Alright, tell me what Water is, in a real life context and also, in a Naruto Verse context? Add anything you'll feel is relevant, from its strengths and weaknesses, notable users of it, how you would use it in battle, etc.

Water is one of the five basic elemental nature transformations, the user is capable of manipulating existing water or producing water through their chakras. The element is weak to Earth, due to the fact that earth is capable of absorbing water, and stronger than fire since water can absorb/steal the energy from fire. Some notable users of Suiton would be Suigetsu, Kisame, and the Mizukage. Water can be combined with other elements to create unique kekkei genkais. Such as Ice, which is a combination of water and wind. Storm a combination of lightning and water, an boil release that combines water and fire. In the real world water is H20 a compound that is both basic and acidic in nature, making it a very useful compound. It also very useful as a solvent, which can dissolve other compounds such as salt and sugar. Water is an absolute necessity to almost all of known life. In short water is awesome. It is capable of cutting almost anything if its fast enough. It has both offensive and defensive uses, but it most useful as an attack, if the user manipulates the enviornment then the battle is in his hands.

Very good, and yes, Water is indeed quite cool. There have been some shinobi who have shown that it is possible to only use Water and still dominate their opponents. Good explanation too, Water is strong to Fire since it douses the Fire but weak to Earth due to its strong an sturdy structure. Nonetheless, Water can be offensive, defensive as well as supplementary. It also comes forth in different forms, from normal water manipulation, to oil based forms, sticky water and even mist, to name a few. All these will come forth during training.

My training is quite simple, I will ask you to analyze a technique I had explained. In this analysis, you will give me some strengths and weaknesses of Water, how it can be used in battle and anything else that you feel is relevant to the technique, and questions too if you have any. Don't hesitate to ask. Ready to begin?

Alright, let's begin.

Rank: D
Type: Supplementary/Attack/Defence
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 10
Damage Points:20
Description: Creates small waves of water, small blasts, and small shields of water.
Note: Doesn't require a water source but can be used to manipulate existing water.

Manipulate your Water based chakra, and focus it either into an existing Water source or simply use it without one. Focus it to your hands, and release outwards, small blasts of Water which causes very little damage, or form small shields of Water. However, on a Water source, one is able to make small waves, maybe to disrupt the opponent's footing, and cause menial damage. Not very versatile, though it depends of how you use it.

Hmm, a useful technique indeed it's greatest strength would have to be it's versatility. I can create projectiles, constructs, blasts and etc. However since it's low in rank it won't cause considerable damage and can easily be defended by the earth release technique. However it is effective against the fire release technique. I would use the water release technique primarily for defending against D rank techniques other than earth, and to set up attacks water is basic and acidic, meaning it does have some slippery property I can use it to distract and cause a little bit of damage, or preoccupy the opponent with it while I make a stronger attack. It would be great to start off the battle without using too much chakra.

Very good, keep that up.

Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Long
Chakra Cost: 10
Damage Points: N/A
Description: This displacement technique creates a thick mist to spring forth by lifting up some water from either a pre-existing source or expelled from their mouth, then goes in and out of sight at will from within the pearly-white realm. The mist's thickness is controlled by the amount of chakra kneaded into it. It can't fool the Byakugan, but, due to the mist being created with the user's chakra, any Sharingan and Rinnegan-user will see the mist coloured by their opponent's chakra, which will effectively hide the user from the dōjutsu.
Note: Can be created through releasing from mouth or manipulating a nearby water source.

An even more versatile technique, and one of considerable power if used right. I see you are from Kirigakure, so this is a must have. Nonetheless, with this technique you will manipulate your Water based chakra and either from expelling it from your mouth, or lifting some Water from a Water source, create a thick mist. This mist covers the battlefield, and makes it impossible for those with the Rinnegan or Sharingan to see through, however, the Byakugan can still see. Except for merely blinding your opponent, its also useful if you have some Mist based techniques, or simply want to escape. Be wary though, if you don't have sensory, the opponent might use your own mist against you.

Quite useful indeed, its greatest strength would most likely be its effect against Uchiha, which will effect their accuracy. I'm not sure if we're allowed to see through it. I would most likely create it before attack and attack as the mist is forming. That way I can be sure of my accuracy, and the opponent wouldn't be as secure as I am. Its effective as a pause period, it can change the pace of the battle significantly as well.

Good job, now the last two D rank techniques.

Rank: D
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 10
Damage Points: 20
Description: A technique that utilizes water to create a sword. The sword can be wielded in the normal fashion, allowing the ninja to cut and stab like with a normal blade.
Note: Doesn't require a water source.

A simple technique where you will manipulate your Water based chakra, to manifest a sword that is made of Water. However, this sword has some form of solidity to it, allowing it to act like a normal blade in fights, whereas it can cut the opponent, or be used to perform Kenjutsu techniques which don't require chakra. Of course, its still pretty weak, but at least doesn't require hand seals or a Water source.

Rank: D
Type: Supplementary, Defence
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 10
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user will manipulate their water chakra and releasing it from their arm which is held outwards infront of them and they then create a shield of water that can aide in defence against projectile weapons and close combat techniques.

After that, manipulate your Water chakra, and release it from your arm, outwards. This allows you to create a shield of Water, that can be used to protect you against some smaller weapons, or weak Taijutsu techniques, like free form things. Nonetheless, the shield seems to be useful in certain situations, though its kinda useless as the first technique can create shields too.

Hm simple enough I'd have to say the first technique would be most useful to someone as creative as me. It's greatest strength would be it's low chakra cost for all it's possibilities a bladed weapon can do a lot of things, act as a distraction, a trap or just plain and simple a weapon for me to lob someone's head off. The second is a great low rank shield and thats all to be honest.

Indeed, it can also act as a small water source for small D rank Water techniques xD.

Rank: C
Type: Offensive, supplementary
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: After the user performs a series of 3 hand seals Rat → Dog → Ox, the user creates a whip of water that can be used to strike the opponent with a lashing action or wrap around the target to bind them. This technique can also have lightning techniques channeled through when they have bound their victim with the water whip.

Form three hand seals, and manipulate your Water based chakra and release from your mouth some Water which you form into a whip. This whip can be used to strike an opponent, or bind them with it. Of course, an alternative use of the whip is to channel some Lightning chakra through it to shock the opponent that has been binded. It's not very strong though.

Rank: C
Range: Short/Long
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user After performing the required hand seals Ram → Tiger spits out high-viscosity, chakra infused water, aimed at a surface of wide scope. This is a stream of sticky liquid which can be used to form an adhesive trap that can inhibit a person's mobility. One can effectively reduce their enemy's area of activity with this technique, and has the effect of being able to take complete control over the battlefield. The normal scope of this technique is normally just a few metres, but if prepared, it is also possible to make an entire pond of starch syrup. Being caught in the technique can be avoided by channelling chakra to one's feet allowing one to walk upon it uninhibited, beforehand.

A very cool technique where you form the two hand seals, and manipulate your Water based chakra. You will then spit out a high-viscosity chakra infused Water, which covers a large area as it is released. Its sticky in nature, and acts as an adhesive trap to trap the opponent in. It can be used for some other things too if you are creative.

The water whip's greatest strength would have to be the fact that it is able to trap the opponent, and cause damage at the same time. However it does have a series of hand-seals, and I think the lightning current can be directed from opponent to user as well. The Syrup Capture is also really dependent on the user and his creativity, the more creative the user the greater range of uses. I think it would be useful if the user had time to create his attack plan, however if it was anticipated it is easily avoided.

Good job.

Rank: C
Range: Short
Type: Supplementary
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: After performing the Tiger hand seal the user creates a clone of themselves made of water. These water clones have 1/10th of the users chakra. These clones are also limited in that they can only travel short range from the user without losing control. When a water clone take enough damage they revert back to normal water.
Note: Can only perform up to C rank Water techniques and requires a water source.

Now, a technique which requires a Water source. You will form the Tiger hand seal, and create a clone of yourself. This clone is totally made of Water, and are able to use C rank Water, and below. The clone can only stay short range of the user, if it goes further, it will become normal Water once more, as well as when it reverts back.

Rank: C
Range: Short
Type: Offense
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: A technique that deals physical damage to the enemy with a liquid mass brought forth from underwater. Its power to kill and maim is augmented by adding a spinning motion to the compactly pressured water. During fights on water, taking advantage of its characteristic ability to attack from anywhere in a 360 degrees radius, in conjunction with other techniques for distraction, confusion and so forth, this technique has an extensive array of applications.
Note: Requires a water source.

Another technique which you will use on a Water source. You will add spinning motion to the Water, and bring it out, to strike the opponent with a drill like motion of Water. This can be brought out anywhere, and either be used to cause confusion, or simply for distraction.

1. The first technique is awesome in that it literally creates another you, another threat for the opponent to deal with however the chakra costs could be extensive. It also has to stay within short range, so a wide range attack could take out both the user and the clone. Also they can't create coordinated attacks as well due to the limited distance between the two. I would use this technique when I'm in close range with my opponent. I would probably use it in conjunction with Sticky Syrup.

2. The biggest advantage the technique has is that it can come anywhere from underwater. Meaning if the user is underwater his life is prolly over. It is pretty easy to dodge but the follow-up technique is key. If the fang only grazes or even misses it won't matter if the opponent is off balance or put in a vulnerable state. Unfortunately it can only be underwater meaning if the user isn't underwater then ehh.. It isn't as great.

Good job, next ones.

Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15(-3 each turn to keep it active)
Damage Points: N/A
Description: Using the hidden mist jutsu the user reflects the natural light an a way that it blinds there opponent temporarily as long as the opponent is in the mist.
Note: Must have already used hidden mist jutsu

A technique that is used after the Hidden Mist Technique, where you will reflect the natural light. This light blinds the opponent temporarily, whilst they are in the mist. A pretty cool technique.

Rank: C-B-Rank
Type: Offensive, Supplementary
Range: Short-Long
Chakra Cost: 15-20
Damage Points: 30-40
Descripton: This technique allows the user after claping their hands together to make a spiralling vortex of water to form around them out of nowhere in a vortex like manner. The vortex then proceeds to cascade into an wave of water that rampages towards the intended target or all around. The size and power of the technique is dictated by the amount of chakra put into the technique, varying from C-rank to B-Rank.

Another cool one, where you will manipulate your Water based chakra and clap your hands together. This allows you to create a vortex of Water around you, materializing out of nowhere. This vortex cascades into a wave of water that rampages towards the opponent, or all around you. It can be C or B rank, though for now, you can only use the C rank version.

1. Of course the first technique is awesome that it can actually blind the opponent allowing the user to set up for other strong attacks. I would use it before a technique like sticky syrup and follow that up with a water fang. That combo would be sick. However I don't believe this techique would do much to someone like a Inuzuka or anyone that has dojutsu since they have more than just their sense of sight in a way.

2. First and biggest advantage of this technique is that you're free to control where it appears from. Second biggest would be the choice you have when using it you can either use it at C rank or B rank. However it's fairly easy to dodge.

Remember that it materializes Short range around you.

Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Long
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: A perception ninjutsu, allowing one to freely manipulate rain infused with the user's own chakra after waving the Bird → Rat → Ox → Monkey → Rat → Snake hand seals. The rain falls from rain clouds, formed with the users own chakra. During this technique, the falling raindrops are closely linked to the users senses. When the rain is obstructed by a chakra belonging to someone the existence of the target can be detected. The rain will keep on falling until the user uses the seal to cancel it.

The technique mostly used by those who have no form of sensing. After forming the hand seals, you will cause rain clouds to form, and from it, rain will fall (duh z,z). Nonetheless, this rain is linked to your senses, and if the rain is obstructed by chakra belonging to someone, you will notice it and the target can be detected. Pretty cool technique.

Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: This technique is used to trap a victim inside a virtually inescapable sphere of water by waving the Snake → Ram → Horse → Hare → Ram → Horse → Hare → Hands spread in front palms out. The only downside to this technique is that the user must keep at least one arm inside the sphere at all times in order for the victim to remain imprisoned. This technique requires a sufficient amount of water, which can be provided by expelling it from one's mouth. Once trapped the target is unable to move while within it due to the heaviness of the water. Because of the density of the water it can be used, to a limited extent, for defensive purposes if performed on oneself. Water clones can be used in preparation for the technique, which block an opponent's attack and trap the attacker in the prison using the clone's own water.

That technique used by Zabuza way back, where you will form hand seals, and spread your palms out and create a prison of Water to trap someone within it. However, your arm must remain within it, plus the technique requires some Water, so this can be provided by expelling it from your mouth. Quite simple, and not very useful to be honest.
