First of all, women in the manga aren't generally weak as ****. They are generally weaker than their male counterparts because of two reasons. One being that we have no main character which is a female, the closest we get would be Sakura but her role in the manga has been to be "trapped" between Sasuke and Naruto, emotionally ever since the start of the series. The other being that generally speaking, women are more emotional. That is a fact, that being said there are men who are even more emotional.

We have plenty of strong female characters in the series, such as Tsunade, Hinata, Kaguya, Kushina, Mito etc. that has done remarkable things. Take Tsunade for example. She used all her chakra and stamina to heal and protect the people of Konoha during Pain's attack. Even after she was drained, she stood up against pain using pure willpower. Knowing she would die, because he knows a leader should never have to walk over the bodies of their comrades. (Obito quote)

Then we have Hinata, who was the only Shinobi in the entire Leaf other than Tsunade who entered the battlefield between Naruto and Pain in order to try and help Naruto. She most likely knew that the outcome would be her death if she entered the battle, but she did it anyways. Because of her actions, Naruto lost control over Kurama and if he hadn't then Pain would have won the battle.

Kushina for example, survived the extraction of the Kyuubi and still wanted to give her life to protect the leaf, her husband and her child. She even got as far as to give her life and later help her child from the afterlife to obtain the power of Kurama. We also have Rin, who survived major parts of the war and lost a good friend. Still she didn't lose faith in her remaining friends or village as Obito did. She gave her life protecting them.

Women aren't any weaker than a man, they have the ability and chance to become equally strong. Its only a matter of view, and what "power" really is. I would say that "power" isn't measured by the amount of destruction you can cause, but rather by the amount of destruction you can avoid. Kaguya has shown this, as he wants to end the battle as quick as possible to avoid further destruction.

The manga got much better...just so you know...now that whiny Maddy isn't around. He started getting annoying, so its only natural a woman had to put a whiny man in his place.

He might come back, who knows, but hopefully not. Sasuke has great potential still for being the final villian in the end still, well maybe not final villian persay, but has the ability to be the last fight Naruto must endear to become hokage and create peace in the world.

Naw, that role belongs to Sasuke. Kaguya is there to tie up loose ends regarding sharingan and byakugan relation mentioned back in part 1. And exploring the gods and other worlds of the Narutoverse which have been brought up a few times through the series.
