In real life you can breath with Fuuton/Air give's the power to let Birds fly. The rarest of the five basic elemental chakra natures, wind techniques are suited for short-to-mid-range combat, and combine brute force and precision to deal cutting and slashing damage.
Wind is naturally strong against lightning techniques, and likewise naturally weak against fire techniques. In the case of a combination, it augments the strength of a fire technique as well as increases the concussive power of a water technique.

Yes. Alright. We'll get more complicated and stronger jutsus later, so this is rather straightforward. Congratulations on your first Wind Jutsu. 
I want you now to begin sending your chakra to the air around you and begin spinning it as a shield over your body. Make sure to keep steady control of the acceleration. In a few moments, when I see that you have maintained of this jutsu, I will then toss kunais at you to see if it is strong enough. Also, keep in mind that it needs to be accelerating at a speed fast enough to also push back basic Taijutsu.

Exactly. Please keep in mind that wind is weak to fire, thus, resulting in you being damaged by the exploding kunais.
