Littlefinger sits idly on a concrete bench waiting for the man who was to meet him here. The day was young and the air was cool. In the meadow where he sat, he could see the blades of the grass still fresh with dew still clinging to them. He peered into the sparsely populated forest and caught sight of a stag. The same stag that had been staring at him since he arrived thirty minutes ago. It reminded him of the sigil of the house Baratheon. His mind kept drifting through different thoughts as he waited patiently.

Walking in from quite a ways away, the opposite direction from the meadow, Mystogan slowly made his way to the man who was sitting, waiting for him. As he arrived, he remained silent for a moment as he looked at the man, before speaking.
So you have come asking me to teach you the art of Ninjutsu? I hope you understand that first I must ensure that your knowledge is sufficient to comprehend what we shall be doing. So I shall be needing you to answer my questions, as best you can, before we may begin.
First, Ninjutsu is based out of an energy known as "Chakra". What is chakra? And please, don't be sparse in your explanation.
Secondly, I want you to think about what Ninjutsu actually is. At one end of the spectrum of fighting styles, we have Taijutsu - Body Techniques - which utilizes hand-to-hand combat and physical fighting. At the other end of the same spectrum, we have Genjutsu - Illusionary Techniques - which utilizes illusions and the tricking of one's mind; "mental fighting". Where does Ninjutsu fit on the spectrum? What exactly does Ninjutsu encompass, and what do you expect to learn through this training - both specifically (ie. techniques) and generally (ie. how to utilize chakra without nature manipulation).
Third, describe all you know about Shape Manipulation. There may be a few things that go along with this concept, which you may also talk about.
Finally, you may address anything I didn't require of you which you deem of importance, and you may also ask any and all questions you may have at this moment. Questions are important, as it demonstrates that you are considering how to apply different techniques and/or concepts, as well as that if helps you fully understand something which you may have been struggling with beforehand.

When you are finished, we will begin with a few exercises.

Lost permissibly within the limitless ocean of thoughts that was his mind, Lord Baelish is snapped back to reality at the sound of the man's voice. Tilting his head slightly to the left, he catches a glimpse of the man speaking, via his peripheral. He stands uprightly, stretches out the creases on his expensive brown-coloured doublet and turns around to face the man with a courteous smile underneath his trimmed moustache.

So you have come asking me to teach you the art of Ninjutsu?

If it's not too much of an inconvenience. Yes, my lord.

I hope you understand that first I must ensure that your knowledge is sufficient to comprehend what we shall be doing. So I shall be needing you to answer my questions, as best you can, before we may begin.

Oh, by all means.

First, Ninjutsu is based out of an energy known as "Chakra". What is chakra? And please, don't be sparse in your explanation.

Apparently, this said chakra is a form of energy which has the potential to exist in everyone. Potential because not everyone is able to mould their physical and spiritual energies together, and this is what needs to be done in order to create chakra. Those who are able to create chakra(mainly shinobi), have a kind of circulatory system which channels the flow of chakra within them to various points and parts in their body, similar to how blood circulatory system works. The points are known as tenketsu and they are the outlets through which chakra exits the body for use in performing jutsu. Yes, with chakra, ninjutsu and genjutsu can be performed, and some taijutsu can be enhanced.

Chakra is not visible to normal eyes but in certain situations it can be. Some techniques can cause this, example the rasengan; or people with enormous amounts of chakra can release it through the tenketsu points. To gain larger chakra reserve, one must first increase their physical and spiritual energies. For the physical, bodily training will help achieve this; and for the spiritual, studying and mental training. By moulding these two increased energies, increased chakra is attained. This is permanent but temporary ways of getting a chakra boost exist. Such as absorbing chakra from nonliving and living things(humans inclusive) or activating chakra boosting modes. Chakra is unique to every person just like the DNA, and the only similarities are between close blood relatives.

To answer these questions, I'd like to analyse in ninjutsu, taijutsu and genjutsu thus: Imagine a scenario where I want to stop my opponent from moving. I can do this in 3 ways using taijutsu, genjutsu and ninjutsu respectively.
I can physically subdue my opponent using any part of my body that will work. This is TAIJUTSU.
I can put my opponent in an illusion, mentally stripping him of the ability to move. This is GENJUTSU.
I can channel my chakra beneath my opponent, manipulate the earth structure and cause it to turn into sticky mud, preventing him from moving. This is NINJUTSU.
This shows that taijutsu are normal fits that almost any human can achieve with their physical strength and skill. Genjutsu are mind tricks and boils down to the users imagination, doing things that are to an extent impossible to carry out physically. Ninjutsu, however, is the balance between both. It brings the physicality of taijutsu and the properties of genjutsu together, in the sense that with ninjutsu the impossible becomes possible and the surreal becomes real. For instance, a person cannot create a clone of themself with the use of their taijutsu prowess. And although with genjutsu they can trick an opponent's mind into believing that a clone is created, the clone doesn't come into existence. Only with ninjutsu can such a feat be accomplished.

Ninjutsu, encompasses techniques that enable the user to perform feats that are normally impossible.

During the course of this training, I expect to learn techniques that will allow me transform myself, create varying types of objects formed using chakra, manipulate existing objects in the form of control, size, replication, etc, evade attacks with the use of my chakra, shape manipulation, etc.
Examples of such techniques include:
(Kage Bunshin no Jutsu) - Shadow Clone Technique
(Hiru Banshō: Bōka no Jutsu) - Leech All Creation: Attack Prevention Technique
(Meisaigakure no Jutsu) - Hiding with Camouflage Technique
(Shuriken Kage Bunshin no Jutsu) - Shuriken Shadow Clone Jutsu
(Kenboushou Jutsu) - Loss of Memory Technique
(Sakki) - Killing Intent

Generally, this training should teach me how to use my chakra while applying only shape manipulation. In other to do this, I would have to focus on manipulating and controlling the mold, movement and strength of my chakra without giving it any elemental properties.

Third, describe all you know about Shape Manipulation. There may be a few things that go along with this concept, which you may also talk about.

Shape manipulation of chakra obviously revolves around the word shape. The shaping of one's chakra affects a lot of things about a technique. The speed, the size, the power, the use, the range, the motion pattern are all affected by shape manipulation. For example, if I shape my chakra like a normal-sized egg and then like an egg as big as a van and fire both techniques, there will be differences in them.
The normal egg will have a small size, higher speed, farther range, less destructive power/damage rather a more precise one, offensive nature and linear motion.
The van-sized egg will have a larger size, slower speed, lesser range, destructive damage, offensive nature and linear motion. Most ninjutsu techniques when looked at critically show that shape manipulation plays a vital role in their execution and completion.
Basic shape manipulation processes are seen in the water walking and tree climbing exercises ninjas are thought early in their lives. And more complex manipulation is seen in the Rasengan. This technique call for rotating and simultaneously compressing one's chakra as they gather it on their palm, thereby forming a sphere of highly pressured chakra.

At this moment, I have just one question. When an RPer says in the description of a move that they focus chakra in a location away from their body (like above, below, around their opponent), is it that the chakra travels to that location or that it simply happens in that location (like the amaterasu)?
Depending on your answer, I will also like to know if the time it takes to gather chakra has any major effect on the timeframe of the execution of a technique.
