That's true, Kakashi and Gai said there were a lot of Jounin mixed in with the chuunins they were fighting in the stadium. But Kakashi and Gai were beating everybody NP without even using their major moves.

Asuma at least has two elemental nature affinities. Some jounin we have seen don't even have one, nor do they have any other abilities and can only throw kunais to defend themselves like they are some random fodder lol.

I think kunerai is pretty weak honestly. but maybe because shes only been in one fight and she got completly owned.

ebisu is pathetic too. i mean the guy just sits there while his student fights one of the pains.

ebisu is my 4th favorite character i would say the guy who got fodderized by gaara's team leader after the meeting with kabuto

gekko hayate. i would concur.

EDIT: there are a lot of jonin who should have just stayed chunin, like iruka(unless he did make jonin and i didnt know) genma, ebisu, raido, hayate, kotetsu, izumo.

as for asuma, people say he's weak because we almost never saw him fight. and he got killed by hidan, and not knowing his power, the first person of a group to fight him is going to die, almost everytime. asuma isnt guy or kakashi class, but he would be the next tier down.

A little less hate for Ebisu, maybe? At least he didn't, to our knowledge at least, get killed by a White Zetsu. We know at least three jonin that, while together, were all beaten by a single White Zetsu clone.

Ya that was sad . Kankuro and Temari absolutely fodderized the crap out of Tayuya and Sakon, and likely would have won 2v4 against the Sound 4 in mid/high difficulty. What the heck were those two jonins smoking before that fight lol.
