is my previous training. Thank you for doing this!

I learned Summoning, Shadown Clone and Rasengan first because I needed it for other jutsus.
As for the rest, I did only a bit of the D rank.

I wouldn't mind starting from the beginning to make things clear. :)

Great. I think we'll do a discussion, q & a style training to make things quick and painless. You've been here a while so I'd say you have a good grasp of the basic concepts.

Sound like a fair deal?

Alright, so the journey begins!

I'll just be asking for your opinion on each jutsu, and do ask questions if you've got any. Will also give you my thoughts.

The first two are weapon-based attacks that are pretty straightforward, and the second technique has a nice element of surprise to it, though if an opponent has sensory or some dojutsu (Sharingan, etc.), they should be able to see right through it.

Temporary Body Paralysis allows you to bind a summoning, but it can be easily broken with D-rank strength or above.

(Fukumi Hari) - Hidden Needles
Rank: D
Type:Attack
Range:Short
Chakra Cost:10
Damage Points:20
Description: The user is able to call forth needles into their mouth and then spit them at their opponent with great accuracy.
(Kage Shuriken no Jutsu) - Shadow Shuriken Technique
Rank: D
Type:Attack
Range:Short-Mid
Chakra Cost:15
Damage Points:20
Description: Kage Shuriken no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing a giant Windmill Shuriken. When throwing the shuriken, the ninja will also throw a second giant shuriken to hide in the shadow of the first. The hidden secondary shuriken can then approach the target without their being aware.
(Kanashibari no Jutsu) - Temporary Body Paralysis Technique
Rank: D
Type:Supplementary
Range:Short-Mid
Chakra:15 (-5 per turn)
Damge Points:N/A
Description: Kanashibari no Jutsu is a simple Ninjutsu technique used to temporarily bind an animal (or animals). With the target frozen in place, the ninja can either take the opportunity to attack or to retreat. It can only be used against animal (summons or not) and works by forcefully using your chakra to restrain the summon physically by holding it in place. It can, however, be broken by outside means or brute force, making it less effective against bigger summons like boss summons or similar.
Note: lasts only as long as the user is focusing on the target to sustain it.

1. A very plain jutsu, but not useless. It would be nice to use this while fighting hand-to-hand in close range to create an oppening. The needles are very thin and swift and it is not easy to notice them on time to react calmy. The accuracy is good, and the opponent wouldn't use some large scale jutsu since they are close to their target and would endanger themselves, as well. You could make them use Taijutsu to dogde and move their body as it suits you for your next attack. There are similar jutsus to this in elemental Ninjutsu, however stronger. Water needles occur to me first.

2. It's cool that it has the element of surprise, but I still think that the jutsu is too weak for that to work out. I imagine that most people, when a large shuriken is being thrown at them, would use a quick attack of a higher rank to defeat both the shuriken, and to launch a counter-attack at the opponent. This would disable the hidden shuriken, as much as it does the original. I doubt that the shuriken in the shadow would endager anyone, nontheless.

3. This jutsu is good against summoned animals, but not against the large ones and bosses since they could have enough power to deal with it. That makes the jutsu pretty much unusable in our RP. If my summoning wouldn't be able to deal with this, I would perhaps direct a small part of a jutsu I use to attack my opponent towards the animal. That way it would hit it enough to break free but not enough to hurt it. However, that would be an extreme and improbable case. A huge disadvantage is that it lasts only while the user is concentrated on the animal. This makes them exposed and vulnerable.

You're right with the second two techniques; I wish they were stronger so they'd be more usable as well.

Killing Intent is the full exertion of your character's instincts and power. You'll be able to severely affect any opponent who's S-Class and lower (by posts), and at least pressure anyone of similar rank to you and up to Grim. I'd personally like the technique to be changed in terms of rank effectiveness and capability since most RPers already have substantial post counts/ranking, but for now, this is what we've got.

Of the particular strategies listed in the description, which one stands out to you in terms of usefulness, and why?

(Sakki) - Killing Intent
Rank: D - S
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: N/A
Description: Killing Intent pertains to the ability of the user giving off their pure killing intention and having it affect their opponent and others around them up to the point of paralyzing them. When the Killing Intent is particularly strong, it can even give the victim visions of their own gruesome death, nausea, pain, etc. This can cause the Killing Intent to be confused with a genjutsu, despite not being a genjutsu at all; simply a showcase of intention and power. The target will feel as if facing an overwhelming enemy and, even if not a sensor, will suddenly feel the pressure of the users chakra and its magnitude, making the effect that much more dramatic. To effectively be used, the user needs to focus on his target and concentrate on the killing intent towards it, meaning that one must see the target and be focused on it. The strength of the Killing Intent is dependent on many factors and go through several levels. If a difference in rank smaller than 2 ranks exist, the enemy will feel only the pressure and the ominous presence of their dark intentions. Its enough to lose your grasp on a weapon or stay clinched to it (depending on the situation) or even to hesitate in an attack, stumble or mess up a handseal, all depending on the situation and proximity. The effect is small and normally not that significant but can be effectively used to pressure enemies into making a mistake. If a difference of 2 ranks or more exist, the enemy will be frozen, almost unable to move as the overwhelming killing intent dominates their own conscious and riddles them with nightmarish versions of death. The paralyzation gradually weakens as time passes and can only be maintained while the user is focused on the target. The further away the target, the weaker it is and it can only fully paralyze a target within short range. Similarly, the more targets one focuses on, the weaker the effect is in each one (divinding the effects equally between the number of targets). Lastly, the stronger the user is in relation to the target, the stronger the effect will be. The target can counter Killing Intent directed at it through pain, "mind cleansing" techniques or their own Killing Intent.
Note: Intensity of technique depends on the rank of the user, distance to target and number of targets one is focusing on
Note: Can only be used once
Note: Lasts only while the user is focusing on it and while focusing on it the user can't mold chakra

I think that this jutsu is the most useful when fighting in short range and exchanging quick attacks with your opponent. You could look them in the eyes in the perfect moment to make them tremble or lose concentration even for a second. The impact of this jutsu is not long term, is weak on greater dstances, and most ninjas in our RP would be able to quickly dismiss it. However, when fighting close to your enemy, even that one moment of losing concentration can be proven deadly for you if they manage to strike with a good and swift counter-attack. One can stop hand seals and Taijutsu and Kenjutsu moves.

Excellent! You expressed exactly what I was thinking as well.

These two techniques have one thing in common: they use a multitude/swarm of small objects (debris? The word is escaping me here...) as a visual precursor to the effects of the technique. In BUtM's case, cherry blossom petals appear prior to causing confusion and blindness. CBSST utilizes a plethora of explosive notes to cause a cascading, chain-reaction explosion.

(Ninpou: Gekka Bijin) - Ninja Arts: Beauty Under the Moonlight
Rank: D
Type:Supplementary
Range:Short
Chakra Cost:10
Damage Points:N/A
Description: The user will create a swarm of sakura(cherry blossoms)petals to surround there opponents and swirl around them causing confusion. The user can then attack there opponent from any angle they choose.Blinds opponents eyes for the turn this jutsu is used.
(Sakura Fubuki no Jutsu) - Cherry Blossom Snow Storm Technique
Rank: D
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 10
Damage Points: 20
Description: The user will hurl kunai with pouches attached at their target. Upon impact, the pouches explode, releasing small explosive notes. Due to the large number of kunai thrown, a shower of notes will rain down on the target. The user will then throw one final kunai with an active explosive note at the target. It will begin to burn, and by igniting the falling smaller notes it will cause a gigantic explosion.

I think that the second jutu is better. The range of the first one is short and I feel like the pettals wouldn't be able to surroud the opponent in time to blind them. You still have to be concetrated on controlling the petals and your opponent could make a fast move, coming right through the petals and catching you unprepared. The petals can obviously be countered with a weak elemental jutsu, if necesarry. I would perhaps use this to move the fight into longer ranges.

The second jutsu goes up to mid range. It is also very easy to defend against it. I would use a Fire jutsu to counter it because it would devour the kunais or the explosion, if it comes to that. Defending with Wind is also good because it would either stop the paper from burning, or stop the explosions from coming at you. Also, it takes some time to throw all this kunais and the final one in the end needs to burn up. Stopping the attack before the final phase should not be a problem.

Use that wind technique to turn the explosive notes against their user!

Here are some stealth-based ninjutsu techniques, one which relies on misdirection and trickery to fool your opponent, and the other relying on pure... stealth.

For the first technique, think of a combination you'd use it with, and for the second technique, say I was able to disappear from your field of view and used this to sneak up behind you for the kill. How would you counter it?

(Utsusemi no Jutsu) - Empty Cicada Shell Technique
Rank: D
Type:Supplementary
Range:Short-Long
Chakra Cost: 10
Damage Points:N/A
Description: Forming the needed hand seal Ram, a shinobi can project his voice to a different area to hide their location and the number of allies at their side. It is an excellent complement to stealth tactics.
(Muon Satsujin Jutsu) - Silent Homicide Technique
Rank: D
Type:Attack
Range:Short-Mid
Chakra Cost:10
Damage Points:20
Description: Muon Satsujin Jutsu, the ability to commit a silent homicide, is a technique to dispatch your foe with no warning. Your quick speed and skills will instantly kill them before they can provide a defense. Best tactic is when used with Hidden Mist jutsu. The technique works by having the user focus his chakra and his complete attention on moving fluidly, rapidly but muffling any sound he may make while moving as well as his presence, etc. It doesn't suppress his chakra or hides it but it can make the opponent virtually undetected if he manages to get on the opponents blind spot.

The first jutsu is not all that bad. It would be nice to use it to hide my location (if I suceed in making my opponent lose sight of me, in the first place) and secretly conduct my attack while they are concentrated on the wrong place. What I think is important for this one is that I don't use a projectile-type jutsu to attack ritgh away (or the ones that come from my body or near me and go towards the opponent) since that would reveal my location. I think it would be the smartest thing to quickly use a jutsu which emerges from bellow my target. Then they would defend from that and try to launch a counter-attack towards the wrong side, which would be a perfect opportunity for me to strike.

I should be able hear my opponent when they get behind my back and go for the actual killing. All my senses would be hightend (especially hearing) and I could hear the air distrubance and their last body movement. I would then perhaps use a quick rotating Taijutsu attack, or some Earth spears to appear without me even turning back. That should catch them unprepared.

Interesting thought about Silent Homicide, though I'd say you need to be able to provide proper reasoning as to why you'd use the counters you listed. Using a technique is one part of the RP, but in reality, your justification and technical ability will ultimately be the things that win battles.

Here are two pretty basic weapon techniques. Makibishis are like 'Jacks', those little spiked toys kids play with. Except these ones hurt a lot more.

The Shadow Rope technique can be broken with anything greater than D-rank strength. Would again prefer a stronger version of this.

Questions, Thoth?

(Kage Makibishi no Jutsu) - Shadow Makibishi Technique
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 10
Description: A simple ninja technique in which the user deploys a smoke bomb and is used to lay down the makibishi undercover so that the enemy target will not notice. This technique is used to cause some damage and slow the enemy target down when they stand on them.
(Kage Nawa no Jutsu) - Shadow Rope Technique
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 10
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user will use a black rope infused with their chakra to hold down and trap their opponent.

Haze clones are created with the same principle as any other clone, though they can't attack. One major advantage they have is that they can be formed up to long-range from yourself, opening up different tactical options.

Knowing this... I would personally combine genjutsu with Haze Clones. If you did the same thing I did, which *specific* genjutsu would you try it with, and how + why?

(Oboro Bunshin no Jutsu) – Haze Clone Technique
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Long
Chakra cost: 10
Damage N/A
Description: Haze clone technique is like the regular clone technique in creating intangible clones, although these clones will let the enemy go through them without being dispelled or released. Dojutsu can see through these clones as unlike Shadow Clones, they are intangible and lack any form of chakra circulatory system, chakra flow, etc; they are simple images made by chakra. They cannot do harm to any enemy but can be used to communicate and distract the enemies. The clones can be created anywhere within the users sensory field.

The first thing that came to my mind was using this substitution Genjutsu. My substitution would completely blend in with the haze clones. Both the clones and substitution can talk and my copies would cover a really large area, completely surrounding the enemy and thus confusing them. It would not be easy for the enemy to hit my Genjutsu clone and discover my location, which gives me a lot of time for a sneaky attack. The whole thing would be ineffective against sensory and Dojutsu, but that's okay, I wouldn't use it against them. A really nice combo!

(Genjutsu: Kawarimi ) Illusion Technique: Substitution
Type: Defensive
Rank: D-B Rank
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 10-20
Damage: N/A
Description:
A simple technique, this genjutsu works solely as a defensive measure. The user will produce an illusionary copy of himself while he escapes the path/area of the attack with a rapid movement, unnoticed and masked by the technique. The enemy will see and hear the user in the original place until the attack connects with the illusionary copy, at which point it will disperse, revealing the true location of the user. The technique can be controlled so as to have the illusionary copy interact and talk in specific ways with the enemy for other purposes, while the user remains hidden from the targets perception. The illusion is often personalized from user to user, namely in its dispersion, sometimes in relation to the users elemental affinity or summoning companions, following a theme unique to him. The limitation is that the user cannot escape large techniques with this ability nor incredibly fast ones, since the escape is his movement and, as such, is limited to small scaled attacks or normal paced ones. Only techniques which can be escaped by moving out of their way running or through movement can be defended from with this. The main limit however, is that, since its a sustainable illusion, triggering any offensive action towards the target will immediately release the illusion, be it a simple taijutsu move or a ninjutsu attack; any aggressive action the user wants to take will immediately break his focus and control over the technique, releasing the target from it. The stronger the user is with the usage of Genjutsu, the more effective and strong the illusion will be and more times can it be used.
Note: This version can only be used by ninjas without a Sharingan.
Note: Genjutsu users can use the technique thrice per match, D-Rank; Secondary Genjutsu Specialists can use the technique four times per match, C-Rank; Primary Genjutsu Specialists can use the technique five times per match; B-Rank.
Note: Movement speed is bound by the users rank.

I LOVE IT! Great insight; you act BOTH defensively and offensively.

So... the last three D-ranks are weapon-based. The first one enlarges a thrown shuriken, the second technique is basically useless because it be done freeform (though perhaps one advantage is that the kunais have ranked strength), and the last one... do you remember when in the anime/manga it was used? Bonus points for the right answer U_U

(Ninpo: Kyojin Shuriken no Jutsu) - Ninja Art: Giant Shuriken Technique
Rank: D
Type: Offensive, Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 10
Damage points: 20
Description: The user throws a Demon Wind Shuriken towards the enemy and uses his chakra to massively enlarge the shuriken, brutally striking the enemy, sending them flying.
(Ninpo: Kakuu no mai ) - Ninja Art: Aerial Dance
Rank: D
Type: Offensive
Range: short - mid
Chakra cost: 10
Damage points: 20
Description: The user will release several barrages of kunai at their opponent.
(Sōshuriken no Jutsu) - Manipulated Shuriken Techique
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 15
Description: With this technique a translucent string, both elastic and highly durable, is attached to a shuriken, making it possible to alter its path after having thrown it. An expert will have the ability to freely glide the shuriken in any direction with just a single movement of their fingertip. The first attack, challenging the enemy, is avoided and after a time-lag of several seconds, it will come from behind. Depending on the performance, the possible tactics can be infinite.

Just a small commentary on the jutsus. The first is only a large shuriken, but it would be cool to enlarge it right before it gets to the target and surprise them (probably wouldn't get that far, though). The second, as you've sad, can be done freeform, but this has ranked strength. The last one is not half bad. It requires no chakra and leaves a lot of space to use it how you wish and as long as you wish. Perhaps the best use would be leading your opponent into a trap.

Yes, I remember it from Naruto! When Sasuke was fighting Orchimaru in the forest, during the Chuunin exams. He managesd to tie him to a tree and thus immobilize him, making him vulnerable to his Fire jutsu. :p

Hooray, bonus points for you! *sprinkles representative objects of the metaphysical concept of points upon your body*

C-ranks. The first one is a simple supplementary technique that allows the user to hide an explosive tag in an object. Hide these in weapons, summons, solid elemental techniques, and you can produce 'special surprises' for your foes.

(Fuda Kakusu no Jutsu) Tag Hidding Technique
Type: Supplementary
Rank: C-Rank
Range: Short
Chakra: 5 (per tag)
Damage: N/A
Description:
The user will use his chakra to hide a paper tag inside an inanimate object, like the ground or a wall. The tag can be a sealing tag or an explosive tag. The technique can be used to hide more than one tag per use if the user spends more chakra. Hidden tags can be detected by doujutsu or expert sensory ninjas.

I love this! It's so simple, elegant and doesn't require much chakra or effort but can be a great enhancement for your weapons, especially projectiles. The explotions are always great for distracting and creating an opening, especially with objects that aren't supposed to explode. I would love to combine this with Earth jutsus, as well.

One question, though: do you have to make direct contact with the object you're putting in the tag/s?

I would say that the object that you intend to hide the tag in should be within short-range of you, so maybe not necessarily direct contact, but a MAXIMUM 5 meters away. The technique is performed by channeling chakra into the tag and 'fusing' it with the object, so it MAY not be out of the question to have the tag 'float' or 'go toward' said object as long as it's within short range. Don't quote me on this, but I like to think that would a creative usage of the jutsu.

Going to dump a bunch of scroll/weapon summoning-based techniques here. All of them have pretty simple performances and similar principles in their methods of performance, but note each of their quirks. Which one is your favorite of these six, and why? Also, of the six, which one do you find the most useful (and why)?

(Soryu no Mai) - Rising Dragon Dance
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user jumps up in the air and then spins at high speed throwing a lot of weapons at thier enemy ranging from shuriken, kunai, shuko and many various other weapons.
(Sōgu: Shikyū Geki) - Manipulated Tools: Deadly Spheres Strike
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Desciption: The user pulls out a scroll and rotates it around himself. Many spiked metal balls burst forth from the scroll to strike any nearby opponents or discourage them from using close ranged attacks.
(Sōgu: Fūjin Heki) - Manipulated Tools: Floating Blades Wall
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user unrolls in the floor under the enemy two small scrolls and summons many different weapons from them, taking the enemy into the air. Then they wraps the leg of the enemy with a chain and crushes him back down to the ground.
(Sōgu: Dai Tekkai) - Manipulated Tools: Giant Iron Lump
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description:The user takes out a big scroll and waves it in a circle. It turns into a giant chain hammer with a huge metal ball at the end that they then crushes the enemy with. After this move, the chain hammer turns back into a scroll.
(Sōgu: Shu Senjin) - Manipulated Tools: One Thousand Blades Attack
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: This technique is very similar to Twin Rising Dragons, but in this version the user only summons countless kunai from the scrolls, which are connected by strings at thier hands. They then throws all the kunai at the same time on the opponent.
(Kuchiyose: Tetsurensa Housou) - Summoning: Iron Chain Wrapping
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
description: The user summons a long chain from a scroll and wraps the enemy with it. When the enemy is trapped, they use another scroll to launch a rain of weapons at the enemy.
