Tobi sat atop a roof as he observed his student, watching his body language to try and determine what type of student he will be, it was difficult though as he knew better than any1 that looks can be deceiving. He dusted off the dust that got onto his robe as he stood up and leapt off the roof and onto the ground. Once he landed, he channeled his Earth chakra into the ground to turn the area below him into fine grains of sand that he began digging through as he made his way towards his student. Emerging silently from the ground behind his student, he grabbed his legs and pulled him into the ground so only his head would be sticking out as Tobi emerged completely.
Looking at his student as only his head stuck out of the ground, he spoke, "I am Tobi and I will teaching you how to control the most destructive element, Lightning. So what is your name and what do you know of the Lightning element? Also you will be stuck there till I say you can get out."

Having no idea what just happened, Netero saw a tall shadowy figure in front of, he patiently waited for whst the man had to say. After hearing the response Netero's reacted by saying Oh for f*** sakes.... wishing that his arms were free so he could facepalm, but instead he followed his sensei's method.
Lightning is one of the 5 basic elemental nature transformation, it is known for its piercing damage, fast movement and paralysis, leaving the opponent vunerable for a final blow, lightning can also be infused with sharp weapons. However when it is produced, without physical contact it is far slower than natural lightning, giving the opponent time to react.
Lightning's weakness is wind since it's a natural insulator, and is strong againts earth since it can travel and break through it easily.
KG that involves lightning are
Explosion release which is lightning + earth
Storm release which is lightning + water.

The perfect example of this is the Rasengan, its considered shape manipulation at the highest level, the user spins his chakra rapidly in various directions while condensing it at the same time to shape into a sphere."

Okay, so I'm going to throw several small weapons that are composed of earth at you, I want you to raise your hand so that your palm is facing me and focus your Raiton chakra (by using Nature Manipulation) into your palm, then I want you to release that chakra in the shape of several bolts (by using Shape Manipulation) towards the weapons to destroy them.
Key Points: This is a fairly simple jutsu but I should probably point out a few things that are worth remembering. The first thing is that this is a projectile technique which means once you have released it, you can move onto another technique, now the other important part is that you can release multiple bolts of lightning instead of a single bolt but there's a catch to it, every extra bolt you create decreases the power of the others in order to even it out.

Okay, so I'm going to throw several small weapons that are composed of earth at you, I want you to raise your hand so that your palm is facing me and focus your Raiton chakra (by using Nature Manipulation) into your palm, then I want you to release that chakra in the shape of several bolts (by using Shape Manipulation) towards the weapons to destroy them.
Key Points: This is a fairly simple jutsu but I should probably point out a few things that are worth remembering. After hearing his sensei's instruction, Netero first dusted off the dirt on his clothes and stared at Obito for few seconds, he would then raise his hand until his palm would face his sensei. Concentrating on the chakra on his right hand, Netero used nature manipulation to increase it's high frequency and vibration. Immediately sparks of lightning would appear, when Netero saw the small weapons being thrown, he would straight away visualise a bolt of lightning and using shape manipulation to create it. Shooting a small bolt of lightning at each weapon.

This technique is pretty straightforward, I want you to channel Raiton chakra into your dominant hand and then slam your palm onto the ground, upon making contact with the ground, you will release the built up chakra as a surge of lightning that you will manipulate and direct towards my clone which should shock him and cause him to disperse.
Key Points: There's not much to add about this jutsu, the most notable things to remember is this can only travel up to short range and that your hand needs to maintain contact with the ground throughout the jutsu or it will disperse.
