Nope, because Sarada is a Uchiha Hokage in the making and doesn't have time for the asthmatic breathing problems of Team 7.

- The strength and maturity of late-game Sasuke.
- Actual human decency & schoolsmart attitude of Sakura. Which means, yes- best of both worlds, we haven't got another tired sociopathic Uchiha cliche on our hands.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the reason NB treats Sarada like SAKURA Mark II than SASUKE Mark II is because of her gender. Must be hard to imprint yourselves in a power fantasy when they've got long eyelashes and the boobies.

Sarada overcame her arc more maturely at the age of 11 than Sasuke, Naruto and Sakura did over a series combined lol. Really, it all depends on whether the new author is as respectful as Kishi, which going by the costume redesign- seems unlikely.

Well, generally- NB is very loud about how fodder the female characters are. It's not exactly debatable. Sabre is an off-chance exception.

I'd like to see Kishi's theme of repetition stacked up against his absolute boner for anything Uchiha. Sarada's caught in the middle.

I'm not against what you're saying nor disagree, Sarada's great in everything so far and just needs to keep up what's she's doing with the new writer. It really does seem more like his call, and it's the maturity of Naruto Gaiden that made me fall in love with Sarada. Kishi's writing.

Sarada character was a fodder anyway. Kishi tried to play love doctor SS in gaiden, it did not work. All that sarada maturity was a folly, sarada is sakura clone period, not sasuke clone. Sarada been wit sakura most of life, she will share most of sakura personality not sasuke.

'Did not get it' I'm sorry, did I not have the reading comprehension for a shounen manga lol? Of course it was about the Uchiha family struggle, a conflict for Sarada that she deals with very maturely for a 11 year old.

Kishi's writing style has gotten more mature in the late game. That's all I was a fan of. Sakura was too busy pining after boys and had no ambition as a young girl. Sarada's aiming for Hokage and was likely the strongest person in that Chunnin exam arena. The plot just didn't focus on her so we didn't see the others' results. No folly about it.
