I think so too because Naruto seemed like he had a plan for Sasuke. It showed when he said he understood sasuke.

i reckon they kill each other. then the uchiha power itachi gave naruto will kick in, he'll do izanagi and theyll both be brought back to life, but with sasuke in a shell state like madara. discuss.

I think that there is a chance that he may get through to Sasuke. But I also can see them killing eachother in some epic battle (like what was stated above).
