Leaf started the whole thing...It was the Konoha counsel (can't be sure if Sarutobi agreed with it) that segregated the Uchiha. And then to shut them up before they could talk back against them.. Danzo did the massacre (Hiruzen knew about it). Itachi was forced. Save 1 uchiha or die with everyone else.
Hiruzen let a criminal just walk away... Doesn't matter if he was a student.
In Hashirama's Era the world was filled with war... Hashirama is know for stopping that era. Hashirama did deal with Madara..when the time came.. Before they were just simple clans working for others. BUT when the village was made and Madara came to Attack the leaf with the 9-tails.. Hashirama responded. Did hashirama know Madara would have done all this? no. But atleast he stood by his belief aka the Will of Fire.
Shodai, Hiruzen , Tobirama all would have been against the Massacre and instead would have talked to them.... And Hashirama and Tobirama wouldn't even have segregated them.. lmao. The counsel was more in control then Hiruzen thats where the problem is. They were only overthrowing them because Leaf was showing injustice.
What manga are you reading? No, it wasn't the Leaf that started it, it was the Uchihas and then the counsel had to gather and talk things around.
Itachi was forced just to kill his mom and dad, yes, but besides that he was against the way his clan was acting. Then again, what manga were you reading?
At first Sarutobi proposed a peaceful truce, but it was Danzo who then went to Itachi and proposed him to slaughter the Uchihas. After that, Itachi went to the third, comunicated him his decision and only asked that Sasuke was left alive.
Stop bashing Hiruzen so much, he was known as the most kind from the history and the most prosperous reign as a matter of fact.
What it's your problem with him?
And he didn't let Orochimaru run away, he just ran away. Hiruzen many times tracked him afterwards.
If you are incapable of answering to something with logic, don't act like a child and come with replies "It doesn't matter, bla bla". Get up to your own risen standards.
How do you know what they would've done if they were to confront this situation? They didn't lived on that era so stop making assumptions. We are basing things here on pure facts. Don't bring fantasies into discussion.
Uhm, yeah, he stood by his belief, Will of Fire and fought with Madara, with the intent to kill him, didn't first stood and talked to him. Do't give me the Will of Fire thing whereas besides Tsunade, Hiruzen is second best at spreading it. Just read some of his quotes. Thanks to him the Will of Fire was passed down to this new generation because he died for the Leaf, he died for protecting what he had most precious.
And not that I have something with Shodai, but if he would have properly taken care of Madara, he wouldn't be running wild now having Rinnegan and all those stuff. So, yeah, even the greatest Hokage (to some) made mistakes.
