It's been a while since I taught, so go easy on me ;)

Earth it is then.

Now tell me, in your own terms, what is Earth? And what is it in relation to chakra and us as Shinobi?

Earth along with water is what makes up the surface of over plants. Earth itself contains many ,minerals along with organic matter. Earth itself contains many types of rocks such as, Igneous, Sedimentary and Metamorphic rocks. All present in the earth. While Earth's in relation to shinobi and chakra is that it's one of the 5 basic elemental nature transformations. Earth release can be used to manipulate the pre existing earth or can eb used to produced, earth, dirt, mud and rock, while is seems to be the most defensive out of the base 5 elements having multiple techniques to defend yourself with, while earth release can be used to supplement people making them lighter or heavier.

Good. Earth release is versatile because it can be found almost anywhere. More often than not you'll be fighting on an earthen surface, and if not then you can even produce some from your body, though it wouldn't be much. A majority of earth techniques require you to make contact with the ground by either slamming or stomping the ground, so contact with the surface will serve to your advantage.

Now I need you to tell me about the weaknesses and strengths of Earth.

In the Narutoverse earth release just like every other base 5 elements it is strong and weak to one of it's based 5 counter parts. Earth release is strong against water release attacks, meaning that you could easily stop a water release move with an earth release move of the same rank or even one below. While earth is weak to lightning in the Narutoverse, meaning earth moves can be destroyed by lightning moves one rank below it. Please tell me if you want to deeper and stem out of Narutoverse weaknesses and apply some real life examples.

Due to its tough and robust nature, earth release is best suited for being used defensive. Don't get me wrong, it can be used in many different ways, but it's sturdiness makes it ideal to deal with other techniques. As you said, it is indeed strong against water and weak to lightning, but sometimes the situation dictates, so alway keep in mind the size of your opponent's techniques when using earth to counter.

Earth is neutral to both wind and fire, and a mixture of them brings about the creation of entirely new elements:

Mixing earth and water chakra creates wood.
Mixing earth and fire chakra creates Lava.
Mixing earth, fire, and wind chakra creates dust.

Each of those are KG, so you don't have to worry about them for now.

With that being said, let's begin from where you left off in your previous training. Make four handseals and place your hand against the earth and channel chakra therein. This will cause a pillar of earth to rise up, and once it does you'll focus raiton chakra in this pillar in order to charge it with electricity, which will be discharged all around it and shock anyone in the vicinity.

Zhoom weaves four hand seals while he starts to channel earth chakra. Once the chakra is gathered Zhoom slams his hands on the ground beneth him causing a pillar to raise up, as soon as he does this he started to gather raiton chakra and send it through the pillar causing electricty to emit from the pillar and burst out.

Range: Short - Mid (Short for electric bolts)

Description: The user will make a set of four hand seals and then will place their hand on the ground to create a pillar of earth to rise up from the ground. This pillar is then given a electrical charge that causes electric bolts to be emitted from the pillar up to short range from the pillar, shocking any targets in the vicinity.

This time I want you to focus your chakra into the earth to create two fairly large floating cubes of earth. They'll be about two meters on all sides, and will rotate around you to defend from incoming attacks, but you need to direct them via hand movements. Each cube has C-ran strength, and you could also use the momentum created by the cube's rotation to launch it towards an opponent with incredible speed.

Zhoom slams his hands onto the floor and starts moulding chakra into the ground. As he does this two cubes of earth rise out of the ground and start to float around him, as they're floaing Zhoom sticks his hand outwards sending the rock flying into the distance.

You don't necessarily need to slam your hands to the ground to create the rocks. By channeling chakra into the ground through your legs, you can achieve the same effects.

(Doton: Ukiwagan no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Floating Ring Rock Technique

Range: Short - Long

Description: The user focuses his chakra and channels into the earth to create 2 large floating rock cubes 2 meters squared. The cubes rotate around the user to either defend him from incoming attacks (he needs to direct them using hand movements towards the attack and each cube has a C-Rank strength) or, through using the momentum created by the rotation, be flung at the enemy with incredible speed.

For the next one you'll perform three handseals and place your hand to the ground, which will cause a circular arena to surround a target of your choosing. The arena will be four meters high, span fifteen meters around, and will be reinforced with chakra. You can also lock yourself inside it if necessary, but keep in mind that it'll disappear if hit with techniques above C rank.

Zhoom begins to mould chakra while he's moulding the chakra he begins to weave 3 hand seals while applying nature transformation to his chakra. Once the chakra has been amde into earth nature chakra he slams his hand on the floor making an arena appear around him.

Description: After first performing the required hand seals Ram → Dog → Rat the user then places their hand on the ground. This causes a circular arena to surround the target, spanning 15 meters around him and being 4 meters high. The floor, the walls and the ceiling are all chakra reenforced and the user can also lock himself inside if he so pleases. If these prison receives any damage above C-Rank, they disappear in a puff of smoke.
For the next technique you'll form five hand seals and slam your hands to the ground, which will cause the earth to erupt up or down below your opponent's feet. You can also create barricades by creating large trenches or linear elevations that would take quite some time for a normal person to climb.

Zhoom starts by moulding chakra throughout his body while he weaves five hand seals. As he's weaving the seals he begins to apply nature transformation to them turning them into earth nature chakra as he slams hs hands on the ground, casuing the gournd to erupt upwards.


What's the maximum height one would be able to elevate the earth to?

Since the maximum range of the technique is mid, then I'd say that ten meters is the maximum height that it can be elevated, and the same can be said for the depression you create in the ground.

Description: After forming the necessary hand seals Rabbit → Boar → Rat → Horse → Tiger , the user slams their hands into the ground which causes the earth to erupt upwards or downwards below their target's feet. This technique can also effectively create barricades by creating large trenches or linear elevations that would take quite some time for a regular person to surmount.
For the next technique you'll manipulates your earth chakra creating three large rocks in before you. After the rocks are created you'll launch them from three different angle, but they'll each converge before your opponent and smash into each other, causing segments to start protruding due to the collision and damage the opponent.

Zhoom starts moulding chakra again applying earth nature to the chakra he's moulding which in turn forms 3 large rocks before him. Zhoom starts to manipulate the rocks causing them to fly through the air causing them to all smash into each other all at different angles, this causes them crashing into each other at high speeds, causing multiple pretrudemnts.

No worries. Anyway, that was the last B ranked technique. Welcome to the real world.

This is a stronger version of the Mudwall technique. Instead of creating a single wall, you'll create more. I want you to slam your hands to the ground and use a pre-existing source of earth ( the ground), and create multiple walls of earth to further fortify your defenses.

Description: Like the parent technique, it creates a reinforced wall of earth to be used as a defensive mechanism. However, the technique works in a different manner. Using a pre-existing source of earth, it allows the user to create multiple walls of earth, further fortifying their defense instead of forming a single wall, by slamming his hands on the ground.

Ready for A ranks now?

Bite your thumb and perform five hand seals before slamming your hand into a scroll that you'd have placed on the ground before. This will result in you summoning a large amount of rock from a giant canyon that, during the process of being summoned, you can shape into a design that would have been outlined in the scroll. Basically this allows you to change the topography of the terrain you're fighting on, and create any feature your need. This can range from pillars, to gorges, canyons, etc. This transformation to the terrain ends whenever you want it to, or if you're defeated, but since it's a summoning it will eventually end after 4 turns.

The next technique is used after the first technique. You'll perform two handseals before slamming your hands on the ground and focus your earth chakra. By doing this you can change the design of the original terrain, but can only do this three times per battle.
