The 1000 Justsu is likely an exaggeration. Its kinda like a legend who becomes famous and who's feats eventually outweigh the actual achievements. In this case, Kakashi is kind of like a living legend. Maybe he copied 50 jutsu or something, and it was blown out of proportion. When it comes to why he never really used his copied justu... well it was because they are all way outclassed by the time part 2 rolled around.

The biggest loose end is Orochimaru's true reason for attacking the leaf. Kishi teased us with the concept, and never delivered.

For me its Sasuke whose dream was to resurrect the Uchiha clan but all he did was have Sarada. Guess his love juice is not strong enough to fulfill his dreams. I almost feel bad for him.

Because it takes mastery to fully release like that, and he wasn't fully releasing his seal either. The reason Killer Bee survived extraction when Madara was revived was because he fully releases his seal when letting out the 8 tails. On the contrary, Naruto nearly died from his identical extraction because he was not yet fully capable of fully releasing Kurama. They might have been good terms at that point, but he couldn't learn that feat in one night.

All the other biju didn't have masters at the time and would therefore take their true form with little effort.
