I think it might be possible that Naruto develops a friendship with the Juubi, and gains a stronger Ten Tails Mode than Rikudou had. However, this will not make Naruto stronger than him, as Naruto would still miss the doujutsu. This way, Naruto can have like a stronger body that Rikudou, while it'd be awesome if Sasuke unlocked something beyond the rinnegan. Then, together, they are more powerful than even the Sage, and it would make their final battle a lot more cool.

OP, you over looked a lot of Naruto's jutsu.

Now, will he surpass Rikudo. I believe he will surpass Rikudo in certain way, but not overall and not in strength.

And NO. Naruto cant surpass so6p base on 668 chapters. So6p solo jubi. Naruto has to at least be able to solo jubi first. Sealing jubi ain't gonna beat so6p cuz so6p crap on jubi. Naruto have to seal sasuke in him or simply seal so6p, so then naruto can surpass so6p
