Will Madara's trump card succeed?

Anyone who has been reading the past 70 chapters should know that is trump card will fail. He isn't going usurp Obito's position as the final villain. The contrast between Obito and Naruto is far too great.

I honestly don't believe it will, Madara should've been done and dusted like 10 chapters ago.

A shinobi shouldn't be taken for his words, and especially Madara. Maybe his trump card is simply to wait for an opportunity, something or a weakness he has knowledge of, and then strike Obito.
