Seriously, there was a genuine reason;

His bro Itachi always said "To be strong, killed your loved ones"

But Sasuke twisted Itachi's statement :-
"To be strong, purged or break your bond of your loved ones"

Sasuke had the chance to kill Naruto, but he did not.
Sasuke refused to acknowledge Naruto on both power and bond.
Sasuke had the 2nd chance to kill Naruto, but he did not.
Sasuke had the chance to kill Sakura (after fighting with Danzo), but he did not.
You may said that Kakashi or Naruto stop him.
Think back when Sasuke leaving the Leaf Village, the speed of Sasuke was fast enough to kill.
But Sasuke did was doing it slowly, giving the chance for Sakura to avoid.

Sasuke keep repeating that he had cut the bond between him and the Leaf Village, especially Team 7.
Hence, Sasuke did part of Itachi word, but instead of "Killing" he did was "Breaking the Bond"..........

At this point, Sasuke wants to destroy the Hidden Leaf becuase they sent Itachi to destroy the Uchiha clan even though it was Madaras fault, plus, he's already with Madara. But Sasuke would probaby laugh becuase he thought Sakura didn't have much strength or potential.

Sorry, that may have been confusing, I ment Madara took control of the Kuubi and attacked the village, becuase of this, the higher ranks of the Leaf Village thought the Uchiha clan was attempting to take over, so they had them assassinated, they wouldn't have had to done that if Madara didn't attack. It's basically his fault.

Okay, but how can sakura claims to love sasuke. I mean to my knowledge and I could be wrong about this... the only reason she love him is because of his looks and status. She has no personal attachment to him. She has a family, he doesn't. She was never alone during her childhood, he was. She made fun of naruto not having parents, he never did. That is simply not love. She can never understand sasuke's mental psyche. She doesn't understand the truth about the Uchiha clan and even if she did find out later she still can't understand because she is a only child.

Not only that her "love" is not love, because Sasuke only saw her as a friend, nothing more. Its more like an obsession or a crush to be precise.

sometimes i wonder how u guyz watch nd read naruto without better understanding..i may not use the word love cos of the kind of person sasuke is but ill use care..sasuke cares 4 her but in disguise though and if not 4 d whole revenge issue,the care might have turned to genuine love..he gave her a genuine thank you when he waz leaving konoha..meeting tobi spoilt everything but if sasuke were to be in konoha and naruto let sakura die,,sasuke would not cos of that turn evil and hate naruto,,NO...It will be very painful and cos of the super bond btw him nd naruto,,life goes on..
