Sorry I'm late (two days) I was not subscribed to this thread but I'm now. I've or I'm working on ration and yeah that would be all.Hey hey! Before we for real get started (something which will be signalled by my switch into whichever RP persona I decide to don) I know you have no previous experience in Katon. Do you have any experience in any other elements? Participated in a training session of any kind prior to this one?
I usually quote to give you a notification. Link:Okay, awesome. Would you mind linking me to that thread? After that we can begin.
P.s. Two days is not late xD unless you're going to take longer than a week, that won't really bother me. Also, you don't have to quote me in this thread... It should be just the two of us in here ^_^
Wonderful, thanksmy training will be different to that of Madara's, hopefully the change in style doesn't bother or effect you too much. My only rules, don't hold back, words are their for you to use, nothing is too much and no question too silly. Please do not feel pressure to be perfect, it is impossible for you to be so unless you allow me to help.
This site and its RP are an art in themselves, we use our character to express ourselves. I like to get a good grasp of how free you feel in yourself, my training is heavily RP based and I expect you to give as good as you get in that regard. That said... Introduce our scene.
Pick a spot in which you would like this training to place, describe it and tell me why you chose it. Introduce your character and when you're done, I'll enter scene.
Action!
Arriving at the location Lexi, or more specifically Helena Bertonelli was immediately intrigued. She always liked to allow her students to pick where they train, she felt it went a long way to show her how they viewed the element and even gave an insight into their mindset and more generally, their life. This boy had chosen to train in a bay, ocean and beach meeting grass and forest, the naturally occurring Ocean breeze blew softly through the air but although soft, it was most definately present. She took in the surroundings first then noticed him, he was small in stature and stood with purpose, his demeanor wasn't that of one eager to learn but she figured she could work with it. Aggravated, was the word she would use to describe the boy, for that's all he was, a boy.
She pulls a glistening silver arrow from her pack before setting its tip ablaze, the arrow would not go out, specially designed to stay ablaze until it was out out physically. She wanders over to the boy and hands him the arrow. Once he's taken it she speaks.
"It seems kind of insignificant does it not? It's deceptive, in plenty of ways it is exactly the opposite of what it should be. Fire is to everyone something completely different, it appeals to us all on an individual level. Stare deep into the flame, bring it close to your skin, inhale its fumes... Do whatever you wish. Tell me, how does it make you feel both inside and out? What do you see within its flickering heart? Do not hold back, dig deep."
She stands with her arms crossed, focused solely on him, trying to read his expression and mannerisms as he takes on her task.
Helena listened intently as the boy spoke, his words breathed way too much experience for someone as young as he. Her newest student had clearly experienced some things in his life, he had clearly adopted some demons and chosen a path hard to stay true too. But that is all she could manage to get from his words, for just as they started, they slipped back into just being thoughts within the childs head. Before the words, she had certainly heard his giggle, and to say it didn't bother her would be wrong. She addressed this first.
"What is it? What about me do you find so amusing? Tell me before we continue, we must be clear of mind before we progress."
With that, she turned her gaze to the flame... It was still as perfect as it had ever been, her arrows truly were a work of genius.
"Your clothes were funny to me, but I have lost that impression." Essen stared back with the expression of a mature young lad. Standing to locking this gaze onto hers. "let's continue I've fully cleared my mind". with this, he remembered his encounter to trying to go home, now the anger fueled him.She was unimpressed by the child before hers words, he spoke of what his mother said to him previous, she assumed that this must have been before he left his home to come a visit her right now. She slides her hands into her pockets and with a stern expression on her face, she speaks.
"Here, your mothers laws do not stand. Here, you listen to me, you do as I say and we get along. So please, tell me what you find amusing about my appearance. I promise we will not begin training until I believe what you say to be true. As I said before we must be clear of mind... No distractions, and whatever thoughts flew through your head upon my arrival here are a distraction not just to you, but to me."
Essen smiles but before anymore action he'd take she moves fast behind him. Heading into the fire storm's distance of heat, "I feel the intent of removing my hand and the persistence of wanting to know what is to come after. The warmth and scotch of this blaze is the similarity of hate or anger"Thanks for waiting, I may not reply again until Monday as I'm off on a mini-holiday with my dad tomorrow. It'll be back to normal from then on though.
---------------------
She gave no impression that she taken in a word he had said, her expression remained unmoved. It was a skill of hers, hiding signs of feeling, signs of life. Once he had finished, she brought the flame up to eye level and threw it at a tree away from the others so that it wouldn't spread. Once the tree had been completely engulfed, smoke rising from its every branch, she speaks.
"Now look into that. The flame is both identical to the one we used before, and the direct opposite. Walk to it, get as close as you dare walk... Then take an extra step. Close your eyes, and tell me how it feels. Tell me what you feel running through your veins, tell me the sensations that spark inside your every pore."
She draws another arrow from her back and spins round behind the boy, so quickly he barely has the chance to blink. The arrows point against his back.
"Or this is where your training ends."
Staring at the inconstant shape that emitted light and heat, growing and strengthening itself. "The flame gives birth to beginnings and resets what was. You wonder what I feel...this epitomizes the animated, force, moving things in the world. Animals, or materials are incapable of movement and full of forceful energy this element gives. For all that is known, they are primary examples of allied objects/elements. Corporeal element of this nature would be lightening, which to fire rather represents similar to our metabolism and body heat, and in the mental and emotional realms, it represents drive and passion. Katon can be associated with security, motivation, desire, intention, and an outgoing spirit. My emotions..." Essen stares at his sensei in confusion. There they were again, the emotions and feelings pulled kicking and screaming from the darkest abyss of an incomplete soul. She had to admit it was impressive, that one so young could call upon such darkness, could feel such an intense burn from a flame, but it was disappointing all the same. Pain, ash... That is not all that fire is, for every speck of darkness within a flame lies a sprinkle of brilliance. For every painful void there is a wondrous light show that emanates only beauty.
"Is that all you feel inside this flame? There is far more to fire than 'wrath', so much more prominent than hate. Is there nothing is there that screams louder than hate? Do you see no Grace is its movement? Does the heat of the flame not make you sweat in miraculous puddles of passion, do you not feel the warmth of the flames desire as it seeps through your every pore? Do you not embrace the calm within the firestorm? Do you not allow the danger to give way to the comfort of its embrace?"
She drops her blade on the ground and stands at his side, taking a deep breath and allowing a calm smile to cross her face as the flames spit, reflecting a peaceful glow upon her skin. She opens one eye.
"That glow you see on my skin, the peaceful, hell eradicating glow you may not believe is plastered all over your face just as it is mine. It is inescapable, even to the darkest of us... Do you not feel a thing?"
The red menaces of shapeless figuration streaming though him, the hot temper of his sport, ran though him and passionately he felt the enlarged. Breathing in the oxygen for the fuel, his chakra releasing though his hands, Ikiru quickly felt the burning of the paper turn from solid to ash. "Burn..." as he stared at the crumbling paper that turned to ash.She listens, as much as she wants to before she feels he is understanding what she wants him to understand. In order to reproduce what you can see, you need to be able to call upon its every flaw and perfection, be able to replicate each random movement and sensation it produces inside and outside of your being.
"Good. You're starting to look deeper. Now, take this chakra paper. Hold it between your palms and try to reproduce inside of yourself, what you see before you. Imagine the heat resonating, the colours blinding and all else that you deem noteworthy. Infuse those feelings with your chakra, and give life to the flames within yourself. Do it correctly and that paper will turn to dust."
She hands him a small piece of paper in the shape of a water droplet.
