Chihaya's earth chakra rumbles under her skin. As a cool breeze accompanies her, she holds out her hand. She can feel as her energy travels trough her arm and to her palm. She focuses as she begins to create a rock in which grows in size. She stares at a nearby tree and launches the large rock forward. It collides with the tree, snapping it's black bark.

I think this technique is super cool. I really like it because you can chose to spit it in the form of mud and then it hardens. I like variety and I especially like it since it's offensive.

With determination in her eyes, Chihaya slaps together her palms. She concentrates on the ground in front of her, in which a rock lay. She watches it intently as she claps. Then, two large rocks pop up from the ground and launch the idle rock into the air. It flies backwards and disappears amongst the terrain.

I like how all this technique takes to perform is a clap. It's performed quickly and swiftly and easily. Also I could see this being useful.

Chihaya awakens her chakra inside of her and stomps her tiny foot to the ground. Spreading from where her foot stands are fractures in which Chihaya forces the pieces of earth to rise up.

I kind of like this technique. Are the fragments that protrude like, spike looking things?

Chihaya holds out her hands for support as she stares at the ground. She manipulates her chakra and begins rising the earth in a form of a wall. It is solid and proves to be sturdy.

What's the use of having techniques that can be used by multiple of users? If you're fighting one on one this technique wouldn't be too sturdy then? Is there even 2v2 or group fights on NB? :eww:

Hm, they're not exactly spikes. They're like spikes, but they aren't sharp at the edge, they're blunt, so they'd do smashing damage instead of piercing damage.

Eh, the tech can basically be stacked up against each other if used three times to make a stronger defense. At best it'd be a strong B-rank defense, but that's barely anything.

(Doton: Retsudo Tenshō) - Earth Release: Tearing Earth Turning Palm
Rank: B-Rank
Type: Offense
Range: Short/Long
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: 40
Description: After performing the required hand seals Boar → Ox → placing hand on the ground, the user causes the ground surrounding the enemy to spiral inwards on itself, burying them alive or crushing them in a mayhem of jagged rocks. This technique is capable of causing quite a bit of damage to a large area. This technique is much more damaging if used in rocky mountainous areas, or inside a cave.

( Doton: Dosekidake no Jutsu ) - Earth Release: Earth and Stone Bamboo Shoot Technique
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user of this technique condenses the soil and rock in the area to sprout out in the form of four large spikes which attack the target from four separate directions to make it harder to evade. However, it can be easilty avoided by escaping upwards.

(Doton: Iwa Bunshin) - Earth Release: Rock Clone Technique
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user creates their clone out of stone that he spits from his mouth. Unlike other types of clones the rock clones don’t disappear after being defeated but rather crumble like rubble. These clones can also be used to create a clone of other people than themselves but do not take on the abilities of the copied person. They can use up to C-Rank Earth techniques and are very resistant to physical damage such as that from Taijutsu which they can endure up to B-Rank.
Now we're at the really good ones.

(Doton: Retsudo Tenshō) - Earth Release: Tearing Earth Turning Palm
So, this technique is pretty powerful and cool I think. As it not only can cause the enemy to fall inward with it, crushing/burying them. It also destroys quite a bit of the terrain, which can be used as an advantage (or possibly disadvantage I suppose). In battles, I don't think I'd prefer to be in a cave or anything, but if I was this would be a technique I'd consider using. I'd like to try using this on a rocky mountain though. Also, because the move is happening below the users feet, it seems a little more difficult to avoid.. but not too difficult.

( Doton: Dosekidake no Jutsu ) - Earth Release: Earth and Stone Bamboo Shoot Technique
This move explains it's self pretty much. I think it's pretty badass as spikes are pretty dangerous. Also, it's helpful that they attack the target from four different directions. However, as the technique states, it can be easily avoided by escaping upwards. Seeing that the disadvantage is stated in the freaking move, I don't see how this could be too useful to attack with... as the user will just retreat upwards. This however I think might go good with some sort of combo. Like, using the spikes, then dropping earth on them from above or something of that sort.

(Doton: Iwa Bunshin) - Earth Release: Rock Clone Technique
I really like this! Over all the elements, water, fire and wind. I think Earth clones are one of the coolest/best. Because they are quite durable as the description says. There are some pretty average C-ranked earth which I wouldn't mind having a clone perform against my opponent. I also like that the user spits the stone from his mouth that forms the clones. I think I'd attempt to use in a Taijutsu fight or something. I don't really like that it's only short ranged though :/

Yup. It's a rule of thumb that Earth techniques that come from the ground cause rumbling and shaking before they happen so that could be a sign that the technique is about to happen, giving you time to evade.

Exactly right. It's a great idea to have a combo with something from above. My advice is have a Shadow Clone out with you and use something that falls from above and the Bamboo Shot at the same time to make it much harder to avoid and counter.

I think a nice way to use it would be to spew it out as someone tries to engage in Tai. Not the best clone jutsu, but it works well enough.

(Doton: Iwa no Hogo) - Earth Release: Earth Shelter Technique
Rank: B
Type: Defensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user surrounds themselves with earth, taken from the immediate vicinity, in order to fabricate a formation of rock that is capable of protecting both the user and others in close proximity, if desired. Doing so, seemingly leaves the surrounding terrain unaltered, even when the quantity of earth used is enough to form a complete dome around multiple individuals as seen when Ittan used this technique. The user can also manipulate the resulting shelter to have openings in it so as to be able to observe outside, as demonstrated when used by Kitsuchi.

(Doton: Iwa Enchou no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Earth Dome Technique
Rank: B
Type: Defensive, Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description:The user slams his hands on the ground and creates a 1/4 dome of earth, which protects them from frontal external attacks. The domes shape is in a similar fashion to wood release: wood locking walls.

(Doton: Fukusuu no Dorosandan) - Earth Release: Multiple Mudshot Technique
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 20
Damage point: 40
Description: This jutsu is basically a widespread version of the Mudshot Technique; allowing the user to fire at multiple targets.

(Doton: Iwa no Hogo) - Earth Release: Earth Shelter Technique
This is definitely a good defense technique. I could see me using it if I needed to block a certain move that maybe involved projectiles or water or something. It's also pretty great because it can serve to protect multiple people. It's also pretty cool that no matter how much of the earth you use to protect you, it leaves the surrounding terrain undisturbed. Although, I think I'd like it better if the surrounding ground got messed up, cause that's more earth to play with.

(Doton: Iwa Enchou no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Earth Dome Technique
This is kind of the same as the first teachnique, expect it's only 1/4 of protection, which is from the front. I suppose you could use this if the attack was only frontal, but I'd still rather use the whole dome, just encase. Why use only 1/4 when you can have it all?

(Doton: Fukusuu no Dorosandan) - Earth Release: Multiple Mudshot Technique
This technique leaves the Mudshot Technique basically useless. Obviously the user will use this rather than the weaker version right? But this is a pretty cool technique cause you fire multiples of them. A few is always better than just one. It's also great that the range is short-long, not limiting the range at all.

Yup, you'll find that with certain techniques, there are stronger versions that pretty much render the smaller technique not worth using.

(Doton: Dōka Ganseki Sensha) - Earth Release: Assimilated Rock Tank
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: After performing Assimilate all creation technique the user will collect from nearby rocks and create the necessary mass to perform the technique, Additionally using the rock powder to make the technique more damaging. Since the resulting Human Ball is made of a much stronger heavier material.
Note: Must use Assimilate all creation technique beforehand.

(Doton: Doryūha) - Earth Release: Earth Flow Wave
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Mid - Long
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: After performing the required hand seal sequence Rat → Snake → Tiger the user creates and rides a wave of earth that can branch of to attack from a distance. The user can also use the technique to manipulate the terrain and trap the target by wrapping earth round their legs preventing them from moving

(Doton: Doro Ookami) - Earth Release: Mud Wolves
Rank: B
Type: Offensive, Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20 (+10 per reformed wolf)
Damage points: 10 damage per wolf attack
Description: A trap technique in which the user will place somewhere and is activated upon contact with the opponent's chakra. The user uses a scroll to lay the trap in which releases mud that forms into the shape of wolves that will attack the enemy target/s. Despite being damaged the wolves can reform which can keep the enemy occupied to allow the enemy make a getaway. (Can only create a maximum of 3 mud wolves)
Note: Takes one turn to set the trap up and wolves only last two turns

(Doton: Dōka Ganseki Sensha) - Earth Release: Assimilated Rock Tank
I never learned "Assimilate all creation" yet. So I don't exactly understand this technique <_>

(Doton: Doryūha) - Earth Release: Earth Flow Wave
I absolutely love the fact that you can ride this technique. Riding Earth is a cool entry into battle and could prove to serve you well as you can branch it off into an attack. I like the whole, leg grabbing thing. Can the user ride the Earth and grab their legs with the earth at the same time?

(Doton: Doro Ookami) - Earth Release: Mud Wolves
I love the wolf aspect! But I don't really like the trap part. Setting it up and having the opponent step on it. I don't like previously laying down an attack. But I think having wolves made out of mud is pretty cool. The enemy see's you set up the trap right? So they'll be expecting something? But I like that the creatures last two turns.

Wow, I'm so sorry this took so long.

Alright, I'll come back to this when we hit Assimilate.

Nah, you'd have to pick one usage of another unless you have a clone or ally capable of using the jutsu as well.

You can conceal it by burying it. There's Ninjutsu that will let you conceal the tags, but this is a technique that's best used in the Ninja World or while your opponent can't see you.

(Doton no Yoroi) - Earth Release Armor
Rank: B
Type: Defensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20 (-15 per turn to remain active)
Damage points: N/A (+10 to taijutsu moves)
Description: This Technique coats the users body with stones, making them much more resistant to attacks, at the cost of their speed. Whilst using this technique, the user can even change their appearance, but once the technique is either defeated or worn off the users original appearance is shown. The user whilst in this armor is resistant to B rank ninjutsu techniques but is vulnerable to Lightning Techniques.

(Doton: Domu) – Earth Release: Earth Spear Technique
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: N/A (+10 to physical attacks)
Description: After performing the Snake hand seal the user will channel their chakra throughout their entire body, which then hardens their skin to a steel-like quality. This increases their defensive power to the utmost limits. The user’s skin also becomes much darker, an almost black colour. The destructive power of physical attacks is increased, making this a great, all purpose technique. But this technique when activated leaves the user vulnerable to lightning based techniques.
Note: Kakuzu bios can use this technique without the need for handseals

(Doton: Iwa Keiro) – Earth Style: Rock Trail
Rank: B
Type: Attack
Range: Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user slams their hands on the ground and giant rocks rise up and jag the opponent from underneath.

(Doton no Yoroi) - Earth Release Armor
I find this technique pretty useful. Because it slows the user down, I wouldn't use it while moving or anything really. I'd use it to quickly defend against certain low ranked attacks, or B-ranked Ninjutsu. So by changing appearance, it means I can look like a different person?

(Doton: Domu) – Earth Release: Earth Spear Technique
I absolutely love this technique. It only costs one handseal to use it! And you can use the hardened hand/foot/whatever to defend or attack. I like techniques that you can use for a various of purposes. It sucks that lightning will leave the user vulnerable, but I think the good outweighs the bad. This would be good to use with taijutsu I think.

(Doton: Iwa Keiro) – Earth Style: Rock Trail
The simplicity is strong in this technique. I like it haha. Can be performed instantaneously and is pretty straight-forward. It being a B-rank is good and tough, but I see nothing too special about this tech.

Alright I want you to analyze the jutsu, tell me the advantage and disadvantage and a situation to use it in.

Doton: Nentsuchi Otoshi) – Earth Release: Sticky Earth Drop
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short – Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user does 2 handseals (Ram → Snake) and creates an opening within the sky, which drips down onto the opponent a large amount of sticky mud (in all similar to that of Swamp of the Underworld Technique), covering them. The mud is very heavy and thick as well as adhesive, making it impossible to move if caught and easily crushing an enemy underneath. It’s normally followed up by Lightning release: sixteen pillar bind to create a giant oven around the opponent and then using Fire release: Firing biscuit technique to ignite the oven, hardening the mud and immobilizing the enemy target.

(Doton: Otoshibuta) – Earth Release: Dropping Lid
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short-Long
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: After doing the Snake handseal and slamming his hands on the ground, he user creates a portal above the target, high in the sky from which a giant, boar-shaped, earthen lid drops and falls on the target, trapping it underneath. The lid can be hollow or solid, depending on if the user wants to deal damage to the enemy or not. Because of its size, to safely used, the lid has to be created at least mid range from the user otherwise he will also be caught inside. The biggest lid can dwarf a boss summon like Nagato's Dog or Gamabunta.

(Doton Kage Bunshin) – Earth Release Shadow Clone
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: This technique creates a clone made of mud. Since its made of mud, it can continue to reform and mold itself back to its original shape even after taking physical damage (up to C-Rank). An unique use is that after reverting to mud, it can hold the opponent in place as a binding technique. They can also use up to C rank earth techniques.

Analyze? What does that mean exactly? Can I just perform them?

Rebekah wastes no time as she raises her hand after forming the two handseals and cracks open the sky. Gooey mud drips from the opening and covers a small tree that she was aiming for. The baby tree is crushed down to the ground from the mud's heaviness.

I see the disadvantage of the fact that dodging this seems really easy. The time it takes to see the mud and then just sidestep or jump out of the way is easy. However, if you have the opponent distracted that might take away their time to dodge. However, advantage wise is that most Earth tech's come from the actual ground or something. So this one add's uniqueness and the element of surprise as it comes from above. Also, the heaviness and stickiness is great if they're caught in it. I would use this technique in battle as an attack and to have it drop down onto my target and catch them so I can end them.

Rebekah forms one handseal and a big lid drops from the sky. It drops upon a baby tree and keeps it securely locked in.

I really like this technique. I see the advantage that it can be a huge lid and capture a large summon or even just a mere person. Also, only one handseal. The disadvantages would be that, techniques used from above can be easily dodged in my opinion. Especially if it's large and noticeable. I would use this in battle to trap my opponent then maybe attack from under.

Rebekah creates a clone out of mud that lunges towards a tree and punches it. It's hand is broke but it reforms easily. She then has the clone use some D ranked techniques.

I like that this clone is so much better than the average clone. Advantage: It can rebuild after being broken, it can use techniques of it's own. And the binding! Especially the binding. And no handseals. I would say the disadvantage would be that it is limited to C ranks and below. The advantages outweigh the disadvantages for sure. I would use this technique to make a clone which would attempt to attack/bind the opponent just as I attack too.

That's fine by me. Good job. OK with the 2ND technique within the spoiler, there'a something unique about it that I want you to know. And I want you to figure it out...

The young uzumaki spews a powerful torrent of water towards his student. If she doesn't defend from it , she will be crushed by the violent stream.

Whoops lol.

Doton: Doryuheki) - Earth Release: Earth Style Wall Jutsu
Rank: B
Type: Defensive
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user will first perform the Tiger → Hare → Boar → Dog and then creates a solid wall of earth as a form of defense. Chakra is either converted to earth within the body and then spat out to form the wall or the user can manipulate pre-existing earth to form the wall. The earth then instantly rises up and takes form. The barrier itself is also coated with chakra, making its strength incomparable to that of a normal mud wall. Because of the earth's special characteristics, the wall is highly resistant against, for instance, fire and water. Hizuren Sarutobi spits mud from his mouth to perform the jutsu whilst Kakashi creates a wall composed of bulldog sculptures to box-in Pain.

(Doton: Iwagakure no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Hiding in Rock Technique
Rank: B
Type: Defence/Supplementary
Range: Long
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: N/A
Description: This is a technique that allows its user to blend into rocks, move inside them and then move in and out of other rocks undetected. Despite this, Doujutsu and Sensors can still detect the opponent. The limitation of the technique is that it cannot be used to meld into other types of earth than rock or solid earth and its not a very fast technique, despite being faster than Underground Projection Fish technique.
Note: Can only blend through on C rank and below Earth Techniques

(Doton: Doryūsō) - Earth Release: Earth Flow Spears
Rank: B
Type: Offense
Range: Short/Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: 40
Description: The user first performs the Bird hand seal and the user condense mud or stone, from the ground, and shape them into spikes that will protrude from the ground in order to skewer the target. The spikes cannot penetrate targets of greater density.

Rebekaj performs the 4 hand-seals needed and then releases her earth-based chakra from her mouth to create a strong wall of earth.

This Earth wall is dope because for starters it can be created in multiples of ways. Also, it is coated with chakra, granting it extra qualities of strength and can protect the user from Fire and water. The only sad thing really would be that it's short ranged and takes 4 handseals to create.

Rebekah blends into rocks and enters them. She moves from one rock to another secretly.

This jutsu has a lot of disadvantages. One, it's slow. Two, only C ranked or below you can blend into. I don't see myself using any C-ranked earth or below. However it is Long ranked which is useful!

Rebekah slaps one handseal and then shapes the mud from the ground into spokes in which stab up into a bush.

The advantage of this is that it has one handseal!
I would say a disadvantage would be that it comes from below which can be dodged by going up or to the sides.
