Will Naruto ever be promoted past genin

naruto will be hokage some point in the series, but he will stay a genin until the day comes when he will become a hokage, until then his going to be a genin..( i think kishi like it that naruto ( a genin ) will straight become a hokage like no one else did) hope you guys like it...

i think naruto is both mentally and physically strong enough,to be a hokagein the fight against pain and 3rd raikage, it is clear that naruto can analyze his opponents and find their weakness......the strategies he adopted against his opponents are also worth praising

Naruto is easily kage level, but the truth is... he's dumb as a wall, well maybe not, but kage has to do alot of thinking/sitting in one place/paperwork and in the end, the tower will be destroyed with a rasenshuriken

We all know that Naruto has the skills of a jonin; although the mental capacity to be one is questionable. But will he ever be promoted to reach this potential or will he just be left a genin for the remander of the series/ until he becomes hokage.

I don't think he'll change from a Genin until he reaches Hokage. He has no reason to waste time in the Chuunin Exams and you can't become a Jounin unless you reach Chuunin
