Windows 7 sound problems

ok i got this damn problem when i installed Windows 7, everytime i listen to a song or watch a movie, the sound starts playing and stoping over and over again, i downloaded the sound card drivers cause my motherboard DVD couldnt run on Windows 7, and game sounds run fine.

So if anybody got the same problem tell me and i will rep you

nope have not heard of any problems with windows 7 have u tried maybe using a different speaker?

They are actually headphones and they are new xD

I have Windows 7 for my laptop, and the sound sounds (xD) fine to me.

Check your codecs to when I was beta testing windows 7 ffdshow messes up and so does k-lite as well. Did you upgrade from vista its known to cause some issues, and check your device drivers to make sure there win 7 compatible other then that everything should work but if all else fails use another media player(besides windows media player) and make sure your current player is up to date and compatible with win7.

I downloaded the latest codects like K-lite that suports Vista and Win7, maybe its a bug

Why K-Lite :/ I would have gone with Realtik, or High Definition Audio

dont install windows xp/vista drivers(the ones you got burned on cd's when you bought your pc/laptop) cause you will get compatibility issues and driver wont work right even if does not show any warning/error

I know i downlaoded them from oficiall sites like Realtek and Nvidia but it doesnt work
