There seems to be a unity of light and darkness within Sasuke after the Eien no Mangekyou recovery and how knows how that will play out in terms of whether it can effect his personality, etc.

Nevertheless with all that Naruto stated in his brief conversation with Sasuke, it appears that he understands him completely and continues to strive to change him without waver. I think that all Kishi has done with Sasuke's character speaks for itself and if he is indeed unable to turn back and or dies then the main purpose of this manga will have been for naught.

As someone has stated earlier he never trusted Madara from the beginning as he desired confirmation from Danzou. Since then Sasuke has excelled far deeper within the darkness as well as his unstable mentality therefore making it that much easier for Madara to manipulate. However, taking into account what has currently happened with Sasuke, I think there is a chance he may still betray him.​
