which implies there have been more Rinnegan users than we know of.

Do you think there's a more powerful Otsutsuki than Kaguya who put the King under genjutsu ? What about a more powerful being from which the Shinju's powers originate from ?


Otsutsuki are keepers of a fruit that has divine power, they pretty much have authority over universe but if someone gave them orders to keep the fruit then maybe there's another threat we haven't heard about yet.

The only rinnegan that casts genjutsu is sasukes, his rinnegan is obviously unique. No other person has used genjutsu with rinnegan, even madara had to switch back to EMS to cast genjutsu on raikage.

There's no proof other Rinnegan can't use genjutsu, we've seen other Rinnegans with different feats. And if it wasn't genjutsu it would've been chakra rods which leads to the same question, who's strong enough to make king of underworld their b-1-tch ? Was it Hagoromo or someone stronger ?

You need to show proof that it can, not factoring in hypothetical rinnegans or anything like that. The king of hell is said to be "called out" by the user. Seeing that this thing doesn't have any sentience, it's most likely just a summoning.

That isn't canon. Otsutsuki only go after the fruit for power, it was never said they "protect" the shinju or any stuff like that. The rest is speculation.

I agree with this, there must be a bigger threat we have not heard about yet, I think that Kawaki will be the first step in this matter maybe his background or clan will show us.

No and there shouldn't be the Otsutsuki Clan is the perfect rivals to the current Naruto Earth! Anything more should at least be old enemies of Hagoromo that he sealed away but they somehow become free again to wreak havok in the current Earth. Like maybe something like Jashin in concept or more real demons like what happened in the movie Blood Prison with that giant bat.

I don't think it's likely, the jutsu used to control him is called Naraka path and 'naraka' means underworld in Sanskrit language, it hints at him being the ruler of the pure world

It's Naraka Paths ability which has to do with the underworld. The name is just a name but It's not a creature being controlled.

Otherwise that makes Naraka path useless since that's it's power.
