Rising out of the murky lagoon before you, the cloaked man soaking wet slowly drags his feet in your direction, weary from a tiresome battle. Placing his right hand in front of his chest, he begins to manipulate the water his clothes absorbed, pulling his hand away from his body to signify the extraction of moisture, forming that same liquid into a sphere of condensed water and tossing it towards you.

Think fast. Now, tell me all you know of Water Release.

Netero sees an unusal figure approaching him slowly leaving a trail of water behind him, all Netero could think of is if the poor man was sweating or not, this left him distracted, and was rudely interrupted after hearing the persons demands and witnessing a huge ball of water that was gradually growing right infront of him.

Water release is of the 5 basic elemental chakra, and is known for being an offensive type. You can use your chakra to manipulate water around you or create it by turning your chakra into water. You can also change its shape and state by making it more solid, just like that thing you threw at me. It's known for being an offensive type for it's brute force that it exerts, causing internal damage.

It's weakness is earth since it can dissipate its force, and is strong against fire because it can extinguish the flames.
Oh and if that is sweat you will be number 1 in my soloing li-gets hit by the water ball

Kisame listens attentively to his students recollection of Water release, taking note that his student has seen a few battles or has done some research. When Netero gets hit by the ball of water, he allows himself to smirk.

"Heh. Not bad. Your current level knowledge on Suiton is something to work with. I'll give you a run down of all of the basic elements (especially Suiton), to flesh out your understanding. Make sure to commit this to memory, it will be useful knowledge for the future. Once you've read and understood the following, we will continue. By the way...aren't you a little old to be learning the basics?"

Water is the most calm and free-flowing elements. These characteristics dictate its nature, making it useful in combat due to the fluidity and intense lack of control that is required to utilize it. Lightning and Fire take extreme control, but manipulation of water takes calmer movements and so controlling it comes more naturally. While its the calmest element, it can also become one of the most destructive. Putting a large amount of force behind of wave gives it power that can't be paralleled by all the other elements. In terms of scale, Water has the highest potential to be the "best" element, a clear testament of this is Kisame of the Akatsuki (aka me). Water comes in three main forms: normal water, sticky water and oily flammable water. As you correctly stated, Water is strong against Fire as it forcibly extinguishes the flames, whilst it is weak against earth and similar solid elements, since they both block and dissipate Suiton attacks.

Earth Release is often considered the element of sturdiness and durability. Unlike other elements which come and go with time, it is an ever eternal presence in the environment which endures all types of weather regardless of how harsh conditions become. Earth can be used as a shield or blockade defensively to dissipate the force of powerful waves of water or non-cutting gusts of wind. It can withstand great heats, acting as a heat sink but also as a physical barrier to prevent weapons passing through. Its strong against water, its natural ability to prevent water from passing through it whilst passing through water itself is a reason for this. However its weak against lightning. The lightning conducted along the earth causes it to break up, lose its natural composition and break down due to the penetrative abilities of Raiton. Doton can either be used in this solid rocky form or its adhesive mud-like variant, granting the element further versatility. As well as the conventional uses of the element, the mud variant can be used to bind opponents in place, clash with other elemental jutsus or be used in many effective combinations. The mud-variant is most commonly used along with Fire to form pseudo-lava (molten mud), making for a very dangerous substance.

Along with Suiton, its versatility stems from the state of matter it naturally occurs in. Due to having physical substance, Doton can be shaped into various structures from defensive walls to jagged spikes, from an earth dragon to a single pillar of earth. Furthermore, in terms of terrain-based advantage, Doton can be used to manipulate the ground beneath and around the opponent, allowing for limitless potential in creating successful combos. I like to think of the element as the perfect balance between offensive, defensive and supplementary usage, as no confines exist on what the user can create.

Wind Release is the element that allows us to create and manipulate wind. When you think of wind you think of something that is fast, free flowing, unpredictable, and strong. In the Narutoverse and in our RP, wind release has a variety of different properties which makes it versatile in its own right. For one, we have the ability to create long and short powerful gusts of flowing wind. Mainly these techniques that are designed to provide resistance against oncoming attacks, reversing the trajectory of weaponry, etc. We can also create short concentrated/compressed bursts of wind that give a pseudo solid form which can be used for blunt force or strong impacts. These would mainly be offensive in nature. There is also vacuum or suction power that can be generated, drawing objects in for close combat or sucking away the oxygen for suffocation. However, one of the more prominent abilities of wind release that we’ve come to know from the Narutoverse is the powerful cutting power that it possesses. Mainly from characters like Naruto, Asuma, and Sora, the wind nature has been shown to be able to slice and cut through things like butter. Wind is the movement of many gases in the air, though we’ve been shown to manipulate just the air itself and call it wind release by comparison due to the relationship. (Credits to Scorps, Reborn and Lili-Chwan)

Lightning Release is the use of high frequency and is the most fleeting of all the elements. It arguably takes the most control due to its dangerous nature and the lethality it possess. The interaction of the molecules within it, further contribute to its level of instability, requiring the user to take much more care in handling this element compared to the others. Fundamentally, its the control over raw streams of electricity which can be tamed with the right control, it relates most to the Fire element due to its destruction if not contained or used properly and the high level of self-control someone requires to manipulate it correctly. One common misconception is that Lightning release travels as fast as natural lightning, when in reality Lightning is far slower than its naturally occurring counterpart due the user taking control of/taming the lightning. The element itself occurs in three main forms: Normal Lightning, Plasma and pale-blue pillars which emit electricity.

Fire Release is the usage of superheated chakra to create flames and heat-intensive attacks. Its created through channeling Katon chakra to the user's lungs and exhaling the built chakra in various forms. Katon is most commonly used in its fire-based form, but it can also take the shape of a plume of superheated ash or a misty flammable gas. In terms of raw potential, its considered the least versatile element as it excels in offensive capabilities, lacks in supplementary usage and is ill-suited to use as a defensive element. Despite this, Katon is the most ferocious element to contend with due to its sheer raw power. The heat of the element makes it capable of reducing earthen structures to molten mud, the parasitic nature of it means it preys on the oxygen within wind-based attacks to supplement the flames and even against its elemental superior, large-scale Katon techniques are capable of reducing large bodies of water to scorching mist of dense steam. The Katon element has little usage outside of destruction, to a certain degree its the hardest elemental nature to tame due to its sporadic and uncontrollable nature.

Just a tip. You should colour whatever your character is saying or at least put it in quotation marks.
Alright, come over here and place your outstretched palms upon the surface of this water source. After you do that, begin focusing your suiton chakra into it, before using that same chakra to generate a small wave of water, sending it towards a nearby tree. Once you become more acquainted with this technique, try to extract a sphere of water, aiming to maintain its form and structure, before stabilizing it and placing it back into the water source. This technique can also be used without a water source so try to release small blasts of water from your body while making punching motions towards my clone.

(Suiton No Jutsu) - Water technique
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary/Attack/Defence
Range: Short-Mid
Damage Points:20
Description: Creates small waves of water, small blasts, and small shields of water.
Note: Doesn't require a water source but can be used to manipulate existing water.

Key Points: Alongside its Earth counterpart, it is among the most useful lower ranking techniques in the jutsu list. Its versatility is seemingly infinite, as this technique can create nearly any water-based construct you desire, as long as its small in magnitude and size. Its best used for making waves, small tools, weapons ad shields.

(Kirigakure No Jutsu) - Hidding in Mist Jutsu
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Long
Chakra Cost: 10
Damage Points: N/A
Description: This displacement technique creates a thick mist to spring forth by lifting up some water from either a pre-existing source or expelled from their mouth, then goes in and out of sight at will from within the pearly-white realm. The mist's thickness is controlled by the amount of chakra kneaded into it. It can't fool the Byakugan, but, due to the mist being created with the user's chakra, any Sharingan and Rinnegan-user will see the mist coloured by their opponent's chakra, which will effectively hide the user from the dōjutsu.
Note: Can be created through releasing from mouth or manipulating a nearby water source.

Once you've completed that, I'd like you to come over and begin channeling your suiton chakra into your lungs, building up a sufficient amount of it before releasing it from your mouth in the form of a thick chakra-inufsed mist. The mist will mask your position, allowing you to move more stealthily but it will deprive you of your sense of sight, making this a very double-edged sword.

Instead of giving you Key points for this jutsu, I'd like you to tell me everything you can infer from this jutsu, tactics you/others could employ with it as well as the strengths and weaknesses of this jutsu.

Also, you are free to ask any questions you may have.

After he heard his sensei's instructions, he then placed both his hands flat on the waters surface. While doing this he closed his eyes, and took a deep breath in and out, focusing on the chakra inside of him he channeled his chakra to his hands, and later emitting them into the water. While Netero was concentrating he would create small ripples on the water's surface from his hands which would then turn into small waves. He opened his eyes and picked the nearest tree to be his target, immediately he woul send a small wave towards it.

For the next technique Netero would do channel his chakra to one of hands place it flat on the surface, closing his eyes and thinking of a smooth sphere object emerging out of the water, while following the palm of his hand as the distance between his hand and the water source grew. Immediatly he would do what he imagined and the exact same thing happened, as if it was deja vu. Netero would look at the, he clenched his fist and did the punching motion his sensei instructed to.

Now for the Second jutsu Netero concentrated on his lungs and channeled his chakra through the circulatory system and into his lungs. He would then take a deep breath in and using his suiton chakra he would fill with moist thick air, Netero would follow this up by breathing out the mist that he made and soon covered his surroundings with mist

Jutsu 1
Weakness is i believe is its size, it won't do much if its against a larger jutsu nd obviously Earth.

Strength is that it can cancel out most earth jutsu.

I will probably use this technique if want to save chakra and cancel out other jutsu with it, and probably save the big for last. just a thought.

Jutsu 2

Weakness is that you won't be able to see much of your surroundings especially against a dojutsu user

Strength is that your opponent will lose sight of you

I will probably use this technique if I need to retreat or go into hiding and look for an opening to attack

Important note: As part of my training style, I might use, post or reference techniques you may not necessarily be learning. For example, the jutsu below (Abyss of the Leviathan) is a custom technique and it isn't something you will be learning. I'll explicitly state which techniques you'll be learning/performing.
After you immerse yourself in your own technique, Kisame focuses his suiton chakra into the man-made mist in order to overpower the chakra within your technique. Through shape manipulation, he forms portions of the surrounding mist into countless grotesque sea serpent-like creatures which appear to be "swimming" around inside of the mist itself. These hideous creatures are blind by nature, however they're capable of sensing anything (whether or not it possess chakra) in direct contact with the mist. Furthermore, these creatures exhibit certain but limited chakra draining qualities and so every time they make contact with Netero, he feels some of his strength drained from him. Despite his inability to see his newest disciple, Kisame can imagine the look of terror on his face as the leviathans stroke past him.

Don't worry, they won't bite...unless I tell them to. I didn't create these merely to scare you but it is the main reason I did it. I want you to direct your attention to the fact that I took control of your technique. Your mist was a very low-ranking technique and so as long as I input/expended more chakra into it, I was capable of overpowering your chakra and harnessing the produced mist for myself. Your mist was a D-Rank and so it contained 10 chakra points. As long as I used at least a C-Rank or anything with more than ten points of chakra, your technique would have been overpowered. That is a key weakness of structural type-elements such as Earth and Water though its mostly a weakness of the latter. Any questions on this?

(Suiton: Fuchi no Watatsumi Hebi) - Water Release: Abyss of the Leviathan
Rank: S
Type: Supplementary/Offensive
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 40 (-10 chakra per turn)
Damage points: N/A (80 damage if used to attack the opponent)
Description: The user will perform two handseals before focusing their chakra into a technique-produced mist. Through shape manipulation, the user will form portions of the surrounding mist into countless grotesque sea serpent-like creatures which appear to be "swimming" around inside of the mist itself. These hideous creatures are blind by nature, however they're capable of sensing anything (whether or not it possess chakra) in direct contact with the mist. Furthermore, these creatures exhibit certain but limited chakra draining qualities (Similar to Water Release: Grudge Rain Technique), so as long as the opponent remains in contact with the creatures they'll gradually be depleted of chakra (50 chakra per turn). Whenever the user wishes to, he can command the swarm to converge on the opponent from all sides in a furious feeding frenzy with such ferocity that the surrounding mist will begin to boil and churn, before being stained by the crimson blood. Despite the viciousness of the attack, the sea serpents are more than mindful not to harm their creator in the slightest.

Note: Lasts for three turns
Note: Can only be used twice per battle
Note: Can only be used by Kirigakure Shinobi
Note: No Water Release above A-Rank in the user's next turn.

You must be registered for see images

All correct, except your comments on Hiding in Mist. The Sharingan cannot see through the mist, neither can the Rinnegan, only the Byakugan can. This is because the sharingan allows you to see raw chakra, since the mist is chakra-infused it masks anything behind/inside of it. However, the Byakugan possess x-ray like abilites, allowing the wielder to see through the mist directly and pinpoint anything/anyone inside. That being said, this is a good tactic for a Byakugan user.

(Suiton: Mizu Kuri No Yaiba)- Water Style: Sword of Draining
Rank: D
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 10
Damage Points: 20
Description: A technique that utilizes water to create a sword. The sword can be wielded in the normal fashion, allowing the ninja to cut and stab like with a normal blade.
Note: Doesn't require a water source.

Now, I'd like you to step away from the water source and place your partly open hand out (as if you're wielding the hilt of a sword), before focusing your suiton chakra into air around that point. Utilizing your suiton chakra, you will generate a makeshift sword composed of water in the empty space in your hand. After creating the sword, I'd like you to toss it into the distance, before furiously chasing after it, attempting to over take it.

Key Points: None really, its a very basic technique. All I have to say is, it explicit states it doesn't require a water source. Some techniques say they cannot work without a water source, most which do not state they do not require a water source. Make sure to play close attention to this. If a technique doesn't state whether or not a source is required, assume it doesn't need one.

( Suiton: Junsai no Jutsu ) - Water Release: Water Shield Technique
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary, Defence
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 10
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user will manipulate their water chakra and releasing it from their arm which is held outwards infront of them and they then create a shield of water that can aide in defence against projectile weapons and close combat techniques.
You must be registered for see images

Whenever you're successful in overtaking the sword, stand in front of it and extend your dominant hand forward to generate a shield of water directly in front of you which exhibits solid-like properties. Unlike previously, you do not grip the shield, rather its suspended in the air in front of you.

Key Points: The shield is created using the moisture in the air around you and is not wielded like a normal weapon (it just freely suspends itself in air). Refer to the picture in the spoiler.

While Netero was standing in the mist that he created, he was proud of himself on the progress he was making, however that feeling faded away as he witnessed a huge serpent like creature swimming in the mist that he made. Netero felt a little scared when the creature swam through him, but his amazement overpowered his fear as he just saw the most amazing thing ever. Netero heard Kisame's voice in the distance and listened and understood what he said, he replied back Teach me that move next!!

He moved out of the missed and onto the next jutsu he was instructed to do, he placed one of his hands out and closed his eyes. Netero channeled his chakra in to his hand and imagined the chakra turning into water. While doing this he imagined a long sword with a sharp blade and a handle, Netero opened his eyes to see a sword made out of water.
I have to throw this and run past it?
Ok

Netero held the sword with a firm grip and threw it as gently as he could in a 45 degree angle. When he did this he crossed his arms and looked at his sensei and grinned .

Strength
Its a good thing you don't need a water source, because if you don't have a weapon or dropped it from collision or something you can rely on this.

Weakness
If this came in contact with lightning or a lightning infused weapon then you will be eletricuted since water is a conducter of electricity

Moving on to the next jutsu Netero would find this one a bit easier done it is very similar to the first. Focusing and gathering his suiton chakra and channeling them to his hand through the circulatory system, and emitting it into the air Netero imagined a condensed liquid in front of home about the same height he is in a shape of a circle. Immediately the very thong he imagined came to life.

Strength
Since it is a solid like water shield it would fend of same ranked attacks and weapon based too.

Weakness
the obvious would be high ranking jutsu and the fact that it only stays in one place so attacks from the three other direction would hit

If i were to use this I would probably use it against a fire based attack, which would create a smoke screen, following with the hiding like a mole jutsu and the decapitation one.

Heh. That technique is reserved solely for shinobi of the Mist. Perhaps if you join us someday you might get to learn it.

Now with your completion of D-Ranks, we're going to discuss handseals before moving on. After learning completing each rank, I'm going to have some more information to bestow upon you. This will allow you to grow in strength as well as knowledge and by the time our training is over, you'll be a fully fledged shinobi.

This time around, the topic is handseals.

Handseals are a method used to focus, control and mold chakra for certain techniques. Some techniques require a large amount of chakra to be utilized whilst others need extreme control or shape manipulation. Both of these can be achieved through the use of handseals. The number of handseals is often dependent on the scale and shape manipulation required, as shown when Zabuza's Water bullet required eighteen or so handseals to simply prepare. However, those who attain completely mastery of their most favoured elemental affinity can often perform all techniques of that element with a single handseal, Tobirama being a prime example of this. What you can get from this is, techniques which are noticeably harder to control can be aided in their usage through handseals. Also, you must in your descriptions always state you use the handseals before you gather/focus your chakra.

If you manage to survive this training, I might put a good word in for you. Now, we'll move onto C-Ranked techniques.

(Suiton: Suiben) - Water Release: Water whip
Rank: C
Type: Offensive, supplementary
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: After the user performs a series of 3 hand seals Rat → Dog → Ox, the user creates a whip of water that can be used to strike the opponent with a lashing action or wrap around the target to bind them. This technique can also have lightning techniques channeled through when they have bound their victim with the water whip.
You must be registered for see images

For this particular technique, I want you to perform a short sequence of three handseals before creating a whip of water and lashing it towards my rock clone. Direct the whip towards his arm and use it to tightly wrap around his dominant arm. After you do that, he will use his brute strength to haul you in, pulling you off your feet and towards him, before aiming to deal a full force frontal punch to your face.

Key Points: Beware, if you use this technique on someone its likely they'll conduct lightning along the whip of water in order to electrocute you.

(Suiton: Mizuame Nababara) - Water Style: Starch Syrup Capture Field
Rank: C
Range: Short/Long
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user After performing the required hand seals Ram → Tiger spits out high-viscosity, chakra infused water, aimed at a surface of wide scope. This is a stream of sticky liquid which can be used to form an adhesive trap that can inhibit a person's mobility. One can effectively reduce their enemy's area of activity with this technique, and has the effect of being able to take complete control over the battlefield. The normal scope of this technique is normally just a few metres, but if prepared, it is also possible to make an entire pond of starch syrup. Being caught in the technique can be avoided by channelling chakra to one's feet allowing one to walk upon it uninhibited, beforehand.
You must be registered for see images
To prevent this happening, I want you to perform two handseals while envisioning the sticky, viscous form of water I told you about earlier. Focus on attaining these qualities for the next water technique you use, before spitting out a highly viscous torrent of water which will cover my clone in a dense blanket of adhesive liquid. The blanket will prove to be so heavy that he'll be unable to move and will also stick his limbs together thus saving you from his attack.

Key Points: I truly love this variant of water. Not this particular technique, but the wide array of custom techniques you can go on to develop with it. Also, remember that it deals no damage. A good thing to note about this technique is that the stickiness of the water doesn't affect you if its infused with your chakra. It will still bind allies and enemies alike excluding you and any clones you create.

After Netero heared what his sensei had to say he performed the Rat → Dog → Ox handseal and would then place out his right hand infront of him, with his palm facing up. Netero focused on the chakra on his right hand, using nature manipulation to turn his chakra into water, Netero then visualised an extended whip on his hand. Using shape manipulation to create it, the water whip would then appear. Netero then lashed the whip at the earth clone, aiming for his arm, successfully the whip wrapped around the clones arm, unfortunately the clone would then pull me in, throwing me into the air.

This where the next jutsu comes in, Netero got up with blood dripping down his nose, he perfoms thd Ram → Tiger handseal. Netero took a deep breath in and using nature manipulation to turn his chakra into water, he would the change it's state into a clear, thick, and sticky liquid. He then spat out the liquid onto the clone thus stopping its attack.
Is this correct?
