I know that Wind is a part of the basic 5(duh). It is strong against lightning because it can easily disperse the particles and weak to fire as oxygen(wind, essentially) helps the fire grow even larger. With water it can be made into the awesome Ice release if mastered. First popular wind release user was Temari!

Ok. If I see you using a justu wrong I'm going to kill you. For the first justu create a gust of wind which picks up loose sand and other small materials. This can be used to partially absucre your opponents vision, as well as providing some cover for you to run with.

I start to circulate my wind chakra to create a small tornado-like funnel. The small-tornado-like-funnel picks up small sticks, dirt and loose grass that is sitting around me. The gust blocks the sensei's view of me.

I was looking for something quick. An earth or water justu that is generated near you opponent would quickly take advantage of the distraction created by the wind. For the next justu create a small rumbling wall of wind that is able to pick up small tools and weaponry and dispose of them.

Description: User creates a wall of spinning wind in front of him that is used to push back weapons thrown towards him. It can also be used against taijutsu close range attacks, but the wall can be pushed back with a stronger wind jutsu or if a smoke bomb or explosive tag touches the spinning wind they will automatically get activated because of the sharpness of the wind element, damaging the user also.

I ask my sensei to stand 20 yards away from me and throw a kunai when I'm ready. Once I generate my wind chakra in front of me, a medium-sized wall appears that is moving with wind chakra. Sensei throws his kunai at it, not affecting the wall at all and getting tossed to the ground.

Good. Next justu. For the next one blow out a stream of wind strong enough to fling you in a different direction while you are mid air or needing to evade an attack. Very helpfull justu. So Imagine you are launched into the air and I fire a S rank lightning arrow at you, evade it used this justu.
