"Taijutsu to me??" Mugen said, the words rolling off his tongue as he sheathed his sword. What a provocative question, all the moments Mugen had brutally disfigured his adversaries flooded his mind, and a gleeful smile spread across his face.

"Well Taijutsu is simply hand to hand combat, but its more than that, it lets me test the limits of my imaginations stringing together techniques and attacks to create fluid motions, I'd have to say Taijutsu really helps me mess some people up. In addition to that it takes the battle out of the element z vs element y orientation, and lets me take it at my own pace. It can make things fun."

That's good. Kenjutsu users often forget that their sword does not necessarily require a two-handed grip. In this world the blade is equally dangerous with just one hand. Give yourself that edge. But yeah, Taijutsu does mix things up a little, and even in fights where your opponent sticks with Ninjutsu you can still use it to intimidate; force your opponent out of his comfort zone.
Anyway, there's a list of D-ranks somewhere. A lot of simple techniques, like kicks and punches. Give me your thoughts, ask any questions you may have, and pick out a favorite to tell me about.

They all looked pretty nice but this seems the most useful.

Description: This technique is a good example of how even simple taijutsu can become a pre-eminently destructive, lethal technique. The attack is a simple rear spinning low kick, but a strong enough user can send a large adult flying as if they weighed nothing. The goal is to throw the enemy off balance, and deal damage to the lower half of their body.

This can be used to knock your opponent off balance and cause considerable damage. It can end the battle but yet is incredibly simple.

That's the beauty of most of these techniques; no chakra cost. You can perform them and some handseal-less Ninjutsu at the same time. Use this to your advantage.
But yeah, simple and effective techniques most of them. Punches, slaps, etc.
Perform Leaf gale for me, please.

Mugen walked over to the dummy and placed it a few paces, in front of himself. He then walmed back to his original position, he threw two shuriken to the shoulders of the dummy to preoccupy the opponent treating this situation as if it were real, and then ran forward lowering his stance steadily at a rate getting ever so close the the earth. He planted his left hand onto the ground as an anchor. Then spun his right foot to kick the ankle of his opponent. The dummy was knocked off balance and Mugen got back up looking towards his sensei.

Remember that a rear-spinning kick does include an actual 360 degrees spin. I can see it in your description, but it is not stated specifically. The shuriken were a nice addition; people often forget about simple ninjas tools, but they do serve as good distractions.
Now, you've chosen a favorite, but not all techniques can be great. Are there any of the techniques you feel are less useful than the rest? Why? Why not?

Now, you've chosen a favorite, but not all techniques can be great. Are there any of the techniques you feel are less useful than the rest? Why? Why not?
Out of them all I'd have to say Dynamic Entry. It's really simple and easy to evade, also it leaves to many openings. Unless the opponent was distracted or preoccupied I feel like it would do more harm to the user than the opponent.

Dynamic Entry. A signature technique. It has its limitations; you have to be in mid-air to use it as well.

It was a hard pick since they all are really good, but these four seem the coolest, partly due to their simplicity but also because of the combo possibilities. They also seem like techs I would use often.

"I'll perform all four if that's cool." Mugen walked forward and created a shadow clone he then walked three meters backwards, he first threw two shuriken and while the clone use his kunai to deflect the two Mugen then kicked the enemy's knee with all his strength, as the clone began to stumbled, Mugen crouched and delivered an uppercut to the jaw, as his opponent was raised slightly to the air, Mugen pulled back his arms delivering two incredibly strong punches to the opponents torso, angled so they would launched him upwards. As the opponent flew upwards, Mugen leaped off the ground and grabbed the shadow clone by his shirt while placing his foot on his chest. As Mugen leaned backward he extended his leg and watched as the opponent was propelled onto the ground and exploded into smoke.

Good choices; no needless jumps and no chakra costs. One of my favorites among the C-ranks, however, is Suiken, Drunken Fist. Tell me a little about that technique, its merits and its potential disadvantages, if any.

Oh yeah that move is insane, first off you can attack up to twelve times, or if you wanted only four or one. Each time you will only output 30 DMG. However the secondary affects, such as the opponents balance, positioning could be followed up with other potentially dangerous jutsu. This jutsu is very broad that any attack can be used, however it all depends on the user's creativity and RP. It also costs no chakra what's not to love?

Nice. Perform the technique in a relevant situation; show its versatility.
Then pick out a least favorite technique among the C-ranks and argue your case.

Mugen smirked, his legs began to wobble as he created a shadow clone. He then walked towards the shadow clone shouting words as if they were spilling out his mouth, as he walked forward. "Attention.... Hut! 1 2 3 4, 1 2 3. 1 2 3 4, 1 2 3. Halt!" he said once he reached arms reach within his opponent. He launched a surprisingly powerful punch towards his opponents face, which was blocked rather easily. However the other punch Mugen launched toward his opponents rib-cage was not blocked. The clone was launched forward as with his hands in an X shaped pattern covering his head. Mugen sprinted forward waving his hands sporadically. He leaped off the ground, onto a tree and with blinding speed somehow ended up behind his opponent, he raised his leg and hit his ankle against the back of the mans neck. As the man now plummeted towards the ground. He pulled his arms back as he put all of his weight onto his opponents back, dislocated the arms of his opponent he then threw him into the sky once more now as the two were falling horizontally and parallel to one another, Mugen held onto his collar and backhanded and slaped his opponent. He then hit his opponent in his sides four more times, left jab and right. Finally he placed his foot on the face of his clone as they began to fall towards the ground he rubbed his foot against the opponents face as his head smashed into the ground. As the clone dissipated Mugen walked out of the shadows his legs still wobbling. "There ya go sensei. I don't think there are any techniques that I don't like they are all superb." said Mugen now done with his drunkard act.

That so, huh? Tell me where a technique like Kage Buyō would be preferable over any of its counterparts. Again; the key to Taijutsu is adaptability and versatility. Some techniques are simply too rigid to have much practical use in our RP. But, of course; if you can argue your case I won't push any further.

I assume your talking about Kage Buyo as a alternative to Lions Barrage and Naruto's Barrage right? I'd have to say it's more likely for the attacks to land, using Kage Buyo it gives stealth to the opponent, and even though it isn't guaranteed it's still there provided the opponent doesn't realize what's happening. Hopefully I understood what you were saying.
