Worst Sensor Ninja's Ever

I've got to say, the Hidden Sand is the pits when it comes to sensor type ninjas. Seriously, can you name one decent one? No? Do you know why? Let me cite you some evidence: Orochimaru.

Orochimaru killed and assumed the role of the Kazekage. The whole time he was playing dress up, no one in the sand said a damn thing. Unlike Zetsu, Oro is not known to be able to perfectly mask his chakra. You would think if there were one half ass sensor in the whole village, he would've smelled Oro's insidious odor a mile away. It really calls into question how they are one the five great villages. It takes all kinds to run the world, and Sunagakure is missing one of those kinds.

You are correct, however most of the fighting force of the Sand went to the Chunnin exams (to invade) and the elites would've been around the supposed kage.
