Why would he destroy the tailed beasts, he already stated he was gonna save them..... Naruto dieing would be too much of a cliche, kishi has something interesting in store for us all

But in the manga? Doubtful. He's supposed to become a Hokage the like of which has ne'er been seen, right? He's also supposed to stop the cycle of hatred (though I guess he could die doing that and die a martyr but it doesn't feel like Kishimoto's style).

Anyway, I really don't think so. The main story (excluding messages like accepting and understanding others) is basically about Naruto and his growth. If he dies in the end, it will have to be done perfectly. And I'm not even sure I'd be satisifed with that, since the story would just feel...pointless.
