(Fūton: Reppūshō) - Wind Release: Gale Palm
Rank: C
Type:Attack/Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: A simple technique that when the users hands are clapped together, wind is compressed and transformed into a powerful gale. This technique, when used as an isolated attack has the power to easily knock over a human. Though the true value comes from using it together with projectile weapons like shuriken or kunai. Their speed, power, and ability to wound or even kill are all increased several times.
(Fūton: Kaiten Shuriken) - Wind Release: Rotating Shuriken
Rank: C
Type:Attack
Range:Short-Mid
Chakra Cost:15
Damage Points:30
Description: This technique will infuse wind-based chakra into bladed weapons. The user can than manipulate the blades in a spinning manner to attack the target.
One thing about the wind element is that it has a unique usefulness when combined with ninja tools. For this next move I want you to infuse wind-based chakra into one of your bladed weapons before manipulating the blades in a spinning manner. Your target is that dummy mid.range to your left.
(Fūton: Daitoppa) - Wind Release: Great Break Through
Rank: C
Type:Attack
Range:Short-Long
Chakra Cost:15
Damage Points:30
Description: This is a relatively simple technique that when the user performs the following hand seals Tiger → Ox → Dog → Rabbit → Snake they create a sudden gust of wind, but its scale varies greatly depending on the user. If used by a superior shinobi, it has enough destructive power to knock down a large tree. The wind from the squall can blow away all things in the user's line of sight. A variation of the technique involves a smaller blast of wind which gets ignited with flame.
Perform 5 hand seals as you channel your wind chakra into the air around you so by the time you finish the hand seals you can create a sudden powerful gust of wind. I have a group of dummies short range to your right over there that you can try this tech on.
FIRST LESSON COUNTERS/DRAWBACKSPerform: Yamato moulds sufficient amount of fuuton chakra into his hands and once he claps them together he releases unfocused but powerful wind.
Uses: Outside battle if you can think of one and inside battle uses. In a battle you can use this jutsu in conjunction with ninja tools such as fuma shuriken, shurikens and kunai's. It's useful because it increases the speed of the ninja tools, so the opponent not only needs to deal with them but also the wind itself. A use for it outside of battle could be clear a path in areas such as a cave with a lot of rubble.
Counters: Normally the opponent can use a fire jutsu to overwhelm it since fire > wind
Combinations: With ninja tools/ water tornados/ genjutsu
Jutsu Rating: 5/10
Perform: Taking out a kunai yamato moulds fuuton chakra and channels through his palm and into the kunai. Once he has infused the kunai with his fuuton chakra he uses shape manipulation to create an extension that makes it look like a sword.
Uses: Outside battle if you can think of one and inside battle uses. For inside battle uses you can use a kunai and this jutsu together to form a sword which can be useful if you don't have one and your opponent does. You can also use it to cut down c-rank earth jutsu's and in some cases you can even through the 'sword' at your opponent. An outside use could be to cut down trees?
Counters: The opponent can defend against this using his own sword or even by keeping his distance since this is a short range jutsu. The opponent can also defend against it using the chidori 10 meter sword to overwhelm it.
Combinations: Only with kunai's and any swords your bio possesses.
Jutsu Rating: 6/10
Perform: Yamato then performs the tiger, ox, dog, rabbit and snake handseals and channels his fuuton into the air in front of him. He then uses that to create a sudden gust of wind which knocks over anything in his line of sight
Uses: Outside battle if you can think of one and inside battle uses. In a battle this jutsu would be useful to redirect any weapons launched by the opponents at them. For example if they launched projectile earth at you or explosive kunai's or anything like that you can use it to redirect it back at them. You can even use it to knock your opponent out of balance if they're performing a series of handseals.
Counters: A simple but effective counter to this would be to use a katon jutsu to overcome it. Or maybe the earth shake jutsu because this jutsu requires handseals you whilst performing them the opponent can knock you out of balance
Combinations: Again water bullets or water waves /ninja tools can be used in conjunction with them
Jutsu Rating: 6/10
sorry bout the late reply. It wont happen again![]()
How to counter:FIRST LESSON COUNTERS/DRAWBACKS
Great now that is out of the way we shall go over some things (sorry I know you hate me. T_T). Once we are done you will no longer need the template and most people enjoy that. The funny thing is you should have the same thought process after this so it is like we did use a template. Now first things first you went over the weaknesses and counters. I find it redundant to continually state Katon(or other things that have a strength to wind) is a counter to fuuton. While in theory this is correct it can be wrong. Some attacks behave differently from others so it might not be that simple. So I want you to tell me how you would/or can theoretically counter these next type of attacks. Since this Is Fuuton keep this in relation to Fuuton, but this should work with any jutsu. With these fundamentals you will be able to even break down drawbacks of custom jutsu you never seen.
Large scaled jutsu: (huge attacks effecting a large area.)
Direct Jutsu: (smaller than large scaled. Coming directly from the user toward enemy)
Omnidirectional Jutsu: (attacks emitted from all around the user)
Immediate attacks: (attacks that start at your current area and do not necessarily travel from the enemy to you)
More Fuuton Related:
This next list includes Fuuton specific type attacks. List drawbacks of each one.
Blade styled: Many Fuuton styled attacks take on sharp blade/slicing properties
Vortex: As it says many wind style attacks take the shape of a small/or large vortex
Gust: Some wind style attacks are a simple but powerful gust capable of blowing enemies back
Suction:This style of attack draws enemies/objects in by using wind to suck them in.
I made some notes in the quote (rhymed yay!)How to counter:
Large scaled jutsu - Large scaled jutsus often obstruct your opponent's vision from you. You can take advantage of this by several ways. One is that you can go underground and strike from there. Also since your opponent can't see you, you can freely perform hand-seals without intervention albeit you have to do it quickly since there's an incoming attack. With these hand-seals you should aim to use a jutsu that summons above, beneath or behind the opponent. And they can't see you perform hand-seals therefore they would be taken by surprise. This is a good way to force your opponent to go defensive; after this move you should be aiming to keep cornering him to the point they would make time frame mistakes and taking advantage of those.
If there is an incoming attack you would have to neaturalize the threat rather than focusing on the enemy less you be dead and the opponent just has to counter. But yeah if they cant see it can be helpful.
Directed - I don't think there's any special way to counter these sort of jutsus other than doing it the conventional way. However, since they are only directed, you always have the option of using moving out of the way
Exactly since the trajectory cant be changed you are able to dodge but on the other hand using this kind of jutsu allows you to perform combos.
Omnidirectional - They tend to be very powerful and a nuisance to defend against (unless it's shinra tensei in which case you're ****ed) . Apart from defending against it, I would know a special way to counter it except by using jutsus based on the opposite jutsu. Though I suppose that you could use earth jutsus such as moving core or spike etc since they're much faster because they don't have to 'travel' towards them.
Yeah if someone uses an omnidirectional attack emiting from themselves you just have to attack from your vantage point if it can reach your range. If not you just simply overpower it by any means. If it reaches your range you can also use defensive type jutsus. If you are attacked in the sense of an attack that converges on ll directions then you just use an omnidirectional attack/defense yourself.
Immediate - Well for one immediate earth jutsus are easy to detect because usually the ground beneath you shakes. Lightning jutsu's that shoot down from the clouds can be heard/seen etc etc. The drawback of these immediate attacks is that they're usual not very strong and won't give you much trouble if used against you.
Well I have an S rank lightning jutsu that shoots out from the ground and an S rank fire jutsu that does the same. (It also attacks the entire mid-long ranges). Kirin attacks directly so they can be quite strong. 0_0. The bad part is they cant be used to counter attacks heading toward them so as long as an enemy has an attack coming his way it would be hard to use these without risk.
Drawbacks:
Blade styled - Although they are very sharp and have good cutting power, a draw back of that is they don't cover much area and can be easily defended against. These are also vulnerable to large scaled attacks.
Pretty much. Can't expect a blade to protect you from a firestorm. LOL
Vortex - Wind based vortexes are not very good in terms of speed. They are very slow and take foreverrrr! @_@ The opponent has ample time to defend or counter attacks. It doesn't help you in most situations compared to attacks that force the opponent to stop what they're doing and defend.
Not necessarily take forever to cast but they do have ample time to defend or use a firebased jutsu to turn this against you.
Gust - Even though they can cover a large scale they're often not 'focused' or as 'sharp' as a blade styled wind attack. It's designed to knock things over thus can easily be countered with equal force.
Yeah the brute force can knock things over but it is not as deadly as a sharp wind.
Suction - Whilst it may seem power if misused they can be fatal to the user. By fatal I mean the opponent always has the choice to launch things at you like a strong fire ball or a stream of fire or multiple ninja tools, and since you're sucking everything towards you you're liable to attacks that come with it - especially since the suction increases the speed of the opponent's attack, thus forcing you to cancel the jutsu and resort to gust based attacks.
Yeah this can backfire pun not intended.

sorry for the wait! x.x i've just started a 3 week holiday so i'll should reply within the next day or so e_e
