Bro I think you have to realize that the Naruto writing is not top notch, and Kishimoto loves to repeat themes.
Naruto's entire story is a repeat of other stories inside of if. I mean look at how many Hokage wannabes are in the story itself lol..
We shouldn't expect much via character development/growth.
Especially for the male and female leads. It's either about power, or romance nowadays sadly

I'd like to see Kishi's theme of repetition stacked up against his absolute boner for anything Uchiha. Sarada's caught in the middle.
I'm not against what you're saying nor disagree, Sarada's great in everything so far and just needs to keep up what's she's doing with the new writer. It really does seem more like his call, and it's the maturity of Naruto Gaiden that made me fall in love with Sarada. Kishi's writing.
Kishimoto switched his boner to Otsusuki and lame Rinnegan mid way through the ending.
Kishimoto's writing is very low tier nowadays. I don't know how people can love the half assed stories he gives us
The new authors need to man up and give us something different, but Kishimoto is the one who keeps things the same

As the guy who gave us Sarada and Boruto's stories, I can't agree there. Madara/Kaguya was some of the worst storyteling i've ever seen but once he dug himself out of the writing hole, he delivered some great stories to the series 'Boruto' and 'Naruto Gaiden' were some of my favourite additions. I'm genuinely sad the first thing the new mangaka does is sexualise a 12 year old lol.
No surprises as to whats going to happen next, which'll validate NB's strange testosterone-hatred for badass female characters. Should've given the writing to Kakashi or Konoha Hiden's author.
Bro. I have to be honest, Naruto Gaiden/Boruto movie were terrible. The plot(s) were retarded.
Mainly the entire family drama dealing with Sasuke's mission, and Naruto not being able to be there cause "reasons".
The only interesting aspects to these stories were the endings, but I don't necessarily think that it shows promise.
Like what kind of great story can they create from daddy problems as the foundation? I'm more afraid, than excited.
Cause the self inserts from Kishimoto, the rehashed themes, and the new villian don't really draw you in for a 'new' journey.
Im disappointed thus far.
