One/three advantages:

You can mislead the opponent with this, making them believe that the shuriken isn't a threat, just before expanding it's size and having it tear them a new one.
Since it's Bukijutsu, or similar, I assume it can be used with other Shuriken Jutsu. Like the Shadow Shuriken Jutsu, making more than one appear and have them enlarge? That may cost two moves and twice as much Chakra, but if it works, it could look cool.
Iruka certainly wouldn't be able to walk away from a Shuriken like that. :snick:

One/three disadvantages:

This isn't all that impressive. All you are doing is making a Shuriken larger. Plus it can easily be overpowered by even the most simplest of Elemental techniques.

How you would use it in battle: I probably won't. (How many times am I going to say that before it becomes boring? xD) But if I did, I'd use it in conjunction with other Shuriken Jutsu to mislead my target and increase my chances of landing hits. Also couldn't hurt to infuse the tools with Wind Style or Lightning style to dramatically increase their effectiveness.

How you would counter it: Since it's a D-Rank Ninjutsu, almost any Elemental Ninjutsu technique can destroy/ block/ divert it. This isn't very intimidating, it's just a big Shuriken, so the counters are just as boring.

How you perform it (with as much detail as you can):

I pull out another one of those Demon Wind Shuriken from nowhere and proceed to focus my chakra, gathering it in my hand. The chakra begins to flow into the shuriken as I toss it at your clone. Mid way between myself and the clone, I perform the Tiger hand seal and as a result, the Shuriken's size doubles from the Chakra I filled it with.With the extra size (and presumably mass) the shuriken smashes into your clone and continues to move forward. Eventually the clone dissipates and the Shuriken hits the ground.

One/three advantages:

It's... Flashy?
It uses the word "barrages", so it means business.
At least it has decent range, allowing the user to successfully attack a target up to Mid Range with Shuriken.

One/three disadvantages:

It just looks like a weak version of Itachi's masterful Shurikenjutsu. However there might not be a technique for that, if so, this technique is it.

How you would use it in battle: I probably won't. (From now on, let's just expect this to be my reaction, saves me repeating it Ad Nauseam) But if I were, it certainly wouldn't be to make an "arrival", you could poke someones eyes out with an arrival like that. Like the last one, infusing the tools with Elemental Chakra will help, as well as mixing this with other Shurikenjutsu, like the Shadow Clone Shuriken Jutsu to increase the tools before they impact.

How you would counter it: Same as before, using almost any D-Rank or higher Elemental technique will effectively and quickly counter these tools, so long as you can see them coming.If they are coming from various angles and sides, it's best to go with Wind Style to blow them all away.

Oh god, this is going to be so detailed, you might end up crying.

I take out the tools and I do the thing. It's awesome.

I grab a bunch of Kunai from my pouches and begin to prepare my chakra, gathering the chakra in my feet. I use the chakra to help me leap into the air above your clone, moving in an arc above his head. I release the Kunai in my hand in a fast and precise manner, aiming for vital points on your clone. As I land on the other side of your clone, the Kunai hit their marks, killing your clone.

(Sōshuriken no Jutsu) - Manipulated Shuriken Technique

Description: With this technique a translucent string, both elastic and highly durable, is attached to a shuriken, making it possible to alter its path after having thrown it. An expert will have the ability to freely glide the shuriken in any direction with just a single movement of their fingertip. The first attack, challenging the enemy, is avoided and after a time-lag of several seconds, it will come from behind. Depending on the performance, the possible tactics can be infinite.

Okay I want you to attach some string to your shuriken, then by attaching the string to your fingertips, you'll be able to control it; so I want you to throw it towards my clone, I will tell my clone to dodge it, and from there wait a few seconds and by using your fingertips you should be able to move the shuriken back around and hit my clone from behind, might take you a few tries.

One/three advantages:

The jutsu allows for one to attack from blind spots or a different angle, which can be worked into different combinations. What's even better is that it works similar to a feint, tricking the target into believing that the Shuriken are no longer an issue, allowing you to attack the target while they are unaware of the Shuriken.
Since it's Shurikenjutsu, it can be worked into other similar techniques, giving the user more diversity in their approach, in addition to the unpredictability that this Jutsu provides.

One/three disadvantages:

If the target can see the wires before the Shuriken have been moved into the proper position. A subtler approach, combined with a flashier jutsu to divert attention, would work in the users favor.
They are only Large Shuriken, so their damage and what they can do is limited. Deidara had his arms impaled, but he was seen later in that same battle still using his arms effectively, so unless a strike using the Shuriken is fatal, it isn't very deadly.

How you would use it in battle: Simply, it has promise to be fatal, but only when used in conjunction with other techniques to mask it. The wires are visible due to them reflecting light and all, so using Fire Style or Lightning Style would make the wires clearly visible. I would use it with other Shurikenjutsu or Bukijutsu to increase the volume of tools the opponent has to deal with and maybe a Genjutsu to divert the target's attention from the tools.

How you would counter it: You have to keep an eye open for the wires as they were key to Deidara noticing the Tools in time. Besides that they are only large tools. They can be countered with almost any D-Rank Jutsu, but the simplest would be to cut the wire the opponent uses to manipulate the Shuriken, if they don't have the wire, they don't have the ability to control the Shuriken.

How you perform it (with as much detail as you can):

I start by dropping a smoke bomb, to conceal my movements. Under the cover of the smoke, I pull out two giant Shuriken and attach a thin metal wire to their frames. I then toss the Shuriken in the direction of your clone, I keep my hands in the position they are when they throw the Shuriken as I aim to either take off your clones head or detatch his legs from his body. However, you instruct your clone to avoid the attack, and so it does, easily. He stands back in the way he was before I threw the Shuriken. Believing the danger has passed, your clone relaxes. Meanwhile I pull my arms back, pulling the wire and pulling the Shuriken back towards your clone. The Shuriken do as they were originally thrown for, to sunder head and legs from body. My objective complete I await further instruction.

The user will use his chakra to hide a paper tag inside an inanimate object, like the ground or a wall. The tag can be a sealing tag or an explosive tag. The technique can be used to hide more than one tag per use if the user spends more chakra. Hidden tags can be detected by doujutsu or expert sensory ninjas.

With this one, I want you to grab out one paper tag from there I want you to place it into the ground below, you do this by using your chakra to separate the ground and place the tag in the ground, then yeah. When my clone walks over it, the stepping over it should cause it to go off, blowing my clones foot right off.

One/three advantages:

Useful if you want to booby trap an area or even a Ninja Tool. Using Explosive Tags to blow the target up or a Sealing Tag to summon more tools unexpectedly, catching your opponent off guard.

One/three disadvantages:

You need to be completely out of your opponents line of sight, otherwise they can clearly see the Jutsu being performed.

How you would use it in battle: Like I mentioned above, to either booby trap and area or a tool to catch my opponent off guard. It's best used when the opponent has no idea there are tags there, so perhaps using a Smoke Bomb or another means of cutting your line of sight with your opponent would be the best way to utilize this technique.

How you would counter it: There isn't much to counter, but if you run into a booby trap, you need to get out of the area as soon as by using a technique to elevate yourself, like Earth Release: Mobile Core or Hiding Like a Mole technique. If it's a booby trapped tool, almost any Elemental Ninjutsu would suffice and would be a standard counter to a throw tool, as you are both defending from it and attacking your opponent at the same time.

How you perform it (with as much detail as you can):

I start by gathering basic Chakra, channeling it into my hand. As I do I pull an Explosive Tag out of my pouch and proceed to fill it with my chakra. Then I kneel down and place the tag on the ground, allowing more of my chakra to flow into the earth, allowing me to manipulate it ever so slightly. With the Chakra in the tag and the ground working in unison, the tag completely blends into the Earth, hidden from the sight of those without Doujutsu or Sensory abilities. With the Tag hidden, all I have to do now is come up with a (not) funny scenario for "tricking" your clone into the trap... Can't think of one, I just run at your clone and toss him of the tag, triggering it and, depending on your religious and political views, becoming a serial killer, because so far I've only killed one type of person, all the same height, same weight, same eye color, same hair color. So, yeah, you're training a serial killer, good on you. xD

One/three advantages:

Works well with other Shurikenjutsu.
It's simplicity can cause complacency which you can use to your advantage.

One/three disadvantages:

There isn't really anything that separates this from the other Shurikenjutsu Techniques. You pull out some tools and you throw them, nothing particularly special. :|

How you would use it in battle: I probably won't, but if I did it'd be to imitate Itachi's Shurikenjutsu style. :sweat:

How you would counter it: Same as the previous jutsu, you use an Elemental Technique to overpower it, allowing you to both attack and defend.

How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): (There isn't a whole lot to work with here and I've already done the Itachi thing... :|)

I pull out an assortment of tools from my pouch, a Shuriken, Kunai and Senbon amongst other tools, like some spikes and even some wire. I then begin to channel Chakra into my feet, preparing for a massive jump. As I do I simultaneously channel Chakra into the tools, to assist their flight. Once I've gathered my Chakra, I leap into the air and toss the first tool, a Shuriken with ninja wire attached to my hand. It flies past your clone, a deliberate attempt to mislead your clone. As the Shuriken whizzes past I've already thrown several spikes at the ground. Their purpose shall be clear in a moment. As the spikes land at your clones feet I toss Senbon aimed for your clones legs, an attempt to disable it. Next I throw Kunai, aimed for your clones abdomen, obviously trying to rack up some actual damage.

In summary I have mislead with the initial Shuriken (Or have I?), I have debilitated your clones legs, had him land on Ninja spikes (Ouch, that must hurt) and impaled his abdomen. But it's not over yet, since your clone isn't "dead" yet. You know that first Shuriken I tossed with the Ninja Wire? Yeah, I'm playing "that card" now. As I land I pull my hand back, causing the wire to pull the tool out of the ground, towards your clones head. It digs into the back of your clones head and *poof*. (Man I wish I could find an MP3 of that SFX. Lol.)

(Sōgu: Shikyū Geki) - Manipulated Tools: Deadly Spheres Strike

Grab out a scroll and start spinning yourself while holding the scroll, spiked metal balls will come from the scroll, hitting anyone near you. Short range only.

(Sōgu: Fūjin Heki) - Manipulated Tools: Floating Blades Wall

Description: The user unrolls in the floor under the enemy two small scrolls and summons many different weapons from them, taking the enemy into the air. Then they wraps the leg of the enemy with a chain and crushes him back down to the ground.

Now these one, place the two scrolls on the ground under the enemy; these scrolls with summon a bunch of weapons, they will attack the target sending him into the air, then chains will come out of the scrolls and grab the targets legs, slamming him back onto the ground.

Now with this one, get out another scroll and wave it in a circle, it'll turn into a giant hammer with chain, with a metal ball at the end, you will crush my clone with it, once the attack is complete the hammer turns back into the scroll.

Lol, I thought there were 4 techniques, so I did the template for 4 Jutsu, then I spent 10 mins scrolling up and down, looking for the 4th Jutsu. xD I went full retard and full blonde for a minute (or ten) there... :sweat:

One/three advantages:

It provides 360 degree coverage because you spin around, expelling tools in a random manner.
Additionally, it's has both offensive and defensive properties, at least when Taijutsu and CQC is concerned. The opponent can't get close if your tossing a metric ass tonne of spiky metal balls at them, hence defensive, and yet you are tossing the balls at the opponent, hence offensive. (That and they say nasty things about people...)

One/three disadvantages:

It doesn't reach very far, limiting you to only hitting opponents within spitting distance.
When using thsi technique you are extremely vulnerable to Elemental Ninjutsu of a higher rank. You won't be able to see them coming due to "spinning like a "maddy" (mad man in colloquial Scottish).
You're also vulnerable to attacks from below, like your opponent using Hiding Like a Mole, then pulling you beneath the surface of the ground. The spiked balls doen't have penetrating power after all. They just have a decent amount of momentum from the user spinning, and wouldn't affect the ground beneath the users feet, making the Hiding like a Mole Technique the best counter to this attack, at least to me.

How you would use it in battle: The only way it can be used is when the opponent is in close range, at least without extra influence. An idea just came to me when typing this so it isn't complete, but you could use a clone or a partner to use a Wind Style Jutsu to enhance the speed and momentum of the balls, allowing them to hit harder and fly further. How this can be done is beyond me. Maybe they could stand back to back and interlock their arms or some shit. I dunno, my brain is weird. :|

How you would counter it: I said it before, using the Hiding like a Mole technique is probably the best way to avoid, and counter this attack. While underground there are quite a few Jutsu you can use to kill or incapacitate your opponent, one of which involves a pillar of stone and their pillar and stones, if you know what I mean...

How you perform it (with as much detail as you can):

I pull another object from nowhere, this time a scroll, and proceed to open it. From there I begin to gather chakra in my hands, flowing basic chakra into the scroll and beginning to activate it. From there I "spin like a maddy" while the scroll releases several spiky metal balls, that would no doubt really hurt anyone who they come into contact with. With the scroll needing to be reloaded, and myself about to throw my guts up from spinning so fast, I take a break...

One/three advantages:

It has potential to be a good "surprise" technique. You know? Drop the scrolls in Close Range, pretending like it was an accident, then luring or forcing your opponent onto them, then you trigger them.
Besides that there isn't much I can say about this technique. It's pretty... You know. "Bleh"...

One/three disadvantages:

You need to have the opponent under the correct conditions, requiring you to go through some hoops before you can perform this technique, and honestly, I don't think it's worth it. You can simply rely on Water Style: Explosive Bite of the Water Dragon to do the exact same thing, except it requires less "hoop-jumping" and more preparation time.

How you would use it in battle: I probably won't but if I did, it would be in a similar manner to how I described above, using it to surprise my opponent. Besides that I don't think I'll use this, or any of 2x4's Tenten's Jutsu. Ever.

How you would counter it: You have a few points where can counter it, first being when the opponent places the scrolls down. You can just incinerate them. Then you have the point where the Tools are released, you can form some kind of defense or simply overpower the tools, once again destroying the scrolls. Other counters include altering your body, like with Kakuzu's Earth Technique where you harden your body. It's only basic tools, so there's not much to worry about if you can activate it as soon as you can.

How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): I pull out two other scrolls and lay them flat on the ground, unrolling them with a simple tugging motion. Then I gather chakra once more, channeling it into the scrolls. They activate, releasing heavy streams of Ninja Tools into the air. Against an opponent they would penetrate and cut them severely, then, the chains would appear, grabbing them and giving them one hell of a case of whiplash, slamming them into the ground.

One/three advantages:

Can easily crush anyone into a cartoonish 2D-cutout of themselves, or even leave a Wile-E Coyote-like hole in the ground. Seriously though, that is one big ball. (That's what she sai... Wait. Why am I using so many innuendo in this training session?! 0__o)
The size of the ball and chain combo means it can reach Mid Range, a nice change to the Short Range Manipulated Tools techniques.
Besides it's overall size and length, there is nothing worthy of note in this technique.

One/three disadvantages:

It's just a tool, so it's easy to overcome with Elemental Ninjutsu, moves like cutting the chain with Chidori True Spear or simply overwhelming the Tool with a Fireball or something would work.
Besides that there isn't much else to say about this Jutsu. :\

How you would use it in battle: I guarantee I won't. It just looks so clunky. But if I did, my opponent would need to be weakened or incapacitated so that I would risk it. (For a biscuit.)

How you would counter it: Elemental Ninjutsu would generally overpower it. Moves like cutting the chain and causing the ball to drop or simply destroying the ball would stop the Jutsu in it's tracks. Besides that you could just overpower the ball with Taijutsu, punching it into your opponent, like a boss. The ball is C-Rank and Basic Taijutsu moves can make it to B-Rank.

How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): I take out, yet another, scroll. One wonders where I'm hiding them, and I open it, allowing it to trail on the ground. I then gather more chakra, pooling it and letting it flow into the scroll. As I do I begin to spin the scroll around, until it transforms. It becomes a giant ball and chain like weapon, like a flail or a morning star, but much bigger. Then, in a tremendous display of physical strength, I toss the ball down to the ground. It creates a giant crater before transforming back into a scroll.

Description: This technique is very similar to Twin Rising Dragons, but in this version the user only summons countless kunai from the scrolls, which are connected by strings at thier hands. They then throws all the kunai at the same time on the opponent.

I want you to grab out a scroll and slam your hand on it, releasing countless amount of kunai, each one of these kunai will have string attached to them, allowing you to control them, I then want you to send all the kunai at once towards my clone.

Another scroll based technique, slam your hand on the scroll to summon a long chain that will wrap around my clone, when my clone it tapped by the chain, I want you to get another scroll out and summon a large amount of weapons at my clone.

One/three advantages:

The sheer number of tools is impressive, I guess. Plus the fact they can be freely manipulated due to the strings, but this is just another Ninja Tool jutsu, so nothing spectacular.

One/three disadvantages:

Despite the large amount of tools, they are just that. Tools, the don't offer much but sheer numbers. They can still be taken out with Elemental Jutsu, defended with Elemental Jutsu and basically don't have much use in my opinion, unless you are lucky enough to be in an extremely favorable position.

How you would use it in battle: If I did, it would be when my opponent is stunned, trapped in a Genjutsu or otherwise incap'd. That way I reduce the likelyhood of losing from actually having the (lack of) brains to use Ninja Tools. xD

How you would counter it: Just about anything will do it. Fire melts them, Lightning cuts them, Wind blows them away, Water reduces their momentum and stops them and Earth easily overpowers and blocks them physically. You could also just use the same Jutsu to neutralize them.

How you perform it (with as much detail as you can):

Using the chain to incap and keep your target restrained is a good way to set up that last Jutsu, or any other Jutsu for that matter.
Besides that it's just the last Jutsu with a chain... :|

One/three disadvantages:

Same as the Jutsu above, but with the added disadvantage of possibly being in contact with the chain while your opponent uses a Jutsu like Nagashi to electrocute you. xD

How you would use it in battle: That Chain will come in handy, but besides that, it's, for want of a better word, shit. It's the same as the last Jutsu, but with a chain. As if that is going to make it better... >_>

How you would counter it:Same reasons as above. All 5 basic Elements overpower it, and a jutsu with equal or greater number of tools with outnumber and overpower it all the same.

How you perform it (with as much detail as you can):

I start by pulling out two scrolls, one in each hand. I gather basic Chakra in my hands as I unroll the scrolls, activating the formula on the pre-prepared scrolls. From each of these scrolls comes dozens, perhaps hundreds of kunai, all attached to strings on my fingers. With a couple of quick, simple motions, the Kunai all fly towards your clone at a low height and fast pace. As they reach your clone, I pull both my hands up, causing the kunai to follow suit, buffering and slashing you, each Kunai pushing you into the air. As soon as you are high enough, I drop the last two scrolls and pull out another one, doing the same as last time, filling the scroll with Chakra and activating the sealing formula. This time the scroll becomes a chain. I dash into close range and whip the chain, wrapping your clone up, before pulling your clone down, and thus my hands down, signalling the Kunai I summoned before to "make it rain". Your clone slams into the ground as a storm of Kunai pepper him like a roast. xD

(I know the second technique calls for you to summon more tools, but I personally think that was cooler than just forgetting about the previous tools. Doesn't really matter anyway, as I don't think I'll be using Tools any time soon. xD)

One/three advantages:

It's a collaboration Ninjutsu with a summon or a partner that allows you to transform into a larger form than the simple Transformation Jutsu would allow. The size you are allowed to summon into is probably restricted by the size of your partner, like the case of Gamabunta + Naruto, he used Gamabunta's Size to become the Nine Tailed Fox. What's also good is that I believe that, because it doesn't say otherwise, you can use this with, say a clone.

One/three disadvantages:

You are essentially becoming a much larger target, or simply wasting Chakra, if you don't chose a good Transformation that it is.
Besides that, there isn't much either good or bad about this Jutsu. It's very situational, and therefore it depends on the particular situation you're in.

How you would use it in battle: Like I said, it's situational, but if I were to give a hypothetical... Say I'm fighting someone who's using Manda 2, and all I have left to summon is the basic Snake, using this, I could transform into a larger form, using the snake's body as the base form and my Chakra as a catalyst. In other words, using this, you can take the Basic Snake from the Snake Contract and make it larger. The way Naruto used it was very smart, allowing Gamabunta to grab on to, and keep Shukaku busy, while Naruto undid the Jutsu and headed straight for Gaara.

How you would counter it: This isn't something one can simply say flat out. It depends on the form the user chooses. They could decide to take the form of the Ten Tails after all, or maybe even Suigetsu's Large Water beast thing that he transformed into while against Bee. It's all very situational, besides, this technique isn't offensive, so there's no need to defend against it. Derp. <__> ?

(Also, guess it's sort of good that the Maned Wolf Summoning Contract was Declined. I'll do this and work on it for the next cycle. This also means I get to use Snakes in our spar... :snick

I start by Summoning one of the basic warriors of the Snake Contract, known simply as Kyo.

I look around to make sure there are no Mods present who can ban me for this... >__> <___< >___> Coast is clear. I weave the 5 signs required for the Summoning Jutsu, while I bite into my thumb and draw a line of blood down my Snake Summon Tattoo. I pour a little bit of Chakra into my arm as I slam it into the ground. A large cloud of smoke appears as a 50ft brown, scaly snake appears from beneath me. I am now seated comfortably on top of Kyo.

"Hey Kyo, you up for some Collaboration Ninjutsu?"

"You called me here for ssomething that ssstupid?!"

"Oh shut up, it'll be fun."

"You are ssso dead Sshayde..."

With the little argument seeming to die down, Shayde weaves a single seal, slamming his hands together. But he noticed that Kyo wasn't providing any Chakra for the Jutsu. He slamed his foot down onto the snakes head and said with a bitter tone;

"Hey!! This is a TEAM effort, if you don't help I will so turn you into a pair of boots!!

"Sshut up, I'm doing it!!"

With Kyo providing some Chakra and Shayde providing the Seal for the Jutsu, the two of them begin to glow a faint blue hue. The phenomenon of visible pure, unmolded Chakra has been seen various times throughout history, and always through intense concentration. With the two of them combining their efforts, they were about to pull off the Jutsu, however...

"Wait, what will we transform into...?"

And with that, both of them lost all semblance of concentration. A loud fart noise could be heard for miles as both of them halted their chakra.

"You idiot!! Why'd you go and do that?! Now look what you've done!!"

"Oh, shut up, it's not like you weren't thinking it!! But really, uh, what should we transform into...?"

"How about the old man?"

"You mean the Sage? Pfft, he'd kill us for it, but it would be worth it... Okay, let's do it!!"

With their new found collaboration, they once more began to channel their Chakra. Kyo providing the bulk of the Chakra, which was much easier for him, since he was much larger, and Shayde provided the Hand Seals, because evolution wasn't that kind to Snakes when it came to arms or legs... Once more they began to glow a slight blue-ish hue, and then, at the peak of their concentration, a massive cloud of white smoke appeared. From the smoke appeared a massive white scaled snake, complete with it's silly hat, ginger hair and golden rings decorating it's body.

"Haha!! Look at me!! I'm the Snake Sage of Ryūchi Cave. I sit on my ass all day and teach losers how to become more self important. But I don't teach it to Uchiha whelps because their Sharingan screws up the Chakra balance or some shit like that. Hahahaha!!"

With their fun achieved, Shayde and Kyo separated, and Kyo returned back to Ryūchi Cave, where he hoped no other snakes had heard the mocking of the Snake Sage... Meanwhile Shayde was still laughing his ass off at how fun that was. xD

(Shinra Banshō Dōka No Jutsu) - Assimilate All Creation Technique

This jutsu also lets the user turn into fine grains of rock that can be used to do another jutsu. The issue with using this technique is that the user will gain all the weaknesses of the material they mimic, even if they are granted their strengths.

So there is some sand over there, I want you to touch it with you hand and by using chakra all throughout your body doing this in such a way turns your into fine grains of sand/rock, this technique can be used with another technique that'll you'll learn later one, this technique has had some abuse I'm aware of it, and it cannot be used to dodge an attack, so if someone uses a lighting technique and you use this, you will die. Another thing to this technique you don't have to turn into fine grains of rock, if you touch earth you can also harden any part of your body to that said material.

(Kao Utsushi no Jutsu) - Face Copy Technique

Description: This technique allows the user to take on the body of their target. They must remain close to the one they want to copy for a short period of time. Their body will then shape and contort to resemble the target. The copy is said to be so good that even family members of the target cannot tell they are a fake. The user will even take on the smell of the original. Unfortunately, the user does not copy the targets jutsu, leaving them with only their original skills. Practitioners of this jutsu are also skilled in quickly taking on the mannerisms of the original person and playing up the character traits of their target. Through a regular Henge in combination, they can copy the clothing of the opponent. Their appearance will eventually change back to their original form after several days.

Now this technique allow you to change the form of someone, but the one thing with this, you have to remain close to the person you want to transform into, for a short period of time, you take on their form, there smell, but you do not gain their powers.

Okay, since this was a unique case, I did what I usually don't have the time for, and looked into the Jutsu by viewing the episode in which it was featured. Usually I can get a general understanding from a first glance, but this one was so, uh, confusing, I had to confirm it from it's source. If I'm being honest, it's a bit like a Litmus Finger, only it's restricted to earthen materials, and I say that loosely, because the way the Ninja used it to assimilate other Jutsu.

The guy who used it in episode 165 made some very... Uh... OP moves with it. First of all he used it to simply harden his body to avoid being bitten by Pakkun, simple stuff. Then... It get's complicated. He used what looked like Choji's Human Boulder and got blown up by an explosive tag. That should have been it right? Wrong. Somehow, even though he was a pile of human rubble, he controlled the debris and used it to attack Kakashi, while reconstituting himself by gathering fine grains of rock, that made him look like black sand. From there he expelled a ton of the black-rock sand and used it to recreate Gaara's Sand Coffin and Sand Burial techniques.

To make this easy I've underlined what I don't think I can do with this Jutsu, as they aren't really included in the description. If I'm wrong, just say so that I know.

One/three advantages:

Not only is this technique a good technique for camouflage and general espionage, it's a good defensive Jutsu, allowing you to harden your body to basically withstand physical attacks. But, like you said, if you try and use it to avoid a Lightning Jutsu, you're screwed.

One/three disadvantages:

Even though you physically gain the materials strength, you also carry their weakness, so using this to withstand a Lightning Jutsu isn't a bright idea.

How you would use it in battle: Not to withstand Lightning Release, and probably just to improve my Taijutsu, while making myself harder, so basic tools and stuff can't harm me.

How you would counter it: Spam Lightning Release like there is no tomorrow. :|

How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): I wal over to the aforementioned sand, that doesn't really fit in with the local geography, but hey, anything is possible if you say it on the internet.

I place my hand on the sand and begin to channel Chakra into that hand, allowing it to flow into the sand and back into my hand. This allows me to basically sample what the ground is made of, then I channel Chakra throughout my body, "assimilating" the sand throughout my entire form. As soon as the process is complete, I look like the biggest Gaara fanboy in the world. "ZOMG, I love Gaara I turned myself into sand to be like him!!" or some shit like that. xD

Dunno if you came to the same conclusion as me on this one, but this basically the Shape Changer's ability from Supernatural, lol. It's almost identical in the fact your body "contorts" to fit their shape, just like that gruesome scene where we see the Shape Changer shed it's skin and all that stuff.

One/three advantages:

Besides being good for recon and basic "mess with some people" RP, there isn't much else you can do with this. For example, say I took your form, I could waltz into Otogakure, so long as my Chakra doesn't give me away. xD

One/three disadvantages:

There is nothing intrinsically good or bad about this Jutsu. It's basically a less convenient Transformation Jutsu.

How you would use it in battle: I probably won't. The fact you have to stay close to the target for a short period, while remaining undetected during the transformation process, is almost impossible if you want to copy someone worth copying.

How you would counter it: No need to. But I don't think you can. It reverses in a few days, so only time can undo it.

How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): Because I've been standing close to you for quite a while now, due to the training, I've already fulfilled one part of the Jutsu. Now I just have to transform. I simply channel Chakra through my body and use it to physically alter my general appearance, height, tone, hair, facial structure and other various things that would most likely tickle... Or hurt a ****ing lot!! As soon as I finished I pull out a mirror from thin air and look at what I have become, and what I will be for the next few days as a side effect of the Jutsu...

I believe for the first technique, there is other techniques that allow you to do something similar (techniques wise for this Rp); but yeah what that guy did in the episode was a little over the top.

(Soushouryuu) - Twin Rising Dragons

From these scrolls the ninja can then summon a mass of weapons, which they then begin to throw at their opponent. If the first barrage fails, they can use wires that run from each weapon to their fingertips to pull them back into the air to strike at their opponent again.

This, I want you to grab out two scrolls and place them on the ground, then form some seals, this will cause the two scrolls to rise into the air and begin to swirl around you, you will then launch yourself into the air in the middle of the scrolls, from there the scrolls will summon a huge amount of weapons, every weapon has a wire attach to them, so if the first round misses you can control to swing around and strike your target again.

With this one, I want you to grab out two kunai, then by sending your chakra into the kunai, I want you to place them in the air, using your chakra to make them hover. From there you are able to simply send the kunai flying towards my clone. Pretty unused technique, I need to use this more.

One/three advantages:

The sheer volume of tools is impressive.
The fact they can be controlled and directed using strings is a plus and provides the option of attacking from all directions.

One/three disadvantages:

This is a Ninjutsu based on tool usage. While it would be cool to use it in some situations, the bottom line is using this without having a massive advantage over your opponent is simply unadvised, as it's too easy to stop, counter, redirect or otherwise be overwhelmed while using this Jutsu.
There is also the large string of handseals required to perform this Jutsu.

How you would use it in battle: To attack from multiple directions while my opponent is playing defensively.

How you would counter it: Blow the tools away with Wind, cut the wires with Lightning, melt the tools with Fire, etc. Almost any Elemental Jutsu is able to stop, counter, redirect or otherwise overwhelm this Jutsu, as it's simply a large number of tools.

How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): I start by pulling out 2 scrolls and placing them on either side of me. I then start performing the seals, Tiger → Dragon → Monkey → Hare → Snake, and for some reason (Probably because this is a tool Jutsu, and they're weird.) I cross my arms as the final seal for this Jutsu. This causes the scrolls to erupt in an upward spiral of smoke shaped like Dragons. I leap into the air and begin to bring out tools and toss them at you, but none of them hit. I then pull them all back up, using the strings attached to them, and swing them around. All the tools blend together and mimic another dragon, which I then drive into the ground, causing a massive burst of tools that fly off in every direction.

One/three advantages:

It's a nice Jutsu for combining with Kenjutsu or Taijutsu, rush in and start cutting and punching, while the kunai are released at a random time. Since it leaves your hands free, it would work very well.
Since it doesn't look like it requires Hand Seals either, it makes a nice support jutsu.
It's also quicker than tossing them through normal methods, as they'll already be trained on the target, just one hand gesture can cause them to attack the target.

One/three disadvantages:

It may not allow you to use other Jutsu, as keeping the Kunai in the air may require your chakra to be focused on them, and not on another technique.

How you would use it in battle: I'd use them in conjunction with free form Tai and Ken to overwhelm my targets and possibly kill them with an attack on their vital spots. :devil:

How you would counter it: It's simple to deflect, stop, counter or overwhelm kunai, just use almost any Elemental Ninjutsu, or heck, even match or outnumber the kunai thrown by using your own tool jutsu and you'd have the upper hand.

How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): I take out 2 kunai and begin to gather basic chakra in my hands. I then fill the kunai with chakra as I raise them into the air with my hands. I use the chakra in the blades as a form of stability for the kunai, keeping them seemingly afloat via the application of chakra. I then snap my fingers as the kunai are launched at a fast pace, digging into a tree in the background.

Description: Utilizing chakra, the user is able to activate the explosion mechanism of a distant bomb tag. The exploding tags that the Third Hokage used were different than the usual bomb tags, being yellow in color instead of white with a red border.

I don't know why it is saying distant bomb tag, when the range is short, so I see this technique as a rather pointless technique. But anyway, I want you to throw a bomb tag at my short range clone, and then by sending your chakra into the tag, it will blow up and take my clone along with it.

This is rather simple, grab out as many kunai as your hands can handle, then jump up into the air, as you jump do it so you start to spin round and round, then release the kunai as you spin, releasing a barrage of kunai, as you keep spinning keep grabbing out more and more to continue the assault.

One/three advantages:

It would go well with a Clone or a Tool. The opponent would think it's just a distraction, only to find out that it's got some kick. That's bout it though, not a very good Jutsu.

One/three disadvantages:

It's limited by range, it's limited in usage and it doesn't really have any purpose.

How you would use it in battle: I'd summon a Clone or anything that can perform Ninjutsu and attach a tag to it, then when it get's into Close Range I'd use get the clone to use this, and blow itself and the target up. Besides that, I can't really see any other way to use this, without being in the blast radius yourself.

How you would counter it: Almost any basic Jutsu can overpower an explosive tag. They are a free form tool, this Jutsu is only for it's activation. So there isn't any real need to stop this jutsu, simply stopping the tag would do.

How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): I take an explosive tag out from my back pouch and attach it to the handle of a Shuriken as I enter Close Range of your clone. I then casually toss the kunai into the air, as it spins I gather Chakra in my hands and clasp them together. I send a small amount of Chakra through the air to the explosive tag and activate the seal on the papers face, this cause a small explosion, barely worthy of note, never mind repeating to be frank.

One/three advantages:

Attacking multiple directions by rapidly spinning and throwing tools could come in handy when fighting clones or multiple targets. Plus it looks like a cooler version of the Kunai attack Itachi used, which is cool.

One/three disadvantages:

In the end you are just spinning like a mad man, tossing kunai in every direction which is sloppy. Plus tools aren't very powerful when compared to Ninjutsu, making this a very dangerous Jutsu to use without proper precautions.

How you would use it in battle: Using this to attack someone faster than you is a smart idea. Even though your attacks are haphazard and unfocused, there is always the chance one Kunai could hit the mark. Besides that it would be good for countering tools or other small, misc things from multiple angles or directions.

How you would counter it: By standing your ground and using the Shadow Shuriken Clone Jutsu to simply outnumber the incoming haphazardly thrown tools, or by overwhelming it with an elemental Jutsu.

How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): I grab 8 kunai from my pouch and hold them in between my fingers. I then leap into the air and spin rapidly, creating a massive amount or force from the rotating. I then begin to release the Kunai at regular intervals, sending them in random directions. One of them just happened to strike your clone. With that done, I land and try not to vomit from all the rotating...

With this one, it's rather more used for NW, so I want you to release your chakra in such a way that it is able to create a larger version of yourself in the sky, it is not a hard copy of yourself, similar to the Haze clone technique, but this technique is more used to simply send a message.

(Rakka Kibaku Fuda) - Falling Paper Bomb

Besides acting as a "I declare WAR!!" Jutsu I don't see any use for this. To try and use this to "distract" the opponent in battle is not only needless, it's pointless. No one would fall for it, unless of course you mixed this in with a Genjutsu to taunt the target. Besides that, rather pointless use and waste of Chakra, this Jutsu has no purpose for a Ninja like myself who prefers to do things from the shadows, not announce himself to the masses at a single point. :snick:

One/three disadvantages:

This Jutsu, at least to me, has no right to exist. It doesn't really have any practical battle uses. :|

How you would use it in battle: I won't. There is nothing I can think of that would be complimented by this Jutsu. I don't even think using this with a Genjutsu would work, as Genjutsu alter the surroundings, so using this when it won't appear in a Genjutsu is pointless.

How you would counter it: No need to. It's a supplementary Jutsu with no damage output. It just makes you look bigger than you are. It's a Jutsu for men with big ego's and tiny... Uh... I'll just stop there shall I?

How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): I gather Chakra throughout my body and release it into the air. I then use shape manipulation to create an image of myself in the sky over Konoha.

"Hey guys, I'm starving, can someone bring me a pizza or some Ramen or some shit? This Ninjutsu stuff is tiring..." =___=

Shayde waited for somebody, anybody, to deliver him something to eat... When it was apparent no one was coming, he moved on to the next technique. >__>

Could be good for an assault from more than one direction.

Once again it's still just Ninja tools, meaning they can be countered easily enough.
Plus, using Chakra for something that wouldn't usually use Chakra? This is just an aerial Mid Range version of the last technique for detonating tags from a distance.

How you would use it in battle: It's tough to say. How many times can I repeat myself on these Ninja Tools without plagiarizing my own words? :| I guess it could be used as a diversionary tactic, distract the opponent with an aerial display while you focus on something else, like maybe using an attack from below or from the sides? At this point I'm thinking about stuffing my mouth with explosive tags and using that last jutsu to go *boom* simply from the sheer number of Ninja Tool Jutsu... ;__;

How you would counter it: Best to use something to avoid the explosion, defending with Water or Earth would do the trick, but the Water might only slow down the tools, since they get fired from the explosion. Best to avoid that and just use a Earth Style defensive Jutsu to stop it, either that or go after the tags before they get close.

How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): I grab 3 explosive tags from my pouch and attach them to kunai using ninja wire by threading to through the 4 corners of the tag. This creates a "parachute" for me to use in battle, adding a level strategy to attacks in battle. I toss these tagged Kunai into the air and watch as they take their sweet time floating down into range. As soon as they do I activate a half-tiger seal, the Seal of Confrontation, and send a small amount of Chakra into the seals. They explode, sending a fiery wave and 3 violently shot kunai at your clone.

(Hiru Banshō: Bōka no Jutsu) - Leech All Creation: Attack Prevention Technique

Description: Using this jutsu, the user can merge with another passive object and take on its properties to avoid any damage. While merged, the user is virtually undetected unless the enemy has a doujutsu. Even chakra sensors won't be able to pinpoint the users position. The limitation of the technique is that to use a technique and mold chakra, the user must fully unmerge although doing so doesn't produce any sound and the user can only be sensed once fully unmerged. The user is still aware of the world outside the object and can travel inside it at his normal running speed. The technique was used so far by 3 ninjas (Yamato, Orochimaru and Uchiha Madara) but as an advanced ninjutsu, it can be used by any skilled enough ninja.
Note: the user must be Sannin Rank and above
Note: Orochimaru and Yamato can use it 5 times per battle, Uchiha Madara can use it 3 times, other ninjas can use it twice.
Note: Cannot merge into mediums which aren't tangible

Okay so this technique, wasn't around when I was taught nin. So just bear with me. I want you to gather you chakra and touch a object and send your chakra all throughout the thing you touched, you will start to merge into the thing. Good technique to avoid another techniques, also people who have dojutsu can see you in the medium, but not people with sensory. Good technique, we as normal ninjas can only use it twice.
