Would Naruto have gone so far if Lee had turned instead of Sasuke?

and it's helped me re-establish the fact that Lee's such a dude and such a friend. He was the only one who noticed Naruto not being with everyone else and went to check up on him.

So what I wanna know your thoughts on is: would Naruto have gone so far to bring back Lee if he went along with Orochimaru instead of Sasuke? I could probably see it all playing out; Tsunade tells Lee she's unable to heal him and Lee's disappointed that all of his hard work turned to nothing due to not being capable of using ninjutsu/genjutsu and having to push his body so far in terms of taijutsu just to become a recognizable shinobi. Orochimaru then promises him that he could help heal Lee and help him use ninjutsu/genjutsu.

`you're forgetting Shikimaru. He helped everyone acknowledge naruto and believed in him long before any of the other people of the village would even care to admit.

Lord Orochimaru and Lee would be perfect together.
Both are among the most real characters and their motives are similar in some ways...

OT: I think Naruto would do that for any of his close friends...Though there are Gai and Neji before him whom i believe willing to fetch Lee more than Naruto... But i can see Naruto doing same stuff, he could understand Why Lee would try keep up his dream; him and Lee did get minor developments together but so did with Sasuke...
