Will Sasuke ever live up to his name?

Sasuke was named after Hiruzen's father "Sasuke Sarutobi" (Actually a famous shinobi in Japanese folklore) in hopes that he will become a great shinobi one day.
Of course Sasuke is awesome as he is now, I mean Kishi is constantly pushing the new Sannin thing, but do you think he will ever live up to the name and become a world renowned Shinobi.

Someone's mad cuz Sasuke>Neji, or that Sasuke is vital to the plot and Neji got killed by a toothpick.

Does no one here remember that ninjas regularly kill and torture each other for their village's or their own selfish needs and desires? Gaara did worse than Sasuke, and he's not considered a disgrace.

Hard to tell at this point, though what he is planning... or rather seems like what he is planning, well to be honest he hasn't changed much. He assumes and does shit without thinking it all the way through, it's been his main flaw throughout the manga, that an arrogance(which ties into what I said as well). Until he changes that and sees the whole picture, which for all we know he might when Naruto talks to him next update... then I don't see him actually fully "growing up" and fully living up to the name.

The only thing Sasuke is renowned for is being a missing nin being, dangerous, and being a MS/EMS user. Hiruzen's father was renowned for skill and I'm sure was a top general in a few wars... so.
