Minato finds Hashirama waiting for him on the training field. This was quite ironic as Minato had to teach Hashirama his own KG, but those are the disadvantages of Alzheimers getting knocked on the head.
"I am the 4th Hokage, Minato Namikaze, and I have learned some things about your ability. Now since I myself can't do it, I will only explain how the techniques work. Now, tell me everything you know about it. Since you are the creator of it, I expect a great analysis. So yes, tell me everything about Wood Release, it's strengths, weaknesses, how it is made and why it's special."
Minato then stands and waits for Hashirama.

Minato then stands and waits for Hashirama.
As Hashirama awaits his teacher, he would see a blonde haired man appear suddenly. He had blonde hair, and a familiar cloak. He notices the Kanji for "Yondaime Homage", and begins to talk with innocent glee. Completely different from the man of monstrous strength commonly referred to in lore.
"So, my old village has gotten a 4th Hokage?! It's good to see that my Will of Fire lives on in the new generation. OMG a fourth Hokage? Wow glad to see my old village is doing so well...and I see that my Will of Fire is still ongoing..........Could it be, a fourth Hokage?....."
Hashirama would then let loose a hearty laugh, as his successor asks him about his own KG.
"Well, the wood element is a Kekkai Genkai (or Bloodline trait) created through the simultaneous usages of the earth, and water element. I am the only one seen thus far, -even among my own clan- to have displayed this powerful ability naturally. Some however, seem to get my DNA, and recreate my ability, albeit rarely with the same degree of skill and mastery. Wood release itself, is commonly represented by strength, vitality, and growing. It's something that relresents what I stand for, my own Will of Fire. The origins of my KG have long been speculated....why was I gifted with this great ability...a gift from the gods perhaps. Although many have cited the tree of the Shinju. Perhaps, I inherited something from my ancestor Ashura. Perhaps I gained his life force and vitality to such a degree that I was able to manipulate wood. We can only wonder.
My Wood Release interacts neutrally with most elements, although it is strong to Earth, and Water. It can also be created from Earth Sources, Water Sources, and my own body. I'm addition, I can easily use it as a siphon to suck away and restrain Bijuu chakra. Another link to the Shinju...
Unfortunately, my Wood Release does have some weaknesses. For instance, the lightning element is able to easily pierce, and cut through my wood element.
Overall however, it is a truly versatile and powerful element...if I do say so myself."

Minato listens to the First Hokage as he explains. Of course he would know everything about the KG, it was his after all. Without wasting a single moment, Minato walked forth towards the first.
"Very good, Shodaime sama. Your KG can be described as one of the most versatile ones, being capable of being used in all creative ways. Now, since you have the basics down, we will start off with the actual techniques. I have a method of teaching. I will explain the technique, then I want you to perform it against a clone of mine, give me at least two advantages and disadvantages, and how you would use the technique in battle. Also, if you have questions, just ask! So then, Shodaime, let us begin."
Minato cleared his throat as he prepared himself for the lesson. Teaching the KG would take some time, as it had quite a lot of techniques.
"Okay, Shodaime, the first technique is quite simple. Using your Earth and Water chakra natures, and combining them, you will form it into Wood chakra. This chakra, will then be used to create a wooden pole, either from your body or from the ground itself. Once you have made said pole, use it to smack around my clone a bit."
Minato creates a clone that runs towards Shodaime.

Hashirama would get a smile on his face, as his sensei gave him instructions, and then erupt into a loud booming laughter.
So make a big stick from my wood? Understood, Yondaime.
With that said, Hashirama simultaneously molds water and earth chakra in his body before focusing it into the palm of his right hand hand. Without any prompting, a small stuck would begin to grow, his chakra bringing it to life. The wooden stick becomes larger, and more sturdy until finally, it becomes a large staff in Hashirama's hand, which he uses to beat Yondaime's clone around.
A few questions on this technique....my memory isn't so sharp these days. Can wood be created from anywhere on my body? I also have vague recollections of creating wood from the earth, and water. Is this possible? Hashirama then waves his hand through his hair distractedly.
In terms of advantages, this is a quick jutsu which can aid you in close combat, or to counter basic feeform. Another advantage I see, is that if this jutsu can be created from anywhere in the body, and an opponent is behind me closing in, I could form this jutsu from a shoulder blade or back so that the opponent is pushed back. Although I would have to detect him first. In terms of disadvantages, this jutsu is relatively weak, and can be easily dodged or avoided.

Shodaime didn't surprise Minato with his quick usage of the KG. He simply smiled as Shodaime was explaining, he too knew how to utilize the KG in battle. He did have some questions though, so Minato cleared his throat as he spoke.
"Well done on the performance, just remember that "how to use it in battle" is also a part you have to highlight. As for your questions, Yes it can be created anywhere from your body, and some Wood techniques can indeed be made from the Earth, Water and other Wood sources, but this one is short range, so it's just made from your body and the Earth before you (almost like how Edward Elric transmuted that stick in FMA ;_; ) Other than that, here is the technique."

Hashirama focuses his earth and water chakra, and fuses them creating wood chakra. He would then focus the mokuton chakra into his hamd, and create several shuriken made of wood. He would throw each of the shuriken, so that each one hits the clone directly in the midsection and causes him to pood away.
Advantages:
Very quick, and efficient with low chakra cost.
Has a very large range (up to long lol)
Disadvantages:
Low ranked
Easy to avoid/block
Battle Scenario
I would use these shuriken to attack an opponent attempting to enter short range.

It's a nice technique for RP purposes and then dummy could also be used offensively I believe, as it states a +5 damage for hits landed by the dummy. I wouldn't recommend it though. Anyway, use it on my clone to make them practice a bit."
