Will Naruto be the first to make the jump from Genin to Hokage?

Wuld the land of Fire agree to a Genin as Hokage?

Why did nobody promote Naruto?
He may not be smart enough to lead a team but in battle he is more effective than 2 or 3 jounin working as a squad

Well even if Naruto becomes hokage he still probably wont be th first one to make the jump from genin to hokage or kage level.

For example Gaara i dont think ever became a Chunin though i may be wrong.

Hashirama Senju/first hokage and Tobirama Senju never became chunin or jonin though i am not postive about this though i presume they didnt. correct me if im wrong anyone.

Yes i think the land of fire and the Daimyo would agree for him to become hokage though most likely not any time soon. the people of konoha regard him as a hero well most of them do. The Daimyo would find out that he was trained by Jiriaya and Kakashi and that could persuade him to make him hokage.

Why nobody promted him well there hasnt been much reason to promte him and anyway hes been on several missions that have been above D/C ranked.

And tot he strength thing to become a chuiunin its about aptitude not the strength of the person like remeber when Shikimaru became Chunin and the others didnt even though he lost in the first roun d of the finals.

I dont think a village will judge a ninja purely based on his rank. Im sure nobody will object with Naruto being the Hokage in the future.

I guess gaara was promoted since he had his own student at the end of naruto remember?


Dunno about the first and second hokage .. maybe they weren't even genin since the whole rank system may not apply for clans



however its funny though ... naruto became a genin by special promotion and he probably won't have to take the chunin exam although .. wouldn't it be funny to have a matchup between konohamaru and naruto over the rank of chunin?

After he defeated Pain, many of the villagers were talking and I know I read one of them consider Naruto to be the next Hokage. So it could happen.

It all comes down to the fact that most people get chosen as kage by how they value the village and yes how powerful they are and how the village sees that person too.
yes its better if the shinobi makes the true way through rank but still i think it mainly comes down to those facts.

Naruto still needs to mature before being promoted to a Kage.

Or, cynically, the manga still needs to get closer to the end before he's promoted to a Kage

Although if someone else (like Kakashi) was promoted as Kage first, it might be easier to raise him as a second kage.

I think the elders wont make him hokage untill he either gives up on sasuke or he finds him because the elders know that unless he finds sasuke he wont pay attention tohis duties
