Wind is strong against lightning style moves, but is weak against fire style move and makes the fire style moves stronger. Wind can help shinobi in many ways. One is that it can slice an enemys body and another is that it can magnify the power of a kunai by speeding up. A canon wind user is asuma and a wind move i would like to learn is Fuuton: Kami Oroshi (Wind Style: Divine Wind From The Moutain).alright then.

Wind can simply cut through the lightning. with its sharpness, it can cut through pure lightning. this is my thought, but there is probably some other reasons too. You may be correct.

Try to focus your widn charka into this leaf. You might not seceed right away, but keep trying. Imagine your chakra cutting through the leaf(which it should anywys)

*I start to apply wind chakra into the tips of my hands. Then i kick the bag into the air and the leaves go flying everywhere.*
Wish me luck i am going to hit them all before they touch the ground.
*I then start splitting the leaves by hitting them with the tips of my fingers and sending wind chakra into them. As i hit what i think is the last leaf i see one leaf at the edge of my eye falling so i quickly rush over and dive so that i hit it before it hits the ground.*

*I preform the handsigns you showed me and then send some of my wind chakra into the ground and then start to pick up grains of sand from the ground. Then i start to send them at a meeting point until finally there is waht looks like a ball of sand in the air.*
