Three weeks you say. I hate to wait that long to find my friend but ok.before I talk to our commanding officer. I want you to promise me that Kiriko will be ok here. she bunks with me at all times and if someone touches her in a wrong way they deal with me. Im a soldier and I know how they are.

 

[Souji]

SFC DarkNexus, once you report to our commanding officer, you will be under his command. You will not be able to go on your "rescue mission" unless you get special approval. Which is highly unlikely because we need all the hands we can get. Any insubordination will be dealt with accordingly, understood?

And Kiriko will be fine. She's a strong one, and she can stay with the other girls and women in the separate sleeping bunker.

Kiriko looks at DarkNexus surprised at what he said.

looks over at Kiriko. and whipsers to where nobody can hear him but her. Idont know about this. Theres to much we could be doing for thisworld.he does not understand I can save the world. what do you think kiriko?

"I don't understand this guy. He says it's everyone for himself but he is supposedly in this huge organization of survivors. I want to go get Droopy now rather than wait three days risking it." she whispers back.

 

[Souji]

(When I mean survival of the fittest, I meant those who were strong enough to band together and form groups. If it were everyone for themselves we'd all be dead, lol)

What are you two mumbling about? Come with me.

 

[Vexion]

plans have changed Ethan. Were not going to see your superior officer nor am I staying here any longer than today. Im sorry but we all have obligations to fulfill. This infection is bigger than your group of survivors and me, Droopy, and Kiriko are the only ones in the world that can stop the infection and save the world nd im not letting anything or anybody stand in our way. I will have to say good day to you Ethan.

thats right kiriko. lets go get our friend back. They turn and walk out of the building heading for the chopper. they jump in and take off into the sky. The camp is just a gleam in the distance now.

 

[Souji]

*Impressed by DarkNexus's and Kiriko's mettle and determination, Ethan starts having a change of heart, because he remembers of his own friends and how these two reflect their personalities*

I don't know why...but you seem trustworthy....if you can promise to stop this infection.... For the sake of humanity...

I will be your pilot and accompany you. I'll go to the commanding officer and take a leave of absence.

Can you promise me that? Can you really stop it?

*Ethan thinks of his own family and friends*

snap back before the chopper. Yes I will promise you I can save this world. It wont be easy but only me and my team can do it. its our destiny. and thats why we need to get our friend first.

Kirilo smiles at Ethan. "Thanks Ethan." She starts to walk to the chopper again.

 

[Vexion]

now let us go get our friend and cleanse this infected world.

 

[Souji]

*Ethan salutes them both*

Good luck, both of you. I guess this is where we separate ways... Unless you need a pilot.

We could always use a brave soldier like you on our team. well wait by the chopper you go get the ok to come.

Kiriko sits by the chopper looking up at the sky.

for this world being infected the sky is awful beautiful today wouldnt you say kiriko? Do you think we can trust this guy or what?

Kiriko smiles and her eyes shine in the sunlight. "Yeah... I'm not for sure about that Ethan guy but since he isn't an enemy I think we can trust him."
