Besides wasnt he the person who lectured naruto about the requirements to be hokage after the fight with nagato. That says it all, BUT we all know that konoha is a piece of shit and due to their discriminatory ways will not allow an uchiha to become hokage. Tbh why itachi still holds allegiance to an institute that has tormented his clan and himself is beyond me

I was just thinking, if Itachi never killed the Uchiha clan, do you think he would have ever made Hokage? I think he would have as everyone knows what a gifted ninja he is, but i don't know if his personality suited the role.:shrug:

Can't picture leaf higher-ups giving the go-ahead to crown an Uchiha Hokage. however IMO I would feel much safer knowing Itachi was defending my village over Minato, i think they are both very driven, protective people, but in terms of strategizing to protect an entire community and making he difficult decisions that come with the title, Im feeling itachi

No I don't think he ever would have made it to the age he will be considered a hokage candidate. He was around 29 when he died and already had a very bad illness.

Minato would have been older than Itachi because (at least in Anime) it shows Itachi caring for his little brother and he is clearly not very old, and Minato is now a father, and is fighting the 9 tailed fox.
