As you know, Wood Release is the combination of Suiton and Doton to create an entirely new element(Wood). So I want you to begin by sitting on the ground and meditating. As you meditate I want you to focus on both Nature Manipulations. I want you to begin to focus your Suiton and Doton chakra into your left and right arms, respectively. Wait for further instruction.

Danzou sits down and begins meditating. He focuses on his Doton and Suit0on affinities. Focusing Doton in his right and Suiton in his left letting it flow and making it hard in the other. Once feeling comfortable enough he looks up awaiting future instructions.
Good, good. Now, I want you to clasp your hands together. As you clasp them, I want you to begin to combine each of the Chakra Natures. I want you to evenly fuse the different natures, until you have a stable combination of the two. Do not add too much of one of the Elements. If you do, the chakra will be unstable and will harm you if you attempt to use it. This is the most sensitive part of the training, once you pass this part the rest is pretty easy. So like I said, attempt to evenly combine the chakras.
Danzou slowly moves his hands towards one another focusing intently upon both of them as they make contact. He begins to fuse them together adding exactly half of each steadily. Creating a stable combination, he keeps focusing incredibly much to make them flawlessly even. After six hours of practice he feels that he can do it with ease. And he keeps on practicing until the next day where he can do it instinctively.
Excellent. Now, I want you to slam both your hands into the ground, releasing all the built up chakra. As you release it, I want you to focus and use the chakra that you have sent into the ground to create small roots. As you're doing this think about life. I want you to think and imagine life in its most natural state. Think about anything that has life and manifest the feeling into the chakra. The imagery should allow you to produce the life giving element, Mokuton. This will create tiny roots from the ground. Simple enough, now give it a try.

Danzou focuses and creates his mokuton chakra evenly pouring his Suiton and Doton chakra together. He then slams his hands on the ground with extreme focus, focusing on life and on the roots form within the earth. With his chakra , he creates Mokuton and small roots emerge from the earth. He thinks about life more and tries to pump more life into it, enlarging the roots slightly.

Continuously focusing on his mokuton chakra he manipulates the roots to intertwine and form into a pillar. Once done he makes it errupt from underground. He tries it a few times until he does it twelve times consecutively. He then smiles on his sucess.
How is that Makarov san?
Danzou manipulates his Mokuton chakra to form into a powerful pillar. He errupts it and strides forwards rolling on the ball of his left foot spinning around the pillar as he performs a side kick with his right moving his body weight to the other side kicking his wood pillar near the top. Cleanly kicking off the upper half of the pillar sending it crashing towards your water clone.

Danzou begins to pour together his Suiton and Doton chakra. Once together in his hands he creates Mokuton chakra. Manipulating his Mokuton chakra he extends it in multiple stakes focusing on flexibility yet hardness to impale your clone. Sending multiple stakes they should impale your clone from many sides.
