Chibaku Tensei is the answer, and the sword and mirror were Itachi's items and not the general jutsu as far as we know. I want to see how effective Susanoo is while the caster is stuck in the middle of a moon.
?? that jutsu is a forbidden technique... but we don't knw wat really happens when u use it.. even though it looks like u sacrifice urself n kill ur opponent.. anko was going to use it on oro but he stopped it.. so nothing special abt it

susano is over rated, every shinobi is confedent and clains to have the best jutsu. I think susano comes wit a risk wen u use it, plus i think it can b countered, in my opinion pains jutsus r badass destroyed a village and he can give life, he also was able to resurect his other dead bodies, nejis defense and garaas is good n oro 3 walls, the 9 tails blast n 8 tails does it to. lol its hard to tell witch one is the best, i guess its how smart u r. but in my opinion pain has the bettr jutsus

Guys to be honest this thread is usseless. It`s like when kakashi and yamato were teaching Naruto chakra and nature manipulation. EVERY KIND OF CHAKRA HAS A WEAKNESS AND A STRENGHT TOWARDS OTHER CHAKRA. Same with jutsus. There is a counter to every sinle jutsu on that list.
And for those who said Susano as best tech well then the YONDAIMES body flicker would kick itachis ass if he got marked by kunai or by the yondaime himself.

I think OP forgot the Statue of Heretical doctrine which Pain has summoned. I mean it does count as a jutsu, doesn't it? You basically summone it and use in a fight.
But as far as this voting goes, I'm with Susano'o or Chibaku Tensei, as there two jutsu both seem unavoidable.
The first makes you totaqlly invincible, unless you can seal the Susano'o or probably use Hidan's Jashin no jutsu??, and the second one, used properly can just wipe out half of the ninja population. Not even Kyyubi could escape such pressure, let alone other creeps.

I don't mind someone defeating this argument, but please make one of your own as opposed to just saying Susanoo. I'd like to know why so I can further my knowledge. I don't care about right and wrong. Before Nagato's fight, I thought Susanoo was the top jutsu, but it was a matter of time before something came along to beat it. I respect peoples' votes on other jutsu, I just like hearing the arguments as opposed to statements. No offense, I know people don't always have time to do that.
Itachi's Susanoo: limited by range due to eyesight (20/20 vision, not counting his blindness factor) (unless the sword is somehow sentient like Naruto's Kyuubi chakra) and possibly the sword itself. If it hits you, you're done. The mirror absorbs everything it seems. I won't deny that. It's also limited by the user's equipment (I buy that Sasuke has this jutsu, but a tap to the forehead doesn't transfer items like it's ebay or something), but we should consider the strongest case we've seen obviously, Itachi's. It can't seal the soul of a Pein body, which has none.
Chibaku Tensei: Limit appears to be the users chakra. The amount of chakra used appears to limit size. It also requires strong concentration, which Nagato states. Size is also limited by how close to Nagato the Pein body is, which could be a problem if it overlaps with Susanoo's range. Takes some time to form. Once it starts going, one is going to get caught. Even the Kyuubi that repelled Shinra Tensei got pulled in.

I say susano. The reason is you can defend as well as attack at the same time, which is real power.
If you count the scary looking summoning jutsu then it is Gedo Mezo.

I suppose you are somewhat right. And by usseless i ment the fact that we will never find out. And i`m truly sorry if my post ofended you in some way. But i`m still loooking forward to the end result of this topic.
Ohh btw i just realised something : Kakashi`s MS Jutsu with the dimensional think could Susano defend against it since it is not a physical atack. Like Kakashis tech can go trough Itachis Susano or not? Think about it the only way to defeat something like that is if they put Kakashi in a genjutsu otherwise your a free target if he can see you.

Guys you all make the wrong assumption that Susano comes with the sword and shield witch in the manga is said that those are unique and they didn`t come standard. There were only Itachis and Susano alone in no big deal compared to some Jutsus here. ohh and btw why did no1 mention Tobis/Madaras spacial jutsu. Like man Susano or not Shield or not if Madara were to materialize behind Itachi and just put hes out of phase fist trough and rematerialize he could rip out his heart. So guys what do you think?
I think it's just that we don't know enough of it other then it's better then the 4th's technique. It could very well be part of the reason that Tobi/Madara has been behind the shadows all this time and shielding his identity. It's mainly because with the ability to transport anywhere in the world and have the best gps system in the world, Madara should be unbeatable and taken over the ninja world already but he hasn't. There must be some major drawback because even Uchicha geniuses haven't been able to figure out it's deal.
The problem with Madara's spacial jutsu is that.. one we don't know much about it as has been stated above.. 2nd from wat we know of it.. it looks like it is all defensive technique.. meaning Madara can only defend himself from other techniques.. he hasn't shown us if he can attack after defending frm a tech.. like in the previous chapter yamato tried to catch him.. sayin that he materializes or makes his body parts dissappear.. if that is so he can only defend himself but not attack anyone.. with Itachi's Susano on the other hand can defend anything n attack at the same time.. wich makes it greater for now
