I think it would be more like this:
In the mean time Naruto comes to conclusion that his mother had gone to the dark side, and that she is actually a transvestite. and in the final acounter his mother comes to him:

Naruto, Im your father

Oh no!

Yes my son, come to the dark side with me!

I hope not. She should stay dead. Just like all the other "Dead" characters, they need to show them actually decompose for me to believe they're actually dead. I can't take any other characters word for it. ;/

Because people who die or are said to be dead need to stay that way. OR should I awate the return of Asuma aswell?
What a stupidly pretentious comment. You can't compare the absense of Narutos mom and Asuma in that we actually saw the event of Asumas death throughout the linear storyline... Kushina has vaguely been mentioned at certain times but never have we seen anything legitimately confirming that she's dead, nor that she'd ever "return". Just because people like to say "that's how things ought to be" doesn't mean it's detrimental to other events that are completely different matters.

It's not like Kishi to leave ends untied, is it? We're definitely going to hear about her at some point, and no one except Kishi himself can righteously confirm whether or not she'll return.

It was hardly stupid. We didn't see Obito die, even though he was evedently crushed. Does that mean he'll re-appear in the series. The answer is no. Why? We can assume he's dead or he would have reappeared in the series by now. Same goes for Kushina. IF she was to reappear why wouldn't it be now, or earlier on in the series, during the 3 year time skip? My point is, is that if she hasn't re appeared she IS dead and if she ISN'T dead Kishi only put her into the series to prolong it's end. She has no purpose in coming into the series so late. Naruto doesn't need a mother because he has so many idols and people that he can look up to.

If she doesn't have a purpose then it'll be something like this;
"Hi naruto I'm your mom."
"Where were you?"
"Oh IDK wandering the forest for 15 years oh you can do Rasengan Just like your father. <3"

Please put a reason WHY she would come into the series so late.

You can't compare her to Obito either, cause Obito was allegedly crushed underneath a bunch of rocks, something depicted in the series. In other words a concrete scene of death. Even if his death hasn't been confirmed visually, the time of death was evident and it has had a lot more mention than Kushina, whom herself has only as much as been spoken of. I've never stated I believe she'll appear in the series alive and well, but neither do I deny the fact that it could happen.

What I really do believe is that there'll be somewhat of an explanation or a flashback that'll further our knowledge as to what happened to her. And what you said is actually true, professional writers do add potential plotlines everywhere. Besides, a mystery as big as the one of about Kushina (the mother of the most important character in the entire series) would almost be a liability to resolve at some point.

It doesn't matter when or why she'll reappear this late in the series. We haven't even had any leads on how long the series will carry on from here on. Seeing as it's been 10 years and the series is one of such huge earnings potential, there'll be several opportunities to fit it in.

As I said. Chances of her making an appearance in real form are slim to none because she has no signifigance. She wasn't an exceptional Kunochi or we would have heard about it, she hasn't done anything exept cooked meals for Minato and gave birth to Naruto. Just because she's the mother of the main character has nothing to do with if she'll appear in the series or not. It has little to no relevence in what HE does or what he can do in the series. He's grown up he doesn't need a mother. If his mother does appear its to lengthen the plot, add another chapter, and another OVA that no one would want to watch. If it's a flashback or part of a side series fine, fair enough.

Other then that, there isn't a purpose for her to appear.

There's no point in this discussion then, since your opinion is way too one-sided. You need to think beyond the box from time to time, it doesn't always have to be an explanation for everything when it comes to fiction.

Oh and by the way - It's quite narrow-minded to state that she holds no significance to the Naruto universe when you've been complaining about how little she has been mentioned throughout the series. There wouldn't be sufficient justification for such a claim. And before you come up with the same generic argument of "Then why hasn't she been mentioned earlier?" again, I'll point to where I said it's a wide open Universe with a lot land to build on.

Lol. Her only scene thus far is "Naruto.. is a good name" or something along the lines of that. I never said there has to be an explanation for her appearing in the series. If she does she'll have a reason too. If she doesn't have a reason then it's just Kishi trying to milk the money cow. Either way why introduce yet ANOTHER character into the series, when someone else could do the exact same thing? [This is along the lines of Kushina Teaching Naruto something.]

IF anything I could see her AND Minato apearing in the series together as a flashback or in a Minato Gaiden. [As they did in Jiraiya Gaiden] There are other things that I would like answered before seeing Kushina in the series.

Where and when she appears in the storyline is irrelevant to the question as to whether she will or not. It's all about how, and why... and I believe Kishimoto, having created what he has, will find a way around it.

...And hasn't Naruto always been about introducing new characters, extending the storyline, earning shitloads of money...? On the surface it might look as though he only cares about the development of his fantasy, but believe me, this is how he makes a living. I like Naruto, but I'm not too naive to see it's economic potential, denying that it could have an effect on the length of the series.
