What do you think it stands for?
Manga: [Homunculus]
You must have read the manga Homunculus as for some bizarre, ****ed up reason the main protagonist sips his OWN man juice in two chapters.does form represent the human body and that without your body your dead and your spirits up in heaven chillin, sippin on man juice?
Form or shape can be defined as that which stands out from the environment and is contoured by it. To put it simply that which stands out and can easily be identifiable by our primitive senses can be said to have form or shape.
Given the above I can guess that the meaning of the quote is if humans did not try to stand out or go out of the 'natural order' of the world, they would not suffer
Keep in mind I am not familiar with the piece of fiction the quote comes from.
Well, what I got out of it is the level of grasping/understanding the 'self'. The more you know yourself and you are in tune with your higher intuitions and thinking patterns, the less you identify with your physical form and that of others. Sort of the elimination of the ego and going back to a more ..Natural or childlike state of consciousness. The less you are affected by form(your appearance and that of others), the more 'light' you'll feel or in another word; 'formless'.I think form stands for a definite position, such as having clear likes
and dislikes, or a specific personality that can't be adjusted massively
to suit any occasion.
if you don't have any likes or dislikes everything is meh, so why should you
give two shits for anything that happens to you.
Never read that manga so I wouldn't know what it mean't by that quote.
You're talking about Enlightenment basically, but that's not how it goes. Entering higher states isn't about reverting, it's about understanding the world in a complete and unbiased manner; from a different perspective. Attaining peace by simply becoming passive. You must have read the manga Homunculus as for some bizarre, ****ed up reason the main protagonist sips his OWN man juice in two chapters.

I'm sure I missed Some pointe but this is just my interpretation.
Here is the chapter from which the quote came from if anyone got curious:You must be registered for see links
What exactly do you mean by 'reverting' if I may ask? If you mean what I think you did, I'd say that passiveness and elimination of the ego (to an extent) isn't that different. You're talking about Enlightenment basically, but that's not how it goes. A childlike state is one that sees through rose-tinted specs, yet that contradicts the depressed state of the man in that manga.
There's a huge difference; knowledge and understanding. They shape our very being, so the end result is quite different to the original state. In the end, the man in the manga understands a lot, but at the same time, very little. What exactly do you mean by 'reverting' if I may ask? Aah I see. I guess you're right. When it comes the psyche, it's more about wordless understanding of the self and not knowledge of it, perse.. But wouldn't gathering knowledge of higher states of consciousness from external sources help with the development/realization of the depths if your being?.. Again, in the end I don't see much difference. Or I'm still not understanding your words? There's a huge difference; knowledge and understanding. You're wrong again, do research. Einstein didn't believe in god, but just like he said about his friend that died, people like "him" know he isn't truly gone. This is because just like Einstein, other scientists have stated that they've PROVEN death is just an allusion and that you don't really die, but cant yet comprehend it. They proved it through quantum physics, at least in their mind.Take it from a non-religious aspect; when you die, your mental form disappears straight away, forever.
Because you can't think in the void that is death, you can't feel and therefore cannot suffer. You can extend the term to include the body, which generally fades to nothingness over time too, and throw the lack of ability to feel physical pain into the mix, since a dead body doesn't "feel" either.
You could put a religious spin on it, albeit after taking out undesirable possibilities like hell and reincarnation. I don't know that manga, but what I say would parallel nicely with what Homunculus is supposed to be.
Sippin on man juice? You still talking about eatin' your own nut bruh? :lol.does form represent the human body and that without your body your dead and your spirits up in heaven chillin, sippin on man juice?
Please elaborate; I'm curious. You're wrong again, do research. Einstein didn't believe in god, but just like he said about his friend that died, people like "him" know he isn't truly gone. Its hard to understand
It's about emotions. Emotions take many forms; happy, sad, mad. With forms (emotions) we can't suffer because we don't know and can't understand.Without forms, humans cannot suffer.
