If Naruto dies, I'd say yes because Sakura would be just a good as Tsunade as a Kage, since she'll eventually surpass her. Next I would think Shikamaru, but he's like Kakashi, who doesn't really want the responsibility unless forced upon him. But out of all the rookies, Sakura is the most likely choice for Kage.

I am a Sakura fan but she lacks the skills atm to be a Kage.
However if she would get:
Byakugo.
Slug contract.
Slug sage mode.
Some genjutsus (area she has talent in).

Or some or one of these, than she could have a shot at it imo, cause she would rival Tsunade, who is a kage.

Actually, I'd argue that. In the Pein Arc, after Hinata got killed, she quickly formed a plan into getting Hinata back and save her, put the rest of the villagers to safety given she knew about the Kyuubi chakra as well as formulating a plan into getting Yamato to deal with Naruto. Leadership skills are there. Ambition is there as well. That she wouldn't want that, it's another thing, but same can be said for Shika, for example. Although he clearly lacks the ambition.

She didn't poisoned them, she put them to sleep in order to protect them and deal with Sasuke alone. She knew this would turn into something dangerous and didn't want the others to get mixed with. So, sorry, have to argue about that. It was a responsible move, there.

Be honest , Sakura has made very stupid mistakes and has to be saved countless times. Another thing if she going to be hokage she needs to get her head straight and stop crying for sauke's D.

Good points! I never really looked deeply into that, but yes, she showed great potential as a leader during the invasion.

I think some people don't see any of this because when it's centered on Sakura they probably skip it or flip the page or see it for something it's not. In the end if they don't like her that's fine by me, just don't twist facts.
